Kasumi had just finished a day of work and a busy schedule, keeping her happy and occupied. It had been a while since she had a couple of minutes for herself and decided to go to the store to buy some foods. After buying all the food that she needed, she headed back to her place, having long since moved out of her family home. She turned a corner and began walking through a park. While walking through she paused and noticed something that was rather odd. It was a White bird that she had never seen before, and.... it was looking at her.

Shiro looked at Kasumi with such an eager face. He began flapping his wings elegantly and gestured as if he wanted her to stay right where she was. Today was the day he was allowed to bring the chosen one to Yokai. Shiro had watched kasumi for quite some time, which was unusual for this occasion. Shito wanted his bride to be more elegant and beautiful than any other human female who had ever been to Yokai. Shiro transformed into his human shape, but left his horn hidden for the time being. He approached Kasumi and stuck his hand out

Kasumi's arms dropped most of what she had, an overwhelming feeling coming over her. 'what was this?....' she thought, and then realized more and more. 'oh no.... not again.....' she thought desperately. She had just got herself normal and was settled in life. Her eyes went more wide as she watched the Bird transform into, what she thought, a very beautiful man. Despite the situation, she had but little ability to move. She looked at the hand with caution, not knowing what this all meant to her. She thought like all the little spirits she had seen while growing up, they would disappear if she attempted to even touch them. She shyly stretched forth her own hand, but did not grab for his.

Shiro smiled gently at Kasumi. "Do not be afraid, I am not here to hurt you." Shiro's voice was gentle and soothing and serene. He had a very beautiful voice which seemed to resonate with the air. His movements matched up perfectly with his voice. Shiro was an elegant being to say the very least, and he knew Kasumi was too. He felt as if he had a deep understanding of her.

SHe looked at the beautiful face searchingly, wondering what his intentions were in the first place. "Th-then what are you here for?" She asked her hand only extending a little more, her fingertips barely touching his. It wa then that she realized how real this person was. She could feel her heart beat quicken and knew that she wasn't crazy for once. She wondered, however, whether or not there was anyone around that might think her strange... just like before.

Shiro gently touched hands with Kasumi. "I am here to take you to my land. I know you have been sensitive to those from my world. I can feel it vibrating from your very soul." Shiro stepped a bit closer to Kasumi. "Please take my hand, and come to meet you're true destiny"

Kasumi felt his touch more so, and realized fully what this meant. Kasumi looked back away from him for just a split moment to see if any other person was around. Since seeing no one else, she was both relieved and worried. She perked and looked back at him when he mentioned 'destiny' and thought it more curious. Maybe.... maybe she would be able to find out why she was able to see strange things and others could not. Maybe she will not feel so different any more. . . . after another pause, she finally took his hand, still hesitant to even trust this . . .. person?

Shiro held Kasumi close to him and she could feel his warm body. Suddenly things started turning brighter and brighter. Eventually it built up to a complete white out. Kasumi could still feel Shiro holding her, but things around her seemed to be different. When the white out ended Kasumi was in front of a large castle. The skies looked more colorful somehow. "Welcome to the land of Yokai. This is my castle Atsui nensho-jo." Shiro's skin nearly seemed to be glowing a beautiful white light which outlined his frame.

Kasumi blushed as she could feel herself be close to him. She had never been this close to a man... mainly because they were to frightened by her odd personality. once the light started becoming brighter and brighter. With each increase, her eyes began to shut more and more before she completely closed her eyes shut, trying to not be blinded by the light. When she felt like things were normal she opened her eyes. It was slow at first, but upon seeing the castle her eyes shot open, and then looked at him. "Y-your castle?!" She asked with shock and almost wanted to push away from him completely. It felt like a dream, . . . .a rather cruel dream.

A slight frown cut across Shiro's face. "Is it not up to your standards? I have grown a bit tired of this place. Would you rather go explore the city? There are many different kinds of people here, mainly phoenixes." A man with long black hair and a sword in its sheath appeared behind Shiro suddenly. "Welcome back prince Shiro, you are back much quicker than normally." The man bowed his head towards Kasumi. "A pleasure to meet you, I hope you find everything okay here." Shiro had such a dismal look on his face when he looked at the man. "Don't be so fast to spoil her with all the royal tendencies Lox. Kasumi this is my dear friend Lox, and Lox this is Kasumi, hopefully my future bride."

