Those who come from the stars will look upon humanity. And they will feel fear.

"Alright! Alright! ALRIGHT!" The orange haired boy yelled, punching the space infont of him. He was standing on a glowing blue platform, various information screens floating around him, showing the outside world. The bright blue lines going down the sides of his dark blue jacket and black jeans begun to glow, synching his body movements with the large blue machine he piloted, as its faced was covred by a steal face plate and glowing blue visor. Now, all he had to do was wait.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! WE'VE HAD A GREAT TOURNAMENT THIS PAST WEEK! AND IT'S DONE TO THIS, THE BEST TWO FIGHTERS WE'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME!"

The orange haired boy smirked. Yeah, he was great. He didn't watch any of his opponents fights, due to wanting to be surprised, but if he made it to the finals, he must have some skill.

"IN THIS SIDE OF THE ARENA, THE BLAZING BLUE FLARE, ALEXAAAAAAAAAANDER"

"LET'S PARTY!"

The thrusters of the blue machine flare to life, as he blasted out of the entrance to the arena. His blast took him to the sky, where he did a spin in the air, landing with a punch to the ground. He stood up, crossing his machine arm's, letting every one get a view of it's blue figure.

It was rather simple. A base humanoid body with a blue torso and limbs, with extra armor over the lower legs and fore arms. Besides that, it was pretty much unarmored. It's head was covered in a blue helmet with two blue disk on it's side, going behind and out from the head in two small spikes, possibly antennae of some sort.

"AND IN THIS SIDE! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANCE KYOSUKI!"

From the opposite side of the arena, the loud roars of mecha-sized engines filled the air. Three bright blue lights shone from the shadows, the machine's eyes and what appeared to be a headlight. Another roar tore through the arena, and from the platform, a white mecha riding an enormous motorcycle shot out.

The machine was sleek, but not overly smooth, of average size and build. The main body of the machine was a matte grey, poking through on the neck, biceps, hands, and thighs of the robot. The lower legs and arms, chest, shoulders, and head were all encased in shiny white armour. The shoulders were flat on the top, and had an inverted triangular appearance viewed from the front. The chestplate had a blue circle over the center of the robot's torso, with vents both next to it and on the robot's shoulder blades. The helmet was rounded, revealing the machine's face, and had a simple crest that looked like it could be retracted.

The motorcycle itself was made of the same white metal as the robot's armour. Its massive wheels tore across the ground, and when the mech turned, spun fast enough to seemingly defy gravity as the machine left the ground and began driving around the arena walls.

The pilot, Rance, could be heard laughing and cheering along with the audience. After three circlings of the arena, the motorcycle lifted off and landed in front of Alexander's machine. The mech atop it pointed at him, and inside the cockpit, Rance confidently smiled.

"Hey! You and me, we're the best here, so let's give these people a show!" He shouted, pointing at the audience next. As he moved the mech's arm down the rows of onlookers, their cheers intensified. The machine stood, and the motorcycle drove itself out of the way, towards the arena wall. The mech, named Keizer, stood confidently, once again pointing at Alexander's machine.

"Okay, let's dance!"

Alexander watched his opponent showing off, driving around the arena....while laughing and clapping his hands. He stopped once the little "show' did, catching his breath.

"Hey, I'm not here to put on a show." He called out, raising in arms in a "oh well" gesture. "I'm here to get a good fight! So if you want what you want, better give me what I want!"

And with that, he jumped into an air, spun around....and shot off his Machine's forearms, which zipped around the arena, propelled by rockets.

"And for my NEXT trick!"

He raised up a leg, activating thrusters on the back of his feet, kicking downwards....and kept on going, spinning around like a wheel, the speed of the thrusters kicking up until it was just a circular blue blur, which shot its self at Keizer. It was fairly obvious he was being truthful when he said he wasn't gonna brother putting on a show, but the way he fight kind of meant one came anyways.

