Kasumi could feel her body relax more and more as the kissing continued. It felt nice, but she soon felt herself freeze as she was pulled to the bed. This experience was nice, but oh so new to her that she just did not know what to do anymore. When he pulled away, she could feel herself take in a deep breath, realizing that she had not been breathing all to well during the kissing. Kasumi listened to the other, and hid her face more and more. "I'm sorry.. I know..." She began. ".. acutally I really don't know and that is why I am always worried...." She admitted, continuing to hide her face from both Shiro and the moon.

Shiro placed his hands on Kasumi's cheeks and pulled her face into the light. "Don't be sorry, it is okay to worry. You're still readjusting to your new life here. Don't be so crucial on yourself for the decisions you make right now. Part of you is still rationalizing everything undoubtedly." Shiro said kindly to her. Shiro put his finger inside Kasumi's hair and twirled it around.

Kasumi, though not looking, could feel warm fingers cup her cheeks. She could feel herself being pulled, her heart panicking a little. The girl did not want him to see her face when she had not been helpful at all in anything.What he said was true, and she began to feel comfort from his words. Her expression still showed signs of worry and apology, but she tried smiling at least a little bit. She soon felt the warmth from one of her cheeks leave, and she could see him playing with her hair. Her blush formed once more and she felt a bit shy. "ok.."

"Thank you Kasumi, you'll get adjusted well here. Just keep your focus and wits and you'll know this place as if you were a native." Shiro said happily. Shiro sat up, resulting in Kasumi sitting on his lap. The moonlight no longer shone on Shiro's face, but he could still se it on Kasumi's. He smiled and kissed Kasumi one last time. "It is getting late darling. You must rest and regain your strength." Shiro said after the kiss.

Kasumi nodded her head, though she was still not quite sure of herself. He was right, that she just needed to take time and adjust to it here. She was glad that she finally opened up about her own worries. Now she would be able to have help. While she was thinking was when he sat up, causing a small gasp of surprise to come from her lips. She continued her light blush, and looked up into the other's eyes. She soon felt the familiar warmth on her lips from his kiss, this time she was more prepared and accepted it more willingly. When he released and spoke, she nodded her head in agreeance. "okay, but I promised that I would make sure you went to bed." Kasumi stated.

"Oh no need to worry about me. I will get my rest dear, and you should too. I promise I will not be roaming the halls of the castle tonight. I give you my word as the prince of the white phoenix nation." Shiro kindly stated. He rubbed his hand against her cheek gently. Seeing Kasumi beginning to relax made Shiro feel relieved. He could tell that she was beginning to adjust to everything. "Make sure not to stay up too late dear. I am quite the early bird." He said to her.

Kasumi looked at him with some suspicion. since she did not know if that was true or not, she did not push the matter and nodded her head. "If you say you are not...' She stated and smiled. with his hand rubbing against her skin she could feel her heart flutter, but her body relax. "I won't stay up... I'm actually quite tired myself." She admitted. "Then I shall leave." She stated, making her way to get up from his lap.

"Sleep well Kasumi, good night dear." Shiro said as she got up. Shiro rolled over to the center of his bed and wrapped up in his blanket. It hadn't even been a few seconds when he heard a flute being played. The sound was coming from outside, and Shiro knew who it was. The sound of the flute seemed to draw Kasumi to the glass doors that led out to the balcony. "Kasumi gather your thoughts now." He stated firmly. Shiro got out of his bed immediately.

Kasumi stood up and began to walk towards the door when she heard a flute playing. It was very sweet to her ears, and to her curiosity. She turned and started walking to the door, finding no harm in wanting to know who or what the sound was coming from. It was only until she heard Shiro that she managed to somewhat snap out of it. "Huh? what do you mean?" She asked still looking out and heading towards it.

Shiro held kasumi as he opened the doors. "How rude of you mixing your mental powers in with the air to hypnotize my fiancee. This entire time I thought we had more honor than that Kanpeki." Suddenly nine tails grabbed onto the balcony and pulled up the unseen kyuubi. He seemed to resemble Shiro in an odd way. His nine tails seemed different from the sisters Kasumi had met earlier. She could feel the power flowing off of his body. "Hello Shiro, I must admit that you picked a very fitting wife for yourself." Although he spoke calmly, there was some type of coldness in his voice.

Finally she snapped out of it completely when she felt him hold on to her. She looked up at him and then back towards the door, not quite sure of what was going on. Kasumi had not realized that she had been hypnotized which only caused her cheeks to go dark in embarrassment. Finally she met the gaze of the one that had been the cause to the flute playing. She was surprised to see the infamous Kanpeki so soon, and was curious once more as to what was going on. "Why?..." She began to question, unable to decide how to word how she was feeling.

