I'm good with any setting myself and was thinking more modern, but since it was thrown out there I'm up for a medieval/fantasy setting anyday! :D

I've realized lately how, um, bad my roleplaying skills have been lately (I've been in the shadows of a bad site for awhile, prior to coming here) and need someone to give me a good punch in the face and say 'this is how we do things around these parts, noob!' You know, just to help me get to know some people, get a better feel for the atmosphere, that sort of thing. Yeah, I'm late doing this I know, but I'm shy, slow at getting stuff done, and have only recently been able to get myself going here. So how about it? I was thinking of something like a mid to late 80's or early 90's setting, and maybe some kind of mystery or suspense plot. For starters, I just like to go with the flow, so I'm willing to work with whatever gets thrown at me. |

For the sake of not making more than one of these posts stating that I'm searching for roleplays, assuming anyone will read this anyway, I want to throw out some ideas because I want more people to have fun with and group roleplay... well, I've discovered I suck at keeping up with them since I don't post like very hour of the day, or even every day for that metter, depending: I really like war history and would like to do something with World War I (because people ALWAYS do II), either during the war or about that time. Maybe not actually fighting in the war itself, or the characters are forced to get involved or something like that. I have a lot of ideas I can put into this one. Also, if anyone has heard of the series called Jericho, the concept intrigued me greatly and I'd love to base a roleplay off of that. It's a damn shame that show got canceled. I still want to stick with some kind of suspense plot, too. And I was thinking of something like a serial killer mystery; maybe something like Saw but not quite as... um... graphic so it can be kept at Alpha. And this last idea is just that: I was kind of thinking about doing something the game Resistance or if anyone has seen the show Falling Skies. Similar concept anyway. So yeah. That's pretty much it. This can be 1x1 or a small group of maybe 3 or 4 people, however do know that I'm not the greatest with keeping up with group roleplays but I'm slowly getting better. |