"Fine with me! COME ON!" Rance shouted, breaking Keizer's pose once Alexander's machine began its spin attack. Keizer's hands went in front of him, and with luck, would grab onto the enemy mech's foot before it impacted. The motorcycle began circling the arena again on its own accord, avoiding any potential crossfire from the fight.

His timing came out right, and he caught the other mech by the ankle and bottom of its foot. With a strong upward push, he attempted to flip it in the opposite direction, then followed up by leaping from the ground and trying to roundhouse kick it.

Keizer's forearms shifted around slightly, and from the inner arms, a pair of standard plasma blasters emerged from each arm. Both were pointed at the machine ahead of him, and both guns began firing rapidly. The way they functioned created bullets of energy by containing the plasma in a pointed shape, but didn't actually harden it into a kinetic projectile.

Despite the flashiness, he wasn't paying much mind to the flying forearms. Probably a mistake!

"AH CRAP OW." Alexander grunted, as the roundhouse kick caused him to bounce and skid along the ground. Two things happen then.

The two flying fists slammed into Keizer's side, and Keizer opened fire. "Block them!" Alexander order, the fists return to him, punching the energy bullets out of the way, before reattaching themselves to him. "Fine, long range you want, long range you GET!" He yelled, a sphere of bright blue energy forming in his hand, blasting out in a beam.

Raising his other hand forwards, it begun to glow with a similar blue light, as it fired smaller sphere of energy at Kiezer's sides. "Let' hope we can't block this one too long...." Alexander thought to him self, noticing his legs beginning to shake. "Maybe I didn't think this through..." He gulped. While it was true the attacks were quite powerful, Alexander....wasn't quite at the level were using two energy attacks at once was a good idea. That's why he had to stop the attacks soon after, hoping they did SOMETHING to his opponent. "Alright, enough of this! Let's do this RIGHT!" He yelled, dashing forward in a zig zag, throwing a punch once he got close.

Keizer was sent flying off-balance through the air by the punches, cartwheeling out of the sky and into the ground. He landed in a heap, but quickly rolled and got onto his knees, pointing his arms forward again. He was about to start shooting when he saw the beam coming at him, and instead of immediately attacking, he ducked under it, essentially laying down with his knees bent backward.

He did manage to actually counter the smaller spheres, blasting a couple out of the air with his plasma bullets, but a couple hit him as he stood up and made him stagger. Burns coated the places of impact on Keizer's chassis, screwing with the cockpit's HUD for a few seconds. "Gah, damn it, you got me!" Rance said, tightening his grip on the controls.

Just as he managed to get ready to fight again, the fist of Alexander's mech impacted Keizer's face, denting the machine's helmet. He staggered again, but instead of falling, recovered with another kick. It was aimed at the machine's head, and thus could be dodged with a quick duck. Since Keizer's boosters were on the backs of its legs, they weren't used to increase the kick's impact.

But the kick was not dodged! Instead, it was grabbed, "Round and round and ROUND WE GO!" Alexander roared, spinning Keizer around, throwing him into the wall opposite of them.

He dashed forward, timing it just right so he would be in range as soon as Kiezer hit the wall, and...

"ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!"

Alexander, through he was putting effort into his punches, stood on guard. Something was amiss, Rance didn't seem to be going all out. Was he? Nothing he had pulled out seemed very "finalist" worthy. Okay, catching his spin and shooting some of his energy attacks out of the air were something that took some damn good skill to pull off.

Other men would smile, thinking that those were mistakes and that victory was ensured. Alexander?

He smiled because he knew the fun hadn't even started yet.

"BWOAHSHIT!" Rance shouted in surprise, getting flung around in the cockpit as Keizer was spun. Once released, he attempted to stabilize himself with booster usage, but only succeeded in landing back-first in the wall.

He embedded into it, cracks appearing around the point of impact, and the following flurry of punches from Alexander's machine forced him in deeper. The cracks grew and split, stones falling from the wall as Rance's chestplate dented more and more beneath every punch.

