Pit and Lucario ran from the troops of Master Hand as fast as they could. As soon as they turned a corner, Pit grabbed Lucario and flew upwards into a tree. The troops ran right past the tree. Pit sighed in relief, and turned to Lucario. "That was a close one." he said. He looked down the road that the troops had taken. The compound where Mario was being held was in sight - Peach had insisted that they rescued Mario first. Pit rolled his eyes as he reminisced, and turned back to Lucario. "Now we just have to wait for the others..." Lucario nodded, and began to meditate.

Having had been shot down previously, Fox McCloud was admittedly slightly off his game, but he was every bit as tough in the face of adversity as he had ever been.

Holding himself up against the side of a structure with his blaster comfortably in his one paw, he gritted his fangs and allowed his ears and tail to stand at attention. He knew that Lucario had some form of telepathy.

While he didn't understand it, he figured that holding his position would alert the other one to his presence.

Meanwhile Link was trapped in the supposed warehouse for the time being. He wasn't used to this, but did his best to remain as stalwart - and naturally as silent - as he had ever been in order to avoid ultimately panicking and therefore making a bad decision. There had to be some way out of all of this...

...or perhaps Zelda. He could have hoped in spite of what he perceived as a failure on his behalf that she might very well have been well for the time being, and maybe she could have aided him in what would have accounted for a role reversal that wouldn't have been too embarrassing.

While he figured it signified a defeat in his quest to always protect the Hyrulian crown, it also was an illustration of how strong she was in turn as well.

Zelda was in a bush when she heard Pit's voice.
"Pit? What are you doing here?" She asked as she emerged from her hiding spot. She had been scoping out the compound for a bit now, finding weaknesses and ways to get in to get Link out.

Pit turned to where he heard Zelda's voice. He smiled and waved.
"Hey, Zelda. Lucario and I are here to rescue Mario." Lucario waved, and went back to meditating. Pit reclined up against a tree branch, and raised an eyebrow. "And where's Link? Did he get himself into trouble again?"

Ike and Zero Suit Samus were walking down the path that lead towards the compound, the two had spotted it days before and had scoped the whole place out. They knew when the little guards did there rounds, where they went. They even knew where the bathrooms were, which was something Samus saw as stupid as all hell. But what they didn't count on was coming across Pit and Zelda, Ike saw them first and walked towards them. Samus sighed and followed suit, it wasn't that she had anything against the two. It was just that she had worked everything out so well.

Once close enough Ike smiled. "Hey, what you guys do here?"

Having been unsure of how he could have possibly signaled her at all, Link simply remained steady for the time being and taking what lot his imprisonment had apparently given to him. He figured that there was nothing more to do besides staying incredibly strong at the moment.

While he was apparently stuck, Link was mustering what emotional strength he could to avoid the embarrassment of the situation.

Meanwhile, Fox was looking back slowly and doing his best to meet up with Ike, Samus and the others. "I was attempting to secure the premises. Is everything taken care of here?" Of course, being a test pilot, Fox was usually stuck in a rather military sort of mindset, which might have helped to explain away his mannerisms.
