Georgina felt a rush of adrenaline through her veins. A primal fear took hold of her, and at the same time, a primal... courage? Or something similar to it. There was a certainty that action was to be taken as the red head gripped her bow.

Moving silently, she picked up an arrow and examined the silvery tip. That would have to do. When she heard something heavy landing upstairs, the girl knew that whatever it was had entered the house.

It was now an invader, and invaders could be taken out. "Get mother away", she mouthed to her father. "I will check it out". After these silent directions, the girl put an arrow in place and started walking quietly towards the stairs. The moment she saw something movement, the arrow would be released and another one prepared. It was do or die, now.

---------------------

As Daniel's eyes flashed open, the voices around the boy fell silent. Katherine was still in the same place where she had been.

Mr. Weylyn didn't move either, keeping the quiet in the room.

As the lucid dream progressed - something only Daniel could experience - he could see, or dream of, other less pleasant snippets of action. The slightly dark living room in Gina's house, where they used to sit by the fire on a few rainy days.

Something massive rushing down the stairs. And a very familiar voice letting out the word "help!" in a pained voice. If that was true, imagination or the sight of a near future, it was hard to define, though.

Zack took one massive step onto the stairs, the wood creaking so loudly with the weight there was doubt whether it would hold him or not. Suddenly, he felt himself grow eager with bloodlust... the urge to kill and protect his sibling, the urge to murder. He flexed his powerful legs, and the six foot eight inches tall werewolf burst forward with incredible speed. His hands breaking clean threw the railing, and his jaws open... saliva dripping an acrid ichor. He just rounded the stairs, the human girl was in sight and so was a man... but he only cared about the girl at the moment. He saw there bows, but it just intensified his urges. A howl so loud it shook the floor erupted, and he stopped. Inches from the face of both humans. He was the fastest werewolf in the family... so it was no surprise he was so quick... though that blood curdling yowl stopped him. Zack's silver eyes froze as he stared first at the father, and then the girl Gina. Zack felt his eyes flex with panic, his eyes dilating with worry. Even a monster... could have panic for an expression it seemed.

Zack pushed past his fear, and moved to claw at the girl...
--
Daniel felt his throat closing up after the howl, his clothing was stretching in each fibre. Yet through his fear, his rage was stronger. His eyes went bloodshot, and he felt himself grow so big that his shirt tore at the seams. Even his jeans ripped, turning to shreds. Almost instantly, he felt the fur erupt from him, his face elongating. There was barely any time, yet he ran to the door of the house and ran into it full force, the door breaking not just off its hinges, but splitting and splintering in many areas. He saw his brother ready to swing at Gina... and he glared... running for his sibling.
--
Almost instantly after the sound of the door, he stopped and turned his head, eyes widening in distress. Zack moved to communicate with his brother, but that was when he made his fatal mistake. At the look of his brothers werewolf form, Zacks wolfen jaw dropped in surprise. Daniel was a whole seven foot four inches tall. His brothers pelt was rippling muscle fixed with black fur. His neck, practically a main of fur, he highly doubted he could get his sharp teeth around his own brothers throat without choking if he wanted too. Daniel was like the founder of the Weylyns from stories... and the founder was more vicious in his form then any other wolf.

His brother was bound to kill him, and Zack knew that as Daniel grabbed Zack by the throat and kept running, Zack felt himself being picked up with only some effort , Daniels arm rippling even bigger with the weight, and smashed into what appeared to be a fridge... the whole thing caved in around Zack, and even the blow made Zack feel pain when werewolves usually were fine unless hit by silver.

Gina felt her blood curdle when she took a moment to really see the massive beast she was facing. The creature was not only massive, but going for the kill. Even never having faced a werewolf before - up until a few seconds ago, she didn't even believe they could exist -, Gina could tell its intentions were the worst possible ones. And if a miracle didn't happen, she was surely as good as dead. Feeling her heart race, Gina braced herself. It was clear that, for one reason or another, she was the target.