Rance grunted, a bit shaken up by the impact, and smirked beneath his helmet. "Okay, time to go all out!" He said, slamming his fist into a large button on his cockpit's dashboard. A few meters around him filled up, and a feminine electronic voice spoke through a pair of speakers behind his seat's headrest.

"Activating armour form: Swordmaster."

The motorcycle picked up speed immensely, and since it was still circling the arena, would slam into Alexander's mech with enough force to launch it away in the direction it was driving. Keizer forced its way out of the now-deep mecha shaped crater in the wall, a cloud of dust and pebbles falling off his back. The motorcycle kept driving, but after a few dozen feet, split in half. The front continued its way out of the arena, and the back end pulled a wheelie and approached Keizer.

Keizer jumped, and the motorcycle's rear end split. Its plating flew through the air, each piece surrounded by a cloud of blue electric-looking sparks, which arced off the machine's parts and onto areas of Keizer's body. The motorcycle's footrests attached first, beneath Keizer's actual feet, and plates of metal unfolded over the lower legs, giving them a blockier, more armoured appearance. The seat area attached to the back, and around Keizer's waist and hips, metal plating unfolded, leaving only the blue orb revealed. More plates unfolded over the neck, giving the chest a raised collar, while layers of metal attached to the shoulder pads, which now extended to cover the biceps. Gauntlets slid over Keizer's hands and forearms, the shape also layered, while a few more hanging plates covered the machine's hips and thighs. Finally, the wheel attached to the back, and a helmet formed from various plates landed atop Keizer's head. From the helmet, a mouthplate emerged from either cheek, covering Keizer's lower face.

A pair of sheaths, attached to the mech's waist, swung forward. Ignoring those for now, Keizer crossed his arms over his chest, then sent them outward. A long rail emerged from either, and blue plasma began to form and harden. The plasma took the shape of enormous chainsaws, each one glowing bright blue.

Rance cracked his neck and took a deep breath, readying himself for a more even-footed battle. The added armour gave Keizer some protection, and the more diverse weaponry would aid him greatly. In addition, the presence of two cores, one from the motorcycle and one from the mech itself, gave a nice boost to Keizer's overall power level.

Things were about to heat up.

"...Yeah." Alexander muttered, standing up from the motorcycle's assault. "YEAH..." He smiled, running in front of Kiezer, smiling at the new form.

"THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!"

His forearms begun to spin around, blue whirlwind like energy forming around them. "NOW THIS IS A PARTY!" He roared, jumping up into the sky.

"SPINNING! BLASTING! PUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!"

The forearms shut forwards, this time with enough force to distort the air around the connection of the arms. Even if they were blocked, they would still make a pretty bad dent!

He landed, his machine's mouth plate sliding back into the helmet. His visor begun to glow brighter.

And then two blue beams shout out from both mouth and visor. "COME OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!" Alexander yelled, laughing like a crazed person. This! THIS! This is what he was waiting for!

Rance felt himself smiling too, and when Alexander's machine leaped, so did Keizer. "CHAINSAW TORNADOOOOOO!" He yelled, extending Keizer's arms outward. A few boosters on his armour sent the machine into a rapid spin, a blur of white and cyan that moved faster than most people could keep up with.

One of the rocket punches managed to hit him past the spin, knocking Keizer's head around a bit and sending the 'tornado' into an off-balanced path. The second punch was deflected by one of the rapidly-revving saws, but the speed both were moving at likely prevented it from actually being torn apart. Deflected and likely damaged, but not destroyed.

Keizer continued its approach, stabilizing once again, and tore through the beams shot from the other machine's face. Their non-solid nature gave way to the hardened plasma of the saws, and the white-armoured mecha kept moving forward. The spin ended just as the beam firing did, however, making the attack essentially little more than a defensive maneuver.

