Lilu tip-toed through the meadow barefoot, enjoying the beaming rays of the sun on his skin. He took care not to step on the flowers as he went along, picking the inflorescences with the most blooms on them. He picked stem after stem, forming a bunched collection of gorgeous flowers in his hand. He searched through the bountiful meadow for his favorite flowers: Goldenrod, Black-Eyed Susans, Gaillardias, really anything yellow or orange that he could find. After picking a large number of flowers, he looked for plants with attractive foliage, picking stems, leaves, fronds, anything he could weave together that was pretty. Finally, he uprooted a goldenrod entirely. He ripped through the stem at the base and removed all the leaves and flowers from the main stem, leaving it bare.
He looked to a somewhat bare spot on the ground, depositing there all the flowers he'd collected. He sat down in the grass and flowers, taking the large bare stem in hand and muttering a spell, "Faciien Filo." Golden threads of magic formed at the ends of his middle and forefingers on one hand. He wrapped the stem around the crown of his head, getting a measurement and holding it there. Holding it in front of him with one hand, he deftly wound the magical threads around the stem with his free hand, securing it into a loop of green stem and glittering golden magic. He attached pieces of foliage around the ring, covering and filling it out the base of the flower crown. He then went through with the goldenrod, attaching bunches of it all along the ring in the same way, using it as a filler flower. To finish the crown, he went through once more, tying on gaillardia, black-eye susan, shasta daisies, oxe-eye daisies, and even a few odd orange and yellow coneflower blooms he'd found. He finished it off finally with another spell, incanting again in that strange language that fell somewhere between Latin and Abyssal.
"Fu'ulgenduum," he spoke, a shower of glittering, golden dust erupting from his hand into the air. He swiped the flower crown through it several times before casting a smaller cloud up into the air above his head. He let it flutter down into his hair and over his skin, settling into his feathers and clothing as well.
He stood up, donning the flower crown after admiring his handiwork, securing it on his head by binding it to his horns with more of the magical thread. He twirled, a small flurry of glittering magic erupting from around him as he giggled a little bit. He watched as it shimmered in the air, slowly floating down. By now his entire body had a dusting of the magically created shimmer, causing his skin to glitter in the sunlight. He looked stunning, he thought, somewhat akin to some solar eidolon.
Grinning, he took a running start before flapping his wings down hard and leaping into the air with a twirl, coming out of it and spreading his wings wide before propelling himself higher into the air. He ascended rapidly before diving down towards the ground, spinning and laughing the entire way down. He evened out and coasted mere feet above the tops of the flowers before taking off into the sky again. While ascending, he spotted somebody in the distance. Curious as to why there were out in the meadow, he changed his course to coast his way toward them, wondering if he could use them as a food source. He'd try, he decided. He couldn't fathom how anybody could resist him right now.
He dropped from the sky, landing gracefully behind the person he'd found, noticing they didn't seem to be very old, at least by his standards; He was just a teenager. But then again, biologically, so was Lilu.
"Hey there, what are you doing out here?" he inquired, desire magic heavy in his presence. "We seem to be alone out here, want to have a little fun?" he said with a wink. He wasn't being very subtle, but he didn't feel like playing around right now. It had been a while since he'd last had a meal, he'd realized. Seeing as he wasn't sure when he'd find another human, he decided this man would be his next meal, whether he devoured his lust or his soul. He'd go for either, but one of them was certainly easier, and much safer for Todd.