When the beast moved to claw at her - despite it seemed to have been, like her, scared by the howl -, Georgina closed her eyes. It was the end. There was so much she had yet to do, and now it was over. She hadn't even talked to Daniel about how she felt about him...

When death didn't come in the form of sharp claws, and a noise somewhere alerted her, Gina opened her eyes. What... what was going on?

There was another one. Another one of those beasts. Inside her house. All right, now they were officially dead. All of them. But wait... the new one wasn't aiming at them. No, it was aiming at the other one. Why?

And now they were wrecking her home. What the hell was going on? Gina didn't move for a while, as if frozen in place. Her heart was racing, but her body didn't react until her father tugged on her arm. She sprung to action, as though waking up from a dream. "Take mom out first", the girl replied, preparing and aiming her bow again. Something inside her didn't want to shoot the second beast, and she hesitated, arrow ready to be shot. What was she to do?

Daniel had never felt more alive then when he was assaulting his brother... that was what he was feeling right now and was the truth of the matter. Almost right away, he felt his brother grab his forearm with both hands to pull him off. Zack would have succeeded if he had not tightened his grip more. When Zack's began to lull, Daniel reached a hand up to slash at Zack's eyes when he heard a voice. Then the familiar *Clack, Clack* of a pair of shoes he distantly remembered. He ignored it, but when he went to continue his assault, he found himself unable to move. *Clack, Clack* he heard once more. Daniel felt his eyes narrow, and he forced his claws forward, at that time he found his arm stopped. Grabbed by the wrist, his father moved beside Zack and looked up at his son. "Don't do it..." he murmured. Daniel felt himself grow angry, but then it quickly faded as his father let him go... and Daniel dropped the wolfen Zack.
-
Slowly, he turned... the whole seven foot four inch tall wolf man walking towards Gina before stopping as he realized how small she was. Her expression something he could not understand in this state. He turned to look at his father, but Charles had already gone with him, disappearing like the wind... Alexander no where to be found in this excursion. Daniel peered down at the seemingly very small Gina. His silver eyes brimming with pain and sadness. The change had not been what he had expected when he became a wolf... but now that he was the monster werewolf, and he now realized just how tall he was... he was afraid to see what he looked like. He glanced in the window to his left to see his reflection... and he felt a tear coming on, brimming at the edge before slipping down his furry, wolfen face. He closed them slowly, his ears flicking and tail moving slowly in a sad manner. It was funny... on how things he never had on his human form, felt so natural in this one. He opened his eyes, doing what he had to do... and picked up the closest object, which happened to be a chair. He used one hand and threw it before Gina's feet, making sure not to hurt her before he ran past and for the door; running into the wilderness...

Gina felt terribly confused and scared. A few moments ago, her life was a normal one, with only the concerns every teenage girl had. And now, all of a sudden, she had to worry about surviving the presence of... monsters.

Monsters she had never seen, or even thought possible. And now they were here. And out for blood, apparently. Her blood. But then... there was another one. And this one didn't seem to want to harm her. He seemed to be... protecting her? Why?

The girl blinked a few times, bracing herself when the larger monster turned around. Her heart was racing, and despite her fear, the girl didn't move from her place. What the hell was going on...? That was horribly confusing. Something about the creature was so familiar that Gina had to fight the temptation of touching it.

But then, the moment was gone, and so was the wolfman. Feeling like all of that was too much, Gina sat down on the floor, breathing heavily. Pain, confusion and fear were in her eyes when she looked at her father. Mr. Benbow sighed and leaned closer, picking his daughter up. "We need to get out of the house, now. I will explain everything once we are safe".