"Ah, damn it, made me waste all that energy for nothing! YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR THAT!" Rance shouted, sending Keizer barreling full speed at the other mech. He swung both of the energy saws at the machine's shoulders and chest, avoiding the cockpit, but viciously attempting to shred his armour plating.

The mobile sheaths on his waist both moved back, blue meters beginning to glow on either side. The handles of the swords within retracted slightly, then shot outward as projectiles. Both swords were large, forged metal blades, taking the shape of a single-edged straight sword. There was barely any curve to either, though the handles were still modeled after a katana. The blades would impact Alexander's mech in the shoulders if he didn't dodge, and either way, Keizer would be given some space. His saws retracted for now, and he caught both swords out of the air. Initially, they were both backhanded, but he stylishly flipped them around so he was holding them properly.

One of the machine's arms snapped back onto the machine, as he threw it up to block the chainsaws, kicking the second chainsaw out of the way. The saw cut into it deep, but it were still holding up fine.

And when the swords shot of their holsters, Alexander smirked knowing he had a clear shot. He called back the other hand, while twisting his body to dodge one of the blades. The other hand returned, locking back into place, as he tried to grab the sword.

Problem with this was the fact t was the damaged arm he tried it with. The sword teared into it, before slamming into the sturdier upper armor, the force of which actually made Alexander trip backwards and fall onto the ground. He activated his machine's thrusters, dragging the machine across the ground, trying to get some distance. "Hehehehe! Hahahaha! You're a jerk, you know that?"" He told Rance, as he stood up, his machine gripping what of left of it's other arm.

"Why won't you fighting like this when we started!?" He asked, snapping his fingers before pointing at Rance, bending down and backwards at the waist.

Rance laughed, holding Keizer's arms out to the side as he took a step forward. "I try!" He said, lowering his arms again and flipping one of his swords around. "And because I haven't had to yet. You're a hell of a lot better than everyone else here, so you get the full package!" Keizer took on a fighting stance, bending his knees and parting his feet slightly, one sword held more in front of him than the other.

He took a moment to look over the subtle movements of Alexander's machine, and when he was sure the fight was about to continue, he rushed forward, holding his blades off to his sides. As he drew closer, he spun around, slashing at the other mecha's elbows and waist. That was followed up with a double-blade uppercut, accompanied with another spin, and then a flurry of strikes alternating between both swords. With every strike, the metal edges of the blades glowed blue, suggesting a sort of plasma generation to increase their cutting power.

Despite the speediness of the strikes, they were all well-aimed, mostly at joints. The whole time he was attacking, Rance could be heard laughing gleefully. This was the most fun he'd had so far, and he was confident that he could win this.

"Crap crap crap." Alexander muttered, focusing everything he had into dodging. His only remaining arm was pretty beaten up, so he was unsure if punching with it would be wise. On the other hand, his legs were in perfect shape. But, his skills in kicking wasn't all that up to snuff!

"Do I have rocket kicks? I.... I want rocket kicks."

He lifted a leg, kicking away one of the swords. Maybe not out of Keizer's hands, but away from him, which was key. He swung the leg a bit forward, right in front of Keizer's chest, as the leg and bottom half of the lower leg shot forward, slamming the sword using machine backwards. "THERE WE GO! I wonder why I've never used that before." He wonder, as the leg reattached it's self.

He broke into a run, doing a flying spin kick to knock away one of Keizer's swords. Doing a kick off of it as soon as he did it, he spun in the air, landed infront of Keizer, and grabbed it's arm, pinning it against his own side. "I think this party is almost over!" He informed once...forgetting about the fact of plasma saws.

"Rocket kicks? What th- GAH **** WHAT." Rance was taken by surprise when Keizer's sword was knocked away, and even more so when the leg of the mech he was fighting removed itself and sent him flying. Keizer dropped one sword, which clanked away on the arena floor, and barely recovered using the other one after a few seconds of tumbling.

