Welcome to Askana, a beautiful land full of friendly people. You have awaken to find yourself in Cardy, a small port city on the Sea of Mache. You head downstairs to find that you are in an Inn known as the Silver Goblet. The only problem is that you have no idea how you got here. In fact, you are from Lenovia and have never even heard of this land. You seem to have no memories for the past year. However, your entire childhood and most of your adult life is all intact. You have a pack full of supplies, as though you were on a journey. To an even greater surprise, you soon find that several other patrons are suffering the same fate. What could account for this? More importantly, what are you to do about it?

Greetings, I am looking for a small group to explore this world and solve the mystery of how they got here. There are 8 major races to choose from with a cultural, physical, and relational background for each. You can invent your own characters and backstory, barring the missing year. There is a story-line in the background but how it gets played out very much depends on how we play.

Sounds cool, I'd be up for it. Will it be some kind of medieval-esque setting? I'm just assuming so from the names you chose for places.

Also, what kind of posting speed are you hoping for?

It is a medieval-like setting, yes.

I was thinking that we should be ideally posting every other day or so. I was going to leave a little sway. I understand if EVERY day is a little much for people but it should definitely be more than once a week. The actual timeline will be determined according to when each person posts. I will start asking questions if you haven't posted for a few days.

I'm very interested in this. I have a character I could reinvent to bring over here from a story that has been abandoned. I can give you about a post a day or one every other day.

Sure thing! I was thinking of keeping this pretty small, if that's ok. So far it seems as though we have three of us. I was thinking four people would be the max. Would you like to wait for a fourth person?

That is funny.

Three or four is a good number. If a group gets too large, people lose interest waiting to post. We can wait a few a little bit if you want to see if you have any more takers for the story.

Oh, and another thing! I was planning to play any key "Non-Player Characters". That way you guys don't have to worry about being both your character AND the shopkeeper. This is not to say that you won't be a damn good shopkeeper but I thought it would be simpler for you. Of course, if you don't like this idea we can scrap it. Or take it by ear, maybe with you guys playing smaller roles.

Once a week is DEFINITELY way too much for me. A fast group RP for me is probably 1 post every two weeks, depending on how much I have to do. I can 100% promise you that I will keep you posted of my IRL schedule, though, so no one wonders where I've gone off to.