Daniel wandered forlornly through the woods to his home, pieces of the shattered glass falling off of his fur as each hair either fell out or retracted. By the time he got home, his faces bone structure was changing back. He had never felt a more painful thing in his life, and he could not stop but cover his eyes and mouth as the burning intensified. When he got back into the building, he and stumbled in and fell to his knees. By that time, his father Charles was by his side, and so was Alexander. Zack had managed to show himself, a little bit bruised around his neck, but quickly healing. When the transformation was done, he sat there in a sweat, just staring off blankly. His mother walked in with a smaller girl just beside her. This girl had very enticing red eyes... yet they were full of something else to... almost, lust. Not exactly for him, but for something else inside him, like the beast.

She smiled softly, and just as his father tried to console him, the girl gave a wicked grin. "Your transformation is a... special case, so to speak" she murmured. Flipping back her long curled brown hair. ", So we are going away for a while..."
Daniel felt his eyes raise, they looked much colder then they were before his transformation. "For how long..." he said without a hint of surprise. The girls smile swapped out for a pouty look, but she quickly ignored his coldness. "Well, that will depend on you, right Charles?" she said. Daniels dad nodded grudgingly, and he sighed, "Right." Daniel stood up on unsteady feet and coughed, the transformation having taken much out of him. "Well..." he murmured, looking out into the direction of Gina's house. "... it's not like I can go on like I am now..." he whispered sadly. "By the way, sorry... Zack," he said. His brother nodded, and he sighed as well, "You had every right to be ****..."

Daniel barely heard him, and he just stared off.

Back at Gina's home, an eery silence was all over the house. Mrs. Benbow had returned to the living room, and nobody said a word for a long time. Gina, still in her father's arms, trembled softly. She nodded after Mr. Benbow's words about getting out of the house. There was no way they could simply stay in there and just wait for those beasts to come back.

"Wh-where are we going?", Gina asked softly. "Somewhere", Mr. Benbow replied. "Probably a small hotel, until we can make up our minds about what to do".

Mrs. Benbow nodded quietly. "I will pack something for all of us. You stay here with Gina", she murmured. As the woman left, Gina shook her head. "What... what the hell is happening?", the girl demanded, her voice trembling. "Why are the two of us acting as though... this is all very normal...?".

Mr. Benbow sighed and shook his head. "I will tell you everything once we are safe. I promise".

Seven years had passed while Daniel was away... the one known as Katherine taught him many things about himself, and he spent years of his life by her side. The day she told him about there marriage, and tried to force him into it, was the day he left, full of rage at her assumptions that he would go with it. She told him as he left, how on his twenty-fifth birthday, he would marry her. That day was less then a year away, and the twenty four year old Daniel Weylyn made his way home. He wondered to himself, as he took one step past the old grocer that he would get his families home supplies from. If anyone would remember him? In his time away, he had grown exceptionally handsome, his hair style had not changed much, but he now kept it more parted in areas and well kempt, and he had the makings of a stubble growing on his chin and jawline. He had an expensive looking dark grey dress shirt on and a pair of dark blue jeans. His eyes, were not the same... though they appeared to not have changed, there was a new intensity to them, a dark look that showed he had not taken his existence as a werewolf lightly... and had hated every minute of it. Either that, or he accepted the beast in himself more than his own family had.

Daniel seemed to be barely the same person as he was when he had left without goodbyes to anybody, not even his family. He was sure even now, Katherine was watching him, waiting to see what he would do for his "homecoming" so to speak.

Seven years had passed since that scary moment back at the Benbow family's home. Since the day in which they all were nearly killed by an angry beast. Since the day the family nearly fell apart. That day, after they had left the house and checked in to a hotel for a few days, Mr. Benbow finally told his daughter everything about her family's past. About how when they had come to that town, their family and the family comprised of werewolves had soon gotten involved in a feud. The versions were varied, and Mr. Benbow said he didn't know which was true.

Some stories said there had been a sort of Romeo and Juliet story. Some said a member of the Benbow family had accidentally killed a member of the Weylyns, thus starting the war. How it had begun was a mystery. But it had never stopped since. Generation after generation, there had always been uneasy peace or outright war.

