It's a city on the Italian cost, it will be a key city to win before we can move onward to Germany it's self. If we can take it that will free up more men for the France front. We will attack by land, you'll move through the Italian country side to get there, I'm sure you will be get there quickly. God speed men and woman of the Canadian High Landers." The man said before stepping off the stage.

So as you people can guess I want todo a World War Two rp, and I don't really know much about any of the battles beside of what in learning from my SS class ((not the German SS :p)) anyways we don't have to be canadian or even do the Battle of Ortona. That's just what I'm learning, we could just be making our way through the German country side or something like. Also I think it would be fun if girls wanted to join then they could play a woman or a man :3 also I might add the dance mod for shooting, but I need input on that. Also Gunther if you are reading this I would love all and any help you want to give :3

Is this a squad RP? Are we all in the same rifle squad? or are we all tank commanders of the same company? or are we all in different units, not working together telling a very different tale about what is happening in front of us?

You would be interested in the Documentary I watched yesterday on the Canadians in Italy. It was fascinating. The Battle of Ortona was highlighted in this video. It was more of a tank battle than anything else, but definitely a combined arms engagement. I believe this was the first occurrence of the German Pzkw V Panther on either front of the war.

I was thinking of squad rp, and that's sound cool. I know the fighting was slow going once in the town though. Having to fight from house to house, the streets mostly just rubble. :p I know of Ortona cause I'm in Canada and we are covering what the Canadians did. So I would prefer to be a Canadian squad. Haha,

Also the only real big thing I know that happen in WW2 was that on D-day a US ship was late getting there and went to the wrong beach. It ended up on the Canadians beach. I think the ship was a large battleship or something like that, anyways it's said that if the ship hadn't shown up the canadians would have lost the beach cause of lack of fire power from the ships we had :p

Anyways!!!!! I just hope more want to join :p

I'm fine with replicating a Canadian Rifle Squad. You know I will research it. It is like breathing for me; research. My family's ancestry is French Canadian. Both my father's mother and father were born in Quebec.

Alright that we are canadian haha, and that's pretty cool. Did you know in WW1 not many French Canadians joined the fight as they had no feeling of ties between them and what was going on. Also the lack of French speaking commanders did not help

Oh, I'm sure the French felt like outsiders in their own country. My family left Canada in 1905/1910. That has been an internal struggle for many years.
