Hello, Creative Freedom community, I'm Tee.
I've been in the roleplay industry since about '05(ish). Technically a bit longer, but I say '05, because that's when I really got into it and started learning how to do things on my own.
So. Like. 13+ years. (And ow that makes me feel old.)

Anyway.

Modern/urban and medieval fantasy are my jam.

I have a few fandoms that I belong to (though to be completely honest, I've never actually played in any of them..would be cool to at least try some day) yet I haven't (personally) met a whole lot of people in the rp world who even know them, soo..

Um...I tend to be a bit...closed off? at first? Especially in new places. 'cause. Well. Anxiety is a beach. But the more I get to know people the weirder, louder, and more sarcastic I become.

Annd...I'll cut this short here so I don't take up too much more space/time.

Thanks for reading.

Oh, you'll fit in nicely! I mean...welcome to CF, Tee! =D

But really, we've got quite the bunch here, just lurk around chat long enough and you're sure to see that.

You've also got some good interests there, fantasy being a really popular genre around here. The Member Listings should give you some idea as to what else is popular and common to see around here, but don't let that stop you from trying something new. What sorts of fandoms are you into?

I'll also direct your attention to the Rules. Should these, or anything else for that matter raise any questions, don't hesitate to contact either myself or my Partner In Crime, the other half of Team Captain Marvel, or, as the title says, my fellow Mentor @Yue . We'd love to help you out, or even just chat! Don't feel like you can't just send either or both of us a funny picture if you feel so inclined! =)

That said, I hope you find the place to your liking, settle in nicely, and show us that weird and loud side! Happy writing!

Ohey. Thank you for that welcome, I appreciate it. :)

On fandoms: Most of them count as fantasy, but some of them are technically also romance novels. (Lmao.) Which is probably at least part of the reason I don't come across a whole lot of people in the roleplay world who even know those particular ones.

Also: Thanks for the links! They're much appreciated. :)

Welcome Tee!!

Aster already pretty much said everything, but just to let you know I am Yue, the partner in crime and other half of the Team Blue, Mentors.

Like Aster said, if you need anything don't be afraid to reach out. We're very nice people and we love new people :D

Welcome again and enjoy the site!

Hello and welcome to CF! !shy I've read a few romance novels myself that also count as fantasy, but I'm not big on romance roleplaying. I do have a high fantasy medieval roleplay based in my own little world up on this site. This place has everything you need for all of your roleplay needs!

I hope you have as much fun here as I do!

Fantasy is the best! But just wait until you figure out your intro and you have to say it's been 20+ years. That's feeling old ;)

Are your fandoms books? Because I love hearing about books and I'm happy reading romance, but mostly I guess I only know bigger names. When I was young I went through my grandma's entire collection (because yay books) but I can't say much of it sticks out in my mind these days. Just there was one really old one and instead of getting all smutty the romance was a courtship romance and the book ended with a kiss. I always thought it was pretty epic of the writer to have built it so carefully and beautifully.

Whoop. Sorry for the late response. (Been feeling under the weather for a while now, and r.l. stuff is just kicking my butt.)

My 'fandom' books are Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter/Were-Hunter/Dream-Hunter series (though I admit to not being fully up to date on this series 'cause the last Were-Hunter book of hers that I read left me extremely disappointed with her..which is something I thought I would never be..and has made it really hard for me to put enough trust back into her to actually continue reading her books...as much as I LOVE her world buidling and her snarky/sarcastic/sassy as all get out sense of humor), Michelle Bardsley's Broken Heart series (which is friggen amazing, but the books alone are hard enough to find..nevermind people who know the series LOL), Lynsay Sands Argeneau novels (I love, love, love her twist to "vampires"), Larissa Ione's Demonica novels...those are the least well known series I believe? (Lol) And then my slightly more well known series are the Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead and the Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop. (I only read the original 3 books that take place in the world 'cause..well..most of her characters were ridiculously o.p., but the world was super unique and the plot line was at least intriguing enough to make me want to know what happened next. LOL.)

Okay so now I'll have to add some of those to my pile of should read haha. The only 'paranormal romance' category books I've really read are either Kim Harrison and Laurel K. Hamilton. I seriously loved Laurel, but after like ten books or something it was less amazing character development and more flat out porn. Which is less interesting to me. Hmm maybe you could also count Patricia Briggs in that genre, since it is coyote and werewolf love :D

If you want to play vampires and weres in general (and you can make them the type in your fandoms, why not), there are likely a ton who will take you up on that offer! I've been super tempted to join some of those games myself haha. Someone posted this forbidden love type one, super fun sounding.

Welcome Tee. I am Lady Kate and this is my 2nd home. I see you already made friends and it looks like you will be right at home here too. I support romance writers on social media. I have been rping over 15 years. I hope to get where I feel good enough to be published. Alas, I had a stroke three years ago recovering I enjoy romance and medieval fantasy. If you have an itch for this I welcome you to rp in my world.

Hello there Tee, a belated welcome aboard!

I'm Wildspawn and I've been on CF since 2014, used to be a mentor on here too. Since 2016 I've been on and off then came a time where I was gone for a while until the past month. But from experience I think Creative Freedom is the best multi-genre roleplay site that you can find anywhere and the staff is superb, always kind and ready to help and support someone on their journey to roleplay. I have read your resume. Feel free to check out mine and if you like anything maybe we could write together sometime! =)

WS