Right as he stood again, his other sword was knocked away, and his arm was taken and pinned. Rance grunted and tried to wrench himself out of it, to no avail. He was trapped!

But not for long. Alexander's comment got a response out of Rance, starting with an exasperated laugh. "Not quite!" He said, slamming the control for his pinned arm's plasma saw. The rail shot out, piercing the other mech's midsection, and the plasma quickly formed and hardened within. Rance began revving the saw intensely, trying to bisect Alexander's machine at the waist.

While doing this, he was wide open to any potential counters. His head, in particular, had taken a lot of hits and was pretty badly damaged.

For most machines, getting stabbed through the midsection would be bad, even if it didn't cut it in half.

It didn't seem to do anything to Alexander's machine, and it was questionable if Alexander even realized it had happened. He pulled his fist back, slamming it Keizer's head.

He did it again.

And again and again and again.

He kicked the other machine in the stomach, and to finish it off....

"BLAZING! BLUE! BURST PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!"

His remaining hand burst into flames, as he drew back his his arm and slammed it into Keizer's chest, the force of it creating ripples in the air. And probably throwing Keizer waaaaaaaay back. "ALRIGHT! YOU WANT ANY MORE? COME AND GET IT?" Alexander roared, a fire burning in his eyes, a flame blazing in his heart and body, like they were filled with nothing but gasoline.

Keizer's helmet gave way beneath the force of the punch, knocking it clean off and breaking the faceplate. Each subsequent punch hit Keizer's bare head, and after three strikes, the chainsaw stopped revving. The plasma that made up the blade began dissipating, a cloud of blue coming from the hole in the midsection of Alexander's machine. The rail didn't retract, but it was clearly obvious that with each strike, more of the white robot's systems began failing.

"Come on, come on! Don't you fail me now!" Rance said, trying desperately to move Keizer's limbs. He limpy raised his un-pinned arm, but after a few seconds, it fell back down to his side. About a dozen 'systems failing' messages appeared on his HUD, and the lighting in the cockpit flickered. He could do nothing but stand and brace for impact when the finishing move was made.

Keizer's chestplate cracked, and the force of the punch launched him across the arena and into the wall again. He slammed into it hard enough to break a good amount of the stone away, and the barrier around the arena that protected the audience from the mechs flickered. Keizer's eyes faded, as did the light on its chest, as its power went completely out.

Rance sat in the cockpit, hunched over the controls silently. He was still gripping them tightly, but no longer moving them. For about half a minute, he remained still, taking slow, deep breaths. He finally moved in a few quick motions, removing his seatbelt, kicking open the cockpit, and stepping out of Keizer's torso. His pilot suit was a bit flamboyant, but stylish. A somewhat tight black undersuit paired with a high-collared and somewhat long white jacket with matching boots and gloves, as well as a white helmet with a blue, enlongated triangular visor, made him stand out quite a bit.

He grabbed the sides of said helmet and pulled it off, revealing himself to be a pretty young man of mostly-Japanese descent. His blonde hair suggested mixed heritage of some sort. His eyes were very obviously artificial, with slightly too-white sclera and grey-blue irises. His pupils resembled a camera aperture, and had some small inscriptions on them that were too small to read.

"HEY! LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE NEW CHAMPION!" He shouted, urging the audience to cheer. They complied, and he clapped alongside them, a large smile crossing his face. He took the loss incredibly well. Second place victory still had a pretty good prize, after all.

"Oh thank God." Alexander said, his bravado fading as his mean stumbled, getting down on it's knees. Through he offered, he....didn't have much more to give. If that punched didn't work, Alexander was screwed.

The cockpit of his machine opened, and he...jumped out, landing on the ground without any pain hitting his legs. He raised up his hands, waving tot he audience with a smirk, the blue lines on his jacket and pants stepping their glow, revealing them to just be light blue lines! HE walked over to Rance, cover in sweat, but smiling...but gripping his arm, laying the arm he was gripping with over his stomach as well.

