Hi there everyone, call me Louken!
I'm really looking forward to joining the world of RP. I am incredibly inexperienced with it but that doesn't mean I'll shy away from learning. This is my first time registering for a site of this nature so I don't quite know what I should expect or really what is expected of me. I first became interested in the idea of RP after many years of playing RPG's, MMO's, reading several fantasy book/comic series, and everyone's favorite, Dungeon's & Dragon's. I took what I think was my first step towards this when playing an MMO 2 years ago, I created my first original character who happened to be named (you guessed it!) Louken. I made a backstory, developed it over time and eventually shared it with others who were in the MMO. I never partook in any of the RP activities though as I was always incredibly nervous to look a fool or be made fun of for not knowing what I'm doing.
To be blunt, writing was never my strongest subject but I do enjoy it more often than I thought I would as there is so much beauty in the written word. Whole worlds, systems of government, magic, politics and intrigue, all brought to life through vivid detail and imagination. I am here in hopes of gaining valuable knowledge, experience, and even friends. I genuinely look forward to speaking with the wonderful people that I'm sure are here.
