This is what the OOC will look like. I hope this will get some interest =)

Basic synopsis: On the world of Gaishia, a people called the Components are enslaved to the Kyrshians. Components are a type of people who have one major skill- and they are skilled in a super-human sense. They cannot survive on their own, so they live in communities. They were named components, because their communities ran smoothly, much like a machine- so they were components of a machine. They were treated as inhuman as their name, bred in farms, and slaughtered similarly. Any components gifted with the skill of fighting were killed as soon as their talent was realized, as they could turn against their owners. If a component bred with a Kyrshian, their child was a mongrel- to be either killed, or also enslaved. Some mongrels managed to live undercover, but only the lucky ones. Some feisty components, free mongrels, and humane Kyrshians have decided that it is time the slavery ends. The rebellion starts now.

A little insight to the world of Gaishia: History of the great migration

Long ago on the planet, we, the inhabitants of Gaishia, fondly know as Earth, the population of humans became too large for their abused planet to support them. Millions were starving, suffering, and dying every day. The streets were littered with dead bodies. They’d just lie there, decaying, making everything smell of death. Houses had no roofs, because they had fallen in, and even then, there were at least twenty people living in each. People usually only had one meal a day- and they weren’t very big. There was no meat, and vegetables were hard to come by. Even water was scarce. Fights were constantly breaking out, as people fought over the things they needed to sustain themselves. Children were being thrown to the fires so that the population didn’t get any higher. People were being thrown off bridges, and left to drown in the hot oceans. They were slaughtered by the thousands, knifed through the back, or stabbed in the heart.
Criminal of all sorts- from the petty thief, to the ethnic cleansers- riddled the streets, for there was no room left in the jails. The majority of all the children born were the result of rape, and usually no one lived past the age of twenty. They were either killed, or they died of illness. Medicine had become an urban myth, thought not to exist. There was no such thing as the rich or the poor, because nobody had enough to live off of.
Science was unable to take any steps forward, and technology had taken a huge dip. The animals had nowhere to live besides the heavily guarded zoos set aside for them. The oceans had become toxic and hot, due to global warming and pollution. The conditions of living were worse than those of the dark ages.
Finally, in the year 3409, the global government finally gave up on trying to control the mess that the world had become, and decided that it was time for the human race to move on. After five years of debating it, they had made up their minds- it was time to leave Earth. They illustrated a plan, which required that the population of 25,000,000,000 people split into fifty sectors, and that they were distributed out to fifty different planets. They voted that all the worst criminals would be left behind- being mass murderers and anything worse. Killing to live was normal, so that was not considered a major crime. The rest of the population was split randomly. Families were torn apart, but it had to be done.
Of course, the religious fanatics were outraged. After all, how could they, the children of God, leave the planet he made for them? They formed a group that called itself the Pistos, which supposedly meant the faithful. The Pistos, recognized as rebels, fought to stay on Earth. There were so few of them, though, that their numbers weren’t able to stop the great migration. The government took all who were willing to go, and left Earth. The Pistos were left behind, along with all the criminals that had been voted bad enough to be left. After a few years of inbreeding and fighting over tiny points, the troublesome religious fanatics eventually died out completely, leaving Earth empty of humans, ready to heal.
After that, all news of Earth was lost, and the people who had settled on other planets cried for their long lost home- likely a home they’d never get to see again. Humanity left the Milky Way entirely, and they all settled in Centaurus A.
The sectors, or the colonies, as they were later called, settled on a variety of different planets. Some of the planets looked perfect, but were near uninhabitable, and the people there died.
There were a few planets that lost contact with the United Planets of the Galaxy of Centaurus altogether.
One such planet was ours, Gaishia, a lovely green planet that seemed like paradise, at first glance. Its namesake was Geisha, another name for Earth. Our people were once known as sector four, which consisted of ten ships, with 10,000 people on each. Sector four was one of the smaller colonies. Once our ships hit the atmosphere of Gaishia, they lost all power. Anything that used steel stopped working, which was most of the ship. The radios connecting us to all other sectors were cut off, and all contact was lost with them. Some of the ships were destroyed when they hit Gaishia, but many of them had survivors. Only two ships were completely destroyed, while others had nothing more than a few casualties. Presumably, the other sectors thought us dead.
No one knows what became of all the other sectors. Perhaps one day we’ll advance technology with the metals here, and we will be able to find out. For now, all we Gaishians can do it wait, and hope…