Looked like the current generation would be on the second case. And for that, Georgina prepared herself. Her first plan had been to move out of home and live alone, but Mrs. Benbow's pleas had changed her mind. Yet, the relations within the family were never the same. Now that Georgina knew what was expected of her, a lot made sense. And a lot didn't. Gina couldn't get over the fact that important parts of her life and history had been kept from her. She couldn't simply overlook the fact that it had nearly killed her. But that was in the past now.

Gina had a future to look forward to. She planned on leaving the town, but before... she needed to make peace with one person. The one other person in all that mess who hadn't had a choice either.

Daniel could feel the eyes of others on him as he walked, and he could tell he seemed extremely out of place. Eventually he just remembered turning around and staring at everyone back. "What..." he more stated, than asked as a real question. At this, any one who was looking at him cleared there throats and turned away, and he continued on his way. Daniel didn't stop walking, and the only time he thought about it was when he passed Georgina's house. He flinched for a split second before lowering his head, dark thoughts over taking him as he wandered towards the wood line and his home. His fists clenching in anger, then releasing as he simply let it go. Though the thoughts of the day he confronted her as a werewolf still burned in his mind, it was like a contract with the devil forever binding him and controlling his thoughts. He could struggle and try to forget, but he knew he would be under her spell just after an encounter unless he broke that contract, yet knew that he would lose something more than he already has. He stopped mid step, and grabbed both sides of his head, attempting to take a breather and get under control. "-But that something I'd lose, feels like something precious..." he grumbled to himself before lowering his hands.

He closed his eyes for but a moment, sighed and took another step toward home...

Georgina could also feel eyes on her, but not the townsfolks'. She could feel her parents gazing at her. It wasn't exactly a rare occurrence lately. It seemed like every time she moved or said something she would be looked at like she had just grown a second head.

Maybe, for her parents, she had indeed changed that much. But who could blame her? In one single day, everything she knew as her life crumbled down and left her with nothing. Or at least, nothing but a completely different life she had not asked to have. Her best friend - for whom she still cared deeply, even with seven years apart - was a creature she had never believed in. A creature she was, in theory, supposed to hate. Her family had a long history of hunting and killing those creatures - or being hunted and killed by them.

And apparently she was expected to marry another hunter. In seven years, she had dodged that, though. Her firm 'no' had been enough, for now. And her life hadn't been easy. Her moments in the forest - something Gina couldn't give up on - had turned a lot more dangerous. She had lost count of how many times she had been attacked by one or another werewolf. She had defended herself, but not killed any of them. It was a personal vow she had made. It had nearly cost her life, but she had kept true to it. She wouldn't forgive herself if she killed a member of Daniel's family, or even him. No. Sacrifices had to be made, and she was willing to make them.

"Stop. Stop speaking", she finally interrupted her mother's lamentations about everything under the sun. About her refusal to marry. About her stubborn refusal to kill werewolves. And of course, about the high regard she still held her friend in. Jumping to her feet, Georgina picked up her bow and arrows. "I will be in the forest for a while", she stated firmly, leaving without waiting for an answer. Taking her dog with her - a Great Dane -, Gina walked to the forest in long strides. It was, ironically, the one place where she felt at ease. Not too much, though. She was always paying attention to any movement around her. It was probably why she heard, or felt, there was someone near before she saw who it was. "Show yourself!", her voice sounded, firm and more mature, but still sounding pretty much as she did seven years ago.

Daniel froze mid-step, he had been too distracted, and had not scented her presence until now. He rested his head on a tree, and he gripped the nearest branch, snapping it in seconds. This way, he could convince himself that he had to talk to her by accident alone. In hearing her voice, now older... and more womanly, yet undeniably hers. The lust he felt grew, and also his hate for a certain person. He rubbed his face with his hands, resting on his lips for a moment before he took a chance and walked out from beyond a pair of trees. "So, you have found me..." he said in an almost harsher voice, but also a sadder one as well. "I wonder, if you remember... that night as well as I do," his grin was a wolfish one, not kind... but not bad as well. He was on the fence now, and one step could change everything for him once again.

