Okay, I was thinking of an RP where our characters are a colony of survivors on a colony spaceship after the Earth was rendered inhabitable rapidly by a plague. This is about six generations, six centuries after the ship was launched from the Earth in an attempt to preserve the human species. Contact was later lost with the other ships and Earth as well.

Our characters play as a new generation of colonists on the spaceship after having tried to find a suitable planet to settle down. All is not well of course, as humans had a history of encountering an alien race seemingly intent on consuming and assimilating mankind. This will have mechas in it though it is still a struggle against the alien species.

A good reference point for this RP would be Knights of Sidonia, but it by no means everything will be the same since it is only an inspiration.

Okay, I've gone and read through The 100 wikipedia, and can say that no, it is not similar. The only things I can find in common is that the background for this setting is that centuries ago, humanity was forced out from earth due to a virulent/nuclear threat.

The main inspiration for this is The Knights of Sidonia.
