Charlie took a minute to think about the situation and decided it would be ok. "Ya sure... I'd actually like to take my time getting to California actually..." She was afraid to tell try whole story so she withdrew her sentence quickly. She shut her mouth and stared out the window as usual.

Ethan's eyes brightened slightly, but he turned back to the road. After a few more minutes of driving, he pulled over into the hotel parking lot, shut the truck off, and held the hotel door open for Charlie.

Charlie walked into the reception area and let Ethan handle the room situation. While Charlie looked about, admiring the decorating of the hotel lobby. It was all bright orange and a coffee colored brown. The chairs and tables looked as if they were brand new and never used. The place definitely looked expensive.

Ethan walked up to the counter and paid for the room. He had only stayed there a few times before, it was one of the more expensive hotels on the way to California. He got the key card and walked over to Charlie and smiled.
"Ready?" he asked.