"I heard that Shiro's wife had arrived here in Yokai. When I heard I simply had to see you for myself. I figured Shiro wouldn't pick some imperfect creature and I'm glad to see I was correct as always." The kyuubi said. He talked similar to Lox, but there was emotion behind his words unlike Lox. There was fire and ambition in his eyes and even in his voice. "Anyway I am Kanpeki Ura, the future kami no kitsune of Yokai. I'm sure you have met my sisters." Kanpeki said looking Kasumi directly in her eyes. Shiro stood by silently smiling as the two of them spoke.

Kasumi blushed lightly at the other's words, but she was still rather confused with this character. She continued to listen to what the other had to say, trying to figure out this person. "I would not say I was perfect..." She stated, not really liking being called a 'perfect' person. She soon tilted her head with confusion with him mentioning 'Kami no Kitsune'. "Oh!" She realized his relation. "Yes! They were very kind to me. They even gave me this dress." She stated showing her skirt. She smiled glad that she understood a little bit more.

Kanpeki looked at the dress Kasumi was wearing. "Yes it matches you perfectly. I'm not sure if Shiro is deserving of such a wife like yourself. How you be my bride and experience true happiness." Kanpeki stated calm but firmly. Shiro glared at Kanpeki with anger and frustration. Kanpeki noticed and began to laugh. "Relax Shiro, it was only a mere joke. But surely you are aware that there will be others who are more serious than I am. Some will even try to kidnap or brainwash her. If I were you I'd keep her somewhere safe until the day you two are married. Which reminds me, I hear that you got into a little skirmish with the bat clan." Kanpeki said to Shiro.

Kasumi, at first, smiled with pride as the other commented on the dress. It was soon after, however, when her smile faded and her cheeks turned red. She held her hands to her face in an attempt to hide her blush. "Oh, I.." she began, not realizing at first how Shiro was reacting to all of this. Finally she heard that it was a joke, and it caused relief to her. Kasumi released her bated breath and looked back and forth between Kanpeki and Shiro. She thought about what Kanpeki said and realized that she might end up having to stay in the castle. Her face showed obvious worry.

Shiro let out all of his emotions in a single sigh. "She will not have to stay in this castle like some slave. My dear Kasumi will never be without me by her side. And yes I got into a little skirmish with the bat clan. It got handled rather quickly though." Shiro said calmly. Kanpeki smirked in response to his last statement. "You know their leader wants you dead right. I also hear he wants little miss Kasumi to be his personal treat. Such ugly and imperfect creatures don't deserve to even speak such things." Kanpeki said sounding annoyed. He seemed to be more upset about the situation then Shiro was.

Kasumi felt relieved almost instantly with him allowing her to be able to explore. Her worry only returned when she noticed a smirk come upon Kanpeki's face. She scowled at the thought of being someone else's 'treat' not really liking or really knowing what that would be like. "Is... that true?" Kasumi asked towards Shiro. SHe did notice how upset Kanpeki was, and was rather confused.

"It is not something you should worry about. The bats can be a bit clever sometimes but they are much more weaker than myself. I'll always be here to protect you Kasumi. And Lox likes you too, so you have nothing to worry about." Shiro said confidently Kanpeki hopped on the balcony bars while still facing Shiro and Kasumi. "It has been quite the pleasure meeting you Kasumi. I'll see the two of you tomorrow. Goodbye and goodnight Shiro and Kasumi." Kanpeki said to the two of them. Kanpeki jumped off the balcony calmly. Shiro placed his arm around Kasumi and escorted her back inside.

Despite his talking she still had some concern in her thinking. Instead of continuing on, however, she decided to not press the subject. Kasumi was confused as to whether or not Lox really did like her since she did not ever see much expression coming from him, but was glad to know that she was making friends so easily. Before she realized it Kanpeki was leaving causing her to snap out of her thought process. "O-oh, goodnight!" She called back to him as he jumped off the balcony. Her heart still skipped a beat seeing someone jump from such a height, but quickly threw it to the back of her mind when she realized that he was more than likely okay. She soon felt a warmth around her, and could feel herself being led back to the inside. She let out a sigh, not sure of how to take all that has happened, but soon smiled. "He seems nice." She stated trying to strike conversation.

Shiro smiled as he closed the door behind him. He was glad the Kanpeki had stopped by to meet Kasumi. In all honesty Kanpeki and Lox were his best friends despite Kanpeki being his rival. The rivalry was mostly about who was better than who, rather than them not liking each other. "Yes Kanpeki talks as if he is better than other people but he's really misunderstood. He pushed himself really hard to master his nine tails, and as a result he really lacks social skills. All he needs is some friends, or maybe the right girl to come along level him out." Shiro said as he turned back to Kasumi. "Well I must get some rest now. I have to be up in the morning for our spar. Please sleep well and feel free to wake me up for any reason." Shiro said to Kasumi.
