Eferhilda

Capital of the Mountain Kingdom and home to the Royal family as well as the upper class citizens, this is the heart of the Kingdom. Built straight into the mountains themselves, it is a fortress near impenetrable due to not only the thick walls, but the metal lining of the walls themselves. Lined with the same metal the Kingdom is known for, those with magic would find that their usual bags of tricks ineffective against them.

Cascada is where the people fall back to in the event of an attack.

Built by the master masons of the city, is where most of the population of Akamu dwells. The roads are paved in stone to make for excellent travel. At night torches light the way to give the place a warm glow for those who like to roam at night.

Built in a winding circular fashion, meant to break up an army when an attack happens. At the center is a ornately built water fountain. It is the center of many activities, especially during the hot season when the children can often be found there splashing and playing in the water.

Buried deep within the Mountains that the Capital is carved from, lie the Azurnium mines. The one and only place in the world where the legendary ore, given to the people of Akamu by the Gods themselves can be found. Light weight and practically indestructible, this metal has to be worked by the Master Blacksmiths of the Royal family in order for it's true properties to be revealed.

This metal completely negates magic. No one is certain why or how, but the metal has been key to Akamu's power since the beginning. A secret they guard with their lives.

The mines are a mass of connecting tunnels and elevators, operated by a pulley and weight system. Lit by torches, it is a dark place where the workers toil away but it is for a rather reasonable pay. Miners are ranked third in the social class of this Kingdom, because of the danger that comes from mining. Unless of course you are a slave, then you earn nothing.

The bustling metropolis of the kingdom, this is where the financial district can be found. Shops and their keepers call this place their home and it is where they sell their wares to the citizens of the Kingdom as well as those who visit. Precious metals and gems can be found a plenty thanks to the mines that are there, with the craftsmen of Kingdom making some of the finest jewelry and armor to be had in the world.

At the top of the mountains Dwell the dragons. The noble race of creatures that long ago threw their hat in with the people Akamu, when they found they could not defeat one another. Together they banded against the other Kingdoms and have since been the Allies to the Royal family.

The temperature here is extremely hot and has been known to destroy equipment that has not been treated beforehand. The Hatchery itself is within the mountain and surrounded by a ring of fire It is here that the eggs are laid and kept at the perfect temperature until it is time for them to hatch.