"What, don't recognize your old pal? Gina." His face looked like it fell, and he peered at the dog at her side. "Heh, so- he... Willy did not make it huh," he scratched the back of his head. "I guess, the moment things started up like this, there was no doubt I would never see him again." He did not want her to see the change in him, but in the end... it did not matter. He looked up into her eyes and offered up the best smile he could give, which was not one in the slightest. It was akin to a look the dude would have in a bad date, and figured out she was cheating on him, but did not want to appear like he knew and could not get it out of his head. It was uncertain, and regretful. "God, I wish I- I..." he gave up talking, and swallowed what felt like a baseball in his throat.

Something vibrated inside Gina when she heard that voice. It sounded eerily familiar. But yet… it couldn’t be the person she was thinking about. He was… gone, for a long time. Maybe even dead, if she was to consider the possibility. Of course, that was an idea Gina didn’t want to even entertain. Daniel had to be around. Even if he would never talk to her again.

His words about remembering that night made Gina lower her bow. He wasn’t a threat for her, of that Gina was sure. He was different, though. Very different. Not that she wasn’t. She had changed a lot. She had grown older, more mature, and a little more wary of everything and everyone.

But that was Daniel. Her Daniel, her best friend since they were children. His voice sounded sad, though, and his attempt at a smile didn’t escape Gina’s gaze. Shaking her head, Georgina dropped her bow and ran to her old friend. Her arms wrapped around him, her head barely reaching his chest. “Oh, shut up, Daniel”, Gina murmured, trying not to sound too happy to see him. “Just… shut up for a minute, will you?”.

Daniel raised his hands as if to keep her back, but by then her arms wrapped around him. "Look, Gina you shouldn't... just, don't-" he said, fighting to say something over the pounding of his heartbeat in his ears. Come to think of it, Gina's was there too, and he heard them together as though they were in sync. He placed his hands gently on her arms to push her back, but he soon grew weak with new emotions, and his hands dropped limply. "This warmth..." he said with half sigh. "You know, you just don't seem to grow Gina- try to gain a few inches or something," he said. When he finally did find the strength to embrace her in a hug, he tried to not be too rough. His arms were wrapped around her tightly enough as it was.

He noticed how well muscled she was now, slim, but powerful. Then his eyes softened, and he closed them for but a moment in thought. "Huh, Scratch that... it seems, it is me who has gained in size again." With that, he let her go and took a step back. "You have grown up Gina, I thought when I got back you would look like you did those few years ago." He crossed his arms and looked away, "Yet here you are, a beautiful young women now," he said, "you are strong, I can tell, and that is good... for what comes next you will need that strength. That strength that you have tenfold times more then I do." He spoke wistfully, but firmly as he looked up and into her eyes. "When the time comes, and we next meet, I will not do anything to hurt you, we can hang out for all I know, but... the next chance you can get, you need to do it when I least expect it... I want you to-" Daniel lowered his left arm and clenched his fist, planting his right hand onto his chest. "-You need to hit me here, Gina... with all you have got...

His eyes now blazed with a hunger unlike Daniels old gaze... this wasn't the kind, softness he always displayed to one and all else.
"I want it to be you, who kills me."

Gina felt her heart race with a slew of emotions she couldn't explain even if she tried. There was fear - not that Daniel would hurt her, but that he would push her away. Well, in a way it was the same, as Gina was sure she would be deeply hurt by Daniel's rejection. She could notice he was about to do just that. It was with a sigh of relief that she noticed Daniel didn't actually complete the movement to pull or push her away from him. When Daniel complained about her height, Gina couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, stop it already, Daniel", she murmured softly.