When he was face to face with his opponent, he didn't say anything, just smiled and shaking his hand. Through it was obvious he was tired as hell, he was also satisfied as well. "That was SO ****ing FUN!" He squeed, jumping up and down. "I HAVEN'T HAD A FIGHT LIKE THAT IN FOREVER!" He told Rance.

Through he only looked a year or so younger than rance, it was obvious that the guy was just a little kid at heart. An...incredibly violent and battle hungry kid. But a kid all the same!

"I...oh! Guess I should introduce myself! I'm Alexander! No real last name, but I use Jones when I have to use one! So Alexander Jones! Nice to meet you, and MAN THAT FIGHT WAS AWESOME."

Leaving his helmet in the cockpit, Rance made his way down Keizer's torso, sitting down and sliding off his leg to get to the ground. He turned, giving his machine a quick look. "Well, we tried. Can't say we didn't make it far," He said to the inactive mech. "Try not to be too much of a hassle to the repair guys."

When Alexander got closer, Rance extended his hand for the shake. He couldn't help but let out a laugh at the other pilot's reaction. "Damn right it was! Made all the other fights I was in look like sparring practice. Nice to meet ya, my name's Rance." He was friendly, and while he definitely sounded winded and slightly pained, there was a tone of still-there adrenaline fueled excitement to his voice.

"Guess we should get off the field, huh? The cleanup crew's gonna be coming in, wouldn't wanna get stepped on." Rance turned to an opening door, and as if on cue, a group of people piloting small, blocky, and barely-humanoid machines stepped into the arena. At first, they focused on removing bits of broken metal and lost weapons from the field. Two each carried Keizer's swords back to its preparation chamber.

"I got sucked up into a cleaner once. They were able to get me out in time before the painful part came in, so it was kind of fun!" He told Rance, remembering how it kind of trickled.

When the two walked out of the arena, and out of sight....Alexander's machine just popped out of existence, causing the mechanic who was climbing up it to fall onto his bottom, the rest of them cleaning up freaking out!

---

"So, what's the deal with the bike?" Alexander asked. "I mean, those tricks you did with it were rad, don't get me wrong! But, like, a robot riding a bike is weird. But awesome!" He clarified, adding some "vroom vroom" noises.

He kind of wanted to to ask about Rance's eyes and all of those ports on him, but that seemed a bit rude. Was it? He had no idea! But....well, if he wanted to hide him, he could!...Probably.

"So what's with your eyes? And all of those ports? Some kind of...cyborg? IS that what they're called?"

"Oh man, that musta been weird. I sure as heck wouldn't wanna get caught in one of those things, it'd mess with my head pretty bad." Rance wasn't talking about the inevitable motion sickness that would come from getting tossed around in one of the arena cleaners, but the electrical interference inside would be unpleasant, considering all his non-organic bits.

---

"Oh, that thing? Keizer's had it since he was built, it was a special gift from the guy who made him." He laughed a bit at the sounds Alexander made, then continued. "See, that bike's got four 'back' parts. Notice how the front just kinda kept driving around when the back combined with Keizer? Can't use that just yet, probably not gonna. Anywho, the back parts are exchangable, each can either go on the bike of the robot. Only brought that one for this tourney, though. Couldn't fit the storage through the doors."

At the inquiry about his augments, he nodded. "Yep, have been for quiiite a while now. Used to it now, but it was weird as hell the first couple years." He lifted his arm, showing off the ports on his wrists, shoulders, and biceps a bit better. "These things let me plug into my suit, which is connected to Keizer's optical bits and other stuff like that. Helps me move him more precisely, not exactly on the level of mirror-motion control schemes, but everything's more fluid than when I'm not wearing the costume."

He wasn't offended by the question, and had answered it a few times before, so he was all good with explaining. Plus, he thought his connection to his suit and robot were cool enough to share!
