Galileo Corporation NOW RECRUITING!Out of Character Thread / In Character Thread
I would like to start a role based on my originally designed, Galileo Corporation Universe. This is a Private Military Corporation (PMC) set in the 24th century. Your character will be a member of the PMC that is reminiscent of 16th or 17th Century Privateers, but set in the future. The Privateer has traded in his Sailing ship for a space faring vessel. The Mercenary, is now a professional soldier rather than the greedy, all for himself pirate they once were.
Your character may be a crewmember aboard some ship or a ground pounder sent to deal with bad guys first hand. Or you may possibly be a member of a crew on some vesssel that transports infantry from ship to surface or provides close fire support. Your call.
I'll RP as the bad guys, who are either a thick skinned humanoid race known as the Fydler or a group of pirates made up of mostly humans, but could be other races scattered around the galaxy. You can read up on GC in the link in my signature.
Who's ready to do an orbital jump from a drop pod aboard a Galactic Corvette?

- "The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes. "
