Come the time Silver's phone rang, he had been home for well over an hour. Dressed in his pjs and sitting on the couch, a damp Cato was happily wrapped up in a small baby blanket and sleeping away in his lap. On the side table sat a half finished cup of tea and a small plate of plain biscuits. He still wasn't feeling 100% and didn't really trust himself to keep much down. Before the sound of his ringtone could wake his sleeping little one, he answered.
The moment he heard Rich's voice, a slow blush creeped across his face. Thank whoever that they weren't face to face. His voice was hushed when he finally spoke.
"I made it home just fine and he's good," he said. "He just got a bath not too long ago and is sleeping now."
((Sorry I took so long to answer. I completely forgot when we were on vacation and this week has just been....bad, emotionally speaking. I'm not exactly in the best mindset right now))
