Ah, the last day of class before winter break. Sunny was in her final class for the day, taking her final. To be honest, she hadn't really studied the "Artistic History between 1765-1890" because she really just didn't care. On her test she was drawing some abstract flowers, resting her cheek in her hand and sighing. She looked up at the clock.

"7 more minutes." She whispered to herself. A student in the back hissed, "SHH." Sunny snapped backwards and glared at the kid. She turned his eyes back to his paper. Sunny turned back around and then looked at her own. She maybe filled in 3 questions she kind of knew. The rest was blank other than her doodles.

Sunny thought she better just try something, so she just started naming random things. Upon filling in the 5th last question the teacher yelled, "STOP!" Sunny flipped up her paper in the air with a "yaasshhhhaaas." And leaned back. The student behind her cleared his throat. Sunny didn't really care. She grabbed her bag, the paper, and stood up. Shoving through the students who where making their way to the teacher's desk to drop off their final, she threw the paper on the desk, and was out the door.

Robert, on the other hand, was sweating through his final. He had studied a good deal, though his new video game distracted him through the nights he should've been studying. Only 3 minutes to go, and he was tapping away at his paper trying to figure out what "x" meant in his math class. Before he knew it, the final students where handing their finals in. "****." He muttered under his breath and stood up to hand in his also. As he slung on his backpack to head out, he was reminded of the snowboarding trip him and his friends where gonna take. That made him smile a bit. He headed out to head back to his dorm to begin to pack.

Faith

Faith's head was still spinning when she gently closed the door and walked through the hallway. As much as she loved working with numbers, so many of them made her a bit dizzy. She finished and double-checked the test before the time was up, so now all she had to do was wait to meet up with her friends. After insisting a lot, her father had allowed her to go on trip with friends this winter, and she couldn't stop smiling now. This would probably be the most fun she ever had.
She adjusted her hood on her head and tightened her scarf, trying to protect herself from the cold breeze outside the school building. Once out, she sat down on the cold steps and leaned her head forward with her eyes closed. She could almost smell the soft snow and the hot chocolate they would drink in front of the fireplace. She could almost see the smiles on her friend's faces. She was almost there.

Alex

Alex pressed his temples. As much as he tried he couldn't, for the love of God figure out any of the answers on the last page of his test, and he had left enough blanks previously. Nothing that he had read had anything to do with those questions. Although now that he thought about it, he hadn't read all that much... "It's no big deal", he thought to himself. On the very next day, he would have forgotten everything about this stupid test, and this stupid class. Even thinking like this, his forehead was all sweaty, and the room wasn't really that warm. Before he realized it, people were standing up and returning they're tests. His last page was still blank, so he wrote a short apology note to his professor and stood up, his face all red. "There we go", he thought.

Loretta submitted her test and read a book as she waited for the bell to ring. What seemed like hours turned out to be 5 minutes. She loved photography, so the test wasn't hard at all. But the bell rang and she remembered the vacation she was going to go on with a few friends. Winter was almost always bitterly cold, but if she were with some friends, that would make everything better. She walked out and began in the direction of the dorms. Of course, she would have to remember her camera in case she saw anything paranormal.

Blake, in another room, finished his test at the same time the teacher yelled to stop. He turned it in and began to walk out the room to pack his stuff from his dorm. As Blake walked to his dorm, he remembered the awesome ski trip he was going to be a part of. That was going to be awesome. He began packing up some books and clothes, including his winter gear his mother got him. Of course his mom would do that. She was very protective, and never wanted Blake to get hurt.

Waking up in the middle of the night had become a regular occurrence since returning back to the States. But tonight was especially rough, looking down at the side of the bed and seeing Duke made him feel better. Reaching down and scratching his head "It's OK buddy, it was just a dream." Now wide awake, Chase looks at Duke, Duke staring right back at him, tail wagging, in anticipation of the magic words. "You hungry boy?" Dukes tail swinging wildly followed by a slight bark, Chase new it was time to get up. Walking into the kitchen, Chase grabs a cup of dog food and dumps it into Dukes bowl. Looking at the clock, 4:26 a.m. "Almost six hours" he said shaking his head with a chuckle.

Maybe I need to get away for a bit, help clear my head. He thinks to himself as he picks up the paper.Flipping through he notices the leisure activities section. "Looks like they opened the lifts last week, Maybe some snow will do me some good." As Duke places his head on his lap. "Looks like you finished breakfast." "Lets get this day going." Returning to his room, he puts on his sweats, his shoes, and grabs the leash by the front door. "You ready for a run?" he asks with a smile. Duke jumps with excitement. Sticking his head out the front door, feeling the chill, Chase decides to grab his hoodie. "Its getting colder" he said to himself. Setting off for his morning run, Duke by his side.
