"Of what?" The voice was neither demanding nor frustrated; the words were spoken softly, just wanting to clarify.
"If you don't think the timing's right, please say so. I'd rather know sooner rather than later. Maybe we can figure out a way to postpone me visiting."

"I don't think the timing ever is going to get better," the voice assured, a linger of doubt still present, though the statement was mostly confident.
"I guess it's just scary to even entertain the thought of committing to this. I like you a lot and this is very new to me."

There was a small pause. Something in the breathing insinuated that they had attempted to form a sentence a couple of times, before eventually abandoning that thought.
"We don't have to commit that much," they attempted carefully, as if to searching for the right think to say. "If you don't wan't to commit to being exclusive, if that's whats bothering you. It doesn't have to be so intimidating; I'd just like to take you out on a proper date for starters."
