Carrie, startled at first by the gargoyle's attack, regains her composure and fetches her mace - she then dives headlong for the construct, swinging said mace hard and aiming for its weaker-looking joints.

The basement | +: With a screech, the gargoyle advances upon his opponents. The blow from Carelza's mace is deflected off it's stony hide. The beast throws itself upon leera, grasping her in its stony claws. And with a mighty wingbeat, it carries off. Draggin the druid to parts unknown in the darkness near the ceiling.

Embre, seeing its master spirited away, runs off to where its primal mind thinks there to be a way to chase after. And just like that, the room falls silent. With only the hum of the crystals remaining.

The ground floor. | +: With a creacking sound, the door opens. You look into what looks like a warm and well-lit living room. A fireplace in the back corner of the room crackles merrily, and a rather expensive looking set of sofas and hardwood coffe table stand in the center. An odd sort of feeling of safety radiates from the room, nudging you inwards ever so gently.

Carrie saw the gargoyle disappear, frowning. She wasn't fond of letting targets escape, but with the crystal nearby, she had to think about her own safety first. once again, she found cover, scanning the room carefully for anything that might give her a hint as to its nature, so she could excersize the correct amount and form of caution.

Tycho gazed forth into the living room. It seemed strangely welcoming, at least when considering the bizarre things they had seen throughout the rest of the house, which Tycho strongly believed to be some form of magic. He gave an audible sigh, being rather displeased with current events. Crouched down and moving quietly, Tycho advanced into the room.