When Daniel's gaze seemed to soften, Gina felt her heart warm a little. It was the friendly gaze she remembered, but there wasn't much time to enjoy it, as he soon closed his eyes. "It seems to be. You seem to have the bad habit of leaving me behind". Gina looked up at Daniel and sighed. "Well, there wasn't a choice to be made, now was there? I had to grow up and... all that it implies". Falling silent, Gina frowned when Daniel started talking about her needing her strength.

Her eyes went wide when she heard Daniel's request. A cold anger slipped into those two emeralds. "Is that why you came back?", she asked, her voice cold and firm. "To ask me to do something I could never do? Daniel, if you... change right now and try to kill me, I will stand exactly where I am and let you do it before I raise a hand to harm you". Gina's breathing was heavy, as it always got when she was angry. She lifted her shirt just a little above her waist and showed a large claw scar on her skin. "See that? I didn't kill the one who did this to me, because I was afraid it could be either you or someone you cared about. I have not killed a single one of your kind to this day. And I will not kill you. If that is what you came for, leave now".

After a moment, Gina ran her fingers through her hair and looked at Daniel again, tugging on her shirt. "Why did you come back, after all this time? I expected... nothing. Doesn't matter".

Daniel seemed like he was going to charge her, and hurt her. Then he saw the claw marks on her belly, and rage engulfed him "Which one of them did that too you!?" he started up, emotions getting the better of him. Though he quickly grew weak again, and sighed in exasperation, and exhaustion. "She watches me all the time, and I don't know if I can take it anymore. She wants to know if I will survive this, and for all these years I have been gone, I have been in a losing battle..." he murmured, gripping his hand, which was now shaking. He looked up sullenly, and pitifully.

"I- I love you Gina!" he said in a half growl as he calmed himself down. "Though, if I can not do something about this fight, this internal struggle, I will be lost. I will be unlike anything you have seen. My brothers, they are just weaker, that is a fact... this beast is so strong it is beyond sanity, no wonder why no one wishes for this strength, but at the same time wants it... thy just want the perks, the pro's, not the khans." He said with an admitting tone. "If I could, I would love you, and care for you, and want you to love me back, but if I give in, i will want to fight, and if I want to fight, I will lose."

Daniel walked up to her, and moved her hand to his chest. "If you don't, everyone, not just you... but my own family, your family, the town... they may all end up dying... and I will be left to wander here, until I kill all the wildlife in this forest, until my heart gives out." He spoke, despair replacing the worry in his gaze. "I just wanted to spend my time with you, and I wanted the one I l- love, to end the beast." Daniel told her, grasping her hand with both of his now. "If I did beat it, and stayed with you, and ran away... what might happen to our kids? the gene gets stronger every time it manifests in a wolf. So chances of them being not just like me, but with this strong wolf gene that causes such pain and fighting, is only higher." He said softly, "I love you too much for you to watch that happen. But I am too much a coward to kill myself, and save you that worry."

"If- if there was a way, I would accept being a werewolf, and beat this thing... but like I am now... it's Kill, or be Killed"

Gina noticed Daniel's reaction to the markings on her body. Her gaze went to his face, and she waited for him to calm down. "I don't know, Daniel", she replied in a matter-of-fact intonation. She would really have no idea which one it was. They were all similar to her, so there was no way to know. "We can deal with her...", Gina started, but Daniel's statement interrupted and stunned her.

Feeling her heart race and tighten, Gina didn't reply right away. It was for the best, as Daniel kept on talking. She listened to him, trying to understand and help him. It pained her that he felt like this, like he was facing a losing battle before he had even started to fight it.