"N-no I don't mean..." she began, not saying that a castle isn't decent enough, but stopped herself when another man appeared. Kasumi jumped slightly at the sudden appearance of another person, and tried her best to calm her heart rate. The girl looked back and forth between the two, keeping up with their conversation, only to bow her head back to be polite towards the other. "Nice meet you..." She began bt caught the last part. "Your wife?!" She exclaimed in surprise, even pushing away from him at that moment. her heart was racing and her cheeks were deep red. "I-I don't even know you!" She exclaimed, not trying to be rude but out of pure surprise.

Shiro looked at Kasumi as his gentle smile returned to his face. "There is time to know me before the decision is made. I have been observing you for a while, I know some things about you. Not to sound like some type of perverted lunatic, I always respected you're privacy as a lady. But I had to be sure that you were the perfect match for me." Shiro took Kasumi by the hand again. "Please understand that I truly want you to stay here in Yokai as my bride. There is an entire world that we could explore and learn about together. Nobody here will call you weird or strange either. Please consider my offer at the very least." Shiro's warmth began to channel into Kasumi through her hand, making her body feel a soothing sensation.

Her face still showed shock and even some concern. She had been observed for a while?..... "perfect match?...." She trailed off. She listened to the other, still very troubled by what has gone on. She was in a new place, with new faces and new turns of events. It was exciting to know that she was not crazy after all, and it was a comfort that she could feel coming from the other. "b-but I..." She began to protest and even looked towards lox for help, but realized quickly how silly that was of her. ".... I guess I could stay for a bit..." she stated feeling the soothing sensation fill her body.

"Wonderful, I am very happy to hear you say that. I promise you will love it here after you adjust." Lox tapped Shiro on his shoulder. "Yes Lox? I feel as if you are about to remind me of something." Lox nodded his head. "You have to get her ready for the dinner with the king tonight. It is in a couple of hours, and the entire kingdom knows how long it takes you to prepare." Shiro laughed and turned back to Kasumi. "Come with us, we will escort you to your room. That is, if you are ready of course." Everything about Shiro was gentle and calming, from his voice to the gestures he made. Even his face and skin seemed very elegant.

Kiriko blushed and felt rather timid at the moment. It only took a few moments before she realized everything/ "w-wait the king? i-I um..." she felt very underrated at the moment as though it were too many things at once. It was hard not for her to trust him, and it was as though she was naturally drawn here. "I'm not sure..." she stated not really feeing sure of the whole thing. Any women would have fallen for Shiro, and even the man named lox.

Shiro laughed at Kasumi's response. "Well at least come with me to your room. I cannot just leave you out here alone. It wouldn't do me any justice as a gentleman to leave the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on out here by herself." Shiro smiled and turned towards the castle. "Please come my dear Kasumi and rest your body and mind for a moment." Lox lead the way inside, but Shiro didn't move yet. He was waiting on Kasumi to walk by his side.

She felt even more bashful as he laughed at her response. Her blush only deepened more as she heard the compliment come towards her. "But i'm not beautiful!" Kasumi stated without thinking. She realized what she said and turned her face away from the other, feeling even more silly than before. So as to not continue talking on the subject she decided to walk forward, towards the castle.

"Don't be ridiculous my dear. I searched high and low, but I could find none more worthy then you. I also could find no more beautiful than you my dear." Shiro walked side by side with Kasumi as they entered the castle. Shiro was greeted by plenty of female maids, all who had a look of lust in their eye for him. Shiro greeted them all with kind gestures and smiles. There was a group of nine kyuubi maids who actually noticed Kasumi despite their obsession with Shiro. They were polite and they were even kind to her. One gave Kasumi a beautiful new dress she had just created out of the finest silks.

She felt her cheeks heat up more and more as he continued to speak. Kasumi continued to not look at him with fear of showing her red cheeks. Once entered, she could not help but notice those that all looked at him in such away. It made her feel all the more self conscious till the nine were kind enough and even gave her a dress. "Wh-what for me?... I can't..." she tried refusing politely. "thank you..." she humbly accepted it like a good person would do.

Once they had gotten off of the first level there were less people around. Lox still silently lead the way. "I apologize for that, some of them are taking the news pretty hard. Be thankful the Kyuubi Nine like you though. The sisters don't take that kindly to just anyone." Finally Lox stopped in front of a closed door. He pulled out a set of keys and unlocked it. "Welcome to your quarters." He said without any type of emotion in his voice. "I will be back for you soon Kasumi. Rest up and please meet my father for dinner, he is just dying to meet you." Shiro smiled gently and exited the large room, leaving you in there by yourself. The room had a beautiful view of the large city outside the castle. The bed was huge and everything in the room was decorated in some way. An emblem with a phoenix in the center marked every piece of cloth in the room.
