Like Capros, the curse had influenced Andronicus in ways that he hadn't originally thought of. Being a tiger he did have quite a healthy appetite as well. Considering his circumstances, though, he usually didn't get the opportunity to indulge himself quite as much. Grinning perhaps for the first time in their meeting as he looked up toward the other, Andronicus nodded. Apparently he agreed with the idea that food was important.

"Well, at least let some of my own coin end up in my own stomach. This food is much better than the sailor's rations I was surviving on only a short while ago." While he didn't eat quite as ravenously as the other, it was obvious that Andronicus was enjoying himself. This certainly tasted much better than the slop that he was served before, and he could eat his fill. Well, no, it wasn't truly his fill, but it was at least closer than what Capros was dealing with.

Capros was entirely correct in his assessment of the situation. Messing with the father of all of Olympus didn't sound like a good idea. Andronicus complained that Dionysus was fickle and odd. He considered himself lucky, though, that the god of wine wasn't going to electrocute him.

"Lightning-y death sounds unpleasant and the two of us pretty much already are both beasts beyond imagination. I say lets go after the fleece." Pausing for a few moments, he thought about the situation before saying anything else. "Can you think of possible motives for taking the fleece? Whoever it is has to be incredibly tough to get through the beasts that guard such relics, so I would have figured that they had nothing to prove."

Pushing his seat back from the table, Capros mused on the question Andronicus had posed. He let the silence stretch through the moments, even as the world around the pair of them droned on in its usual order. Eventually, he shook his head and slowly stood. "There's too little we know to make guesses just yet." He had an idea, but he wasn't ready to commit to it and it was the sort of thing best left silent, anyway. Not that Capros was good at keeping his mouth shut, but... All he said, as Andronicus finished eating and the pair of them started to leave, was "we'll learn a lot when we encounter the guardians proper, if they're still on the road to Medea." Learn a lot they would... If the guardians were still standing proud, then either the theft was done with stealth and precision - or there had been no theft. If they lay in ruins, the list of potential claimants to the fleece would be short indeed. "Lead the way."

Looking out over the world before them, stretching from the edge of the little fishing village onward, Capros felt his spirit soaring with newfound purpose - but there was something... Unstable. A knowledge that this could - maybe would - crash down around him sooner or later. This wasn't the first time Capros looked to the horizon, but every time he reached towards the sun, he fell back down. No, that wasn't it. Every time he reached towards the sun, he was pulled down, dragged by the chains Artemis had forged about him. She would, at times, thank him for his work. Praise his method, or offer him a moment's respite, or even simply give him one day without her interference. But at the end of it all, he was only a tool she used to work her will. And she was not about to give up what was hers.

Even though Capros hadn't seemed to want to be committal to the question that Andronicus had posed, he didn't press him for more information. He figured that being rude, especially when the other had nothing to reach a comment on, wouldn't have gotten him any useable thoughts. For what it was worth, he couldn't think of any motive that someone could have had to take the fleece, so he wasn't really any smarter in that respect either.

Should the guardians have still been there then they might not have actually known that the theft had taken place. While the kind of stealth and precision needed would have been incredible, it wouldn't have been unheard of. Then again, Andronicus hardly wanted to be the person to tell them that the fleece had actually been taken. Surely they were both powerful were-beasts at this point, but power didn't make him stupid at all and he hadn't really wanted to go and fight off those guardians if he had any say in the matter.

Eventually Capros' suggestion that he lead the way was followed. Andronicus shrugged a bit, threw back his hair and started on the road that they were going to have to travel to get to where they were going. "You seem really thoughtful with the way that you were looking out." Naturally he was no mind reader and couldn't be sure of what was going through Capros' mind, but he at least was starting to have some more clear sense of purpose than he might have had in the past. That was raising his morale some over what it was before.

If he had been able to hear the other's thoughts, though, then he would have realized that he had a great deal in common considering his own views of Dionysus. Capros, though, was kept in a golden cage, which made things all the more dramatic for him.
