Noir detectives roleplay?

I have debated doing this many times, but now I've decided to give it a shot.

So, this is the very general idea, and I will add details to an OOC thread in case enough people go for it.

Setting: New York, Depression Era.
Central theme: A struggling detective agency working their cases in the city.
Number of characters: I'm looking for anything between 3 and 7.
Character sheet template will be provided. Agency cases and individual cases will be available. Individual cases give either special equipment or a contact. Characters will have archetypes and skills tailored for these archetypes. Plot-driven story, will involve dice rolls for success in given situations.

Characters:

Director - Taken, Shadow (will provide details if this takes off)
Vice-Director - Free

Detectives:
- One position taken, Shadow
- 3 to 7 positions, free

That's a very light tint at the story, I will provide more details if it takes off. Questions, post here or PM me.

I'm soooo interested in this. I love Noir and I love detective stories so combine the two and I'm supper interested even though I really shouldn't since I'm like the slowest person to post to anything *shifty eyes*

Well, if this does take off, I'll probably keep a one-post-a-week rating, so it doesn't get too fast, but not so slow that people lose interest.

Availability as in posting rate? I'd say I can get in, at the bare minimum, one post a week, unless real life problems arise c:

Great, that's pretty much what I am going for. Naturally, if people can post more often will be grand, but once a week is what I'm going for as in not to rush the posting, but not to be too slow and have people lose interest. I will work on the OOC somewhere between today and tomorrow.
