Interest Check - Sandbox-ish style Post-Apoc RP setting

Alright, Tenere. I'll bite. I'll have to create a character for this, but I do prefer post apocalyptic. As I stated in your Intro, daily is a bit too much for me sometimes. It depends on what is going on. The kids have a high op tempo Mon - Thurs, but I'm home during the day. I work out in the mornings and write or do chores in the afternoons. I have an extensive military background and tend to play characters with military experience. This one will be no different. I'm leaning towards a human of Japanese ethnicity. We'll see how it goes.

Sounds good to me :) I may be a little slower getting a post back on the weekends (family time) but if you can wait a day or two for a post here and there, I'm fine with waiting a few days as well. I hear you about kids being high tempo and I sympathize with you completely on that one - my daughter is on the verge of the terrible twos here and she burns the candle at both ends and hates naps (and...just sleeping in general, I think).

Rambling aside - I look forward to seeing what kind of character you come up with for this. The setting little out of my usual "comfort zone" - this will be my first time going headlong into a post-apocalyptic RP setting so it'll be interesting. I love the genre in general, though. Let me know when you've got a character panned out (no rush) and I'll toss up an OOC thread and get this thing rolling IC-wise as well.

I've changed my mind. After reading most of your stuff on Shyiine, I'm going for a half breed, Human-Shyiine.

:D eee that's cool! I've only had one other person in the past 10-ish years of creating that race who wanted to delve into making one, so I'm pretty excited now. Not that I wouldn't be excited and looking forward to seeing what character you had created for the setting, regardless of what race you wanted to play... but really I'm just tickled pink.