Placing her hand on Daniel's chest, Gina listened in silence. "You don't know that, Dan", she finally replied. "You have been trying to fight alone, and this... person, is obviously not helping. She is feeding the beast. I would soothe it, and work with you, not against you". Gina spoke softly, but firmly. "Let me try, Dan. Everyone dies. If I die helping you be a better... you, I... I can deal with that. And if I can help you and go on living... we don't need to have children. If you think they could suffer for being ours, we will not have them. We can be happy with each other. We can go away, somewhere where you can't harm anyone. We'll live in a forest and off the land". Gina held Daniel's hands tightly. "Let me help you!".

A million things were going through Daniel's head right now. What if they got out of here, what if they didn't? how would Gina's family feel? how would his feel? then the final question. How could Gina possibly help him? this question almost threw his thoughts off track, but he felt some hope at the very least. His heart was pumping so fast, he was afraid the change would come on as soon as he moved... but he at least trained himself enough to stop that. "But- what if you someday want kids?" he whispered softly. Daniel heard multiple noises in the distance, viscous noises. Noises of his brothers coming just like before. "It seems... just like before..." he said darkly. At that moment, he sighed and blinked as if clearing his head.

"Gina, go get your gear, and meet me by the docks... we will take a boat out of this place." He told her with a kind smile, like the old Daniel once had. "I am sorry... for pushing this all on you like this. Though, if you someday do change your mind, you will not have to worry... it will be dealt for when the time comes." He was sure of his words, more sure then he could have guessed himself. "I do love you Gina..." he said as he closed his eyes and gave her a kiss on her forehead. It was slow and shaky, and he was afraid... afraid of hurting her, and afraid of the act. When he raised his face, he was crying, and a tear of his fell to her forehead, making a small trail before falling off. "I will meet up with you, I just have some business to deal with." His voice was stronger now, but still kind like before as he brushed the water from her forehead with a thumb and turned around. His steps showed how he was unsure, but they were not shaking.

"The boat should be still at the dock that I had used to get here, the owner of the ship should accept 20 dollars for two. Make sure to get on the boat, and wait in the rooms, you will be okay in there."

Gina had a lot in her head as well. She felt that all of a sudden, everything had changed. Daniel's return to Otterburn had changed her life. Again, if she would be honest with herself. It seemed like every time something changed his life, hers followed. "We will cross this bridge when we come to it, Dan", Gina assured him firmly. She knew that was a possibility - they were young, after all. But she also knew that it was no use to waste time worrying about a possible future, not right now.

"Somethings are changing", Gina replied when Daniel said it seemed just like before. "This time, we are taking control of our fate".

After these words, Gina listened as Daniel told her what to do. His kind smile warmed her heart, and made her believe everything would work out all right. Then again, Gina was much more of an optimistic than Daniel. Or at least she believed in her ability to do things, to make things work. "Very well", she replied when he told her to get her gear and meet him by the docks. She smiled when he said he loved her. "I love you too, Dan", she murmured softly. "Please, be careful", Gina still murmured, before taking a step back. "I will do as you say. Please, be there".

Pausing after her request, Gina looked at Daniel and sighed. She needed to be fast, before she could think too much and give up. With this in mind, Gina turned her back to the forest and ran as fast as she could back home. There was no time to waste.

Daniel turned around and slowly walked through the forest towards home. Every muscle on him was sore from holding back the change during repeated occasions as of late. His eyes would constantly shift, and change if it was not for how much he cared for Gina, he could not have possibly withheld that from her. The young werewolf felt his teeth repeatedly grow from his gums to give the appearance of sharp canines, and then retracted. The change for a werewolf was not all painful, and somehow the pain was lusted after for them.
Though some things never felt desired.

The feeling of losing your humanity was like a form of ecstasy, and acted like a drug in the end. With all things considered, when you regained your more human outlook on life... the thin glass that separated the beast and man starts to dwindle, and crack. All the blood rushes in like water, and all you see is the red currents as you try to breath... blowing nothing but bubbles of air into the crimson lake.
In short, it's like drowning while knowing nothing is going save you.

Daniel looked up, and treating his weakness and strength like a tag team-
He let that thin glass crack just a little more...