-Entry by Louis Birtwhistle, written 30 years after the crash of sector four

An old woman smiled as she read over this snippet of history to her class. This had been written hundreds of years ago, but the written language had stayed the same, and the broken ships had been preserved all those years, as a memory of what Gaishians used to be. It has been found out later, that it was in fact iron, which had failed. As steel was composed of iron, it failed. All modern Gaishians were allergic to iron, much like the fae of legends.
On Gaishia, something that humans thought impossible, had come true- magic was possible on Gaishia. Technology was the sacrifice for magic. Because of the properties of Gaishia, some humans had been changed. These people were giving special powers- skills of sorts. They had one special thing they could do- some of them were able to heal without medicine, and to mend muscle without time. Some were able to fight extremely well without ever having training, and being able to move at inhuman speeds. Some learned how to read minds, and deal with peoples emotions- the possibilities were endless. Usually these people only had one such skill.
The way normal humans had come across these super humans was through the re-invention of boats. The super humans- now called components, as they were all important to their rather mechanical community, had been found on an island not far from the kingdom of Kyrshan. There were no components in Kyrshan, so when these super people were found, they were immediately thought alien, strange, evil… Though the components had amazing powers, their numbers were no match for the Kyrshans’. Instead of being killed off, they were enslaved, which is when they acquired the nickname ‘components’.
This was also well known history. Even nearly a hundred years after their enslavement, the components never broke free. They were bred, and killed, on farms. Component children were expected to realize their skill before they were ten. Any that had the skill of fighting were slaughtered, and those that had useless skills- like climbing trees, or swimming- were put to work doing things like maintaining sewers and sweeping the streets.
The way to recognize a component was by looking at their eyes. The distinctive qualities of components are that they always have unnatural eye colours. Their hair was normal, except that, if they were, say, blond, their hair would be white, or if they had black hair, it would be black as pitch. Components’ hair never changed colour with age, nor did it ever fall out. Besides that, they looked just like everyone else.
Then there were the mongrels- thought dirty because they were half component and half human. Most mongrels were given disguises when they were young so that they wouldn’t be taken into slavery. Any mongrels that were found out would either be killed, or turned into the government to be put to use.
The old woman was one such mongrel. She had violet eyes, and taught a class of young components- for they were allowed a small amount of education. She could see the fire in their eyes. There had been rumours that a rebellion was coming soon… Apparently some of the Kyrshians had found some humanity. Mongrels that had stayed undercover were also involved… so she had heard. If the rebellion came to her, she would certainly help.
For now, though, she would teach these children as much as she could while they were permitted to take her class, so that they would be well informed when the components were free at last.
And what about the other colonies out there? she wondered. Would they eventually find Gaishia? Would their iron fail in the same way? She thought such things as class ended, her students gathering their books and preparing to go to their job, already set to slave work.

Characters start in the city of Kashmyro. The rebellion has not started quite yet, and they certainly have not acquired a leader. Someone has yet to step up. Kashmyro is in a temperate climate, surrounded by tropical forests. This is set on one continent, with only one country. There are three types of people to choose from- components, Kyrshian, or a mongrel. Other races are found on the currently undiscovered continent on the other side of the world. (This will come in much much later) – Creatures are limited to your imagination, though, as the same stands with characters, don’t make up anything too overpowered. Certain kinds of Nymphs exist around the city of Kashmyro, but they are in hiding, and no one knows they even exist. (Nymphs will also come in later, and I will need people to play them- info for them will be put up when the time comes) Plants are also limited to your imagination, though they should be along the lines of something tropical. We’ll be creating this world as we go.

Races:

Components:
A component is characterized by strangely coloured eyes, such as purple, red, yellow, or even some of the more normal colours, but more vivid than normally humanly possible. A component has only one skill, but they excel at whatever it is greatly- more than any normal human could even dream of. There are no restraints on what that skill is, other than that there can be only one, and if said skill is fighting, then your character has to have escaped very young, and gone into hiding. (I might allow one, maybe two of these) Once you have picked your component’s talent, let me know what it is and I’ll see if that’s alright. Please try to expand on how the talent affects your person. It’s different for every component, so I can’t really specify. Keep in mind that most components are slaves, or are kept inside at all times to hide- OR they know a kind Kyrshian who also happens to be talented in sorcery who can mask the colour of their eyes. (Also, only one or two of these) Components themselves are incapable of actually using magic.

Components pray to the Goddes Jasha, though many have lost their faith. They believe that Jasha will choose a champion to free them. Though they were once culturally rich, much of their culture has been squashed by the Kyrshians.


Kyrshian:
These people being your every-day, average human. Some are gifted with magic, and all are gifted to a small extent. Whereas some can do little things, like mentally lift a penny, others can summon storms. Unlike the components, the Kyrshians can be skilled in more than one thing, and find it far easier to live independently.

Kyrshians are largely non-religious. They have large academies of magic for the more skilled in the craft, and treat components like dirt as a whole. Some Kyrshians see them as people, though, and these will be the ones at the head of the rebellion, as they are free, and won’t be suspected.


Mongrels:
Part component, part Kyrshian, these people are either similarly enslaved, or manage to hide half of their heritage. Some inherit a talent, while others are much like a usual Kyrshian. On occasion, there is one born who has the talent of magic. These people are incredibly powerful, and if discovered, killed on sight. (I will allow only one such character other than my own. I’m not trying to power hoard, rather, as you will see, it helps further the plot, and add some interesting twists. Remember, one who has a skill is not skilled in anything else, so though a character like this will be rather powerful, they will be weak in many ways as well)

The spoiler is the character herself. You can afford to skip reading most of it. It's really only the stuff at the bottom that matters, in 'other.' The rest of what's here is sorta what I would like with people's characters.
Name/Gender: Aradia Sabina Grimassae
Height, and weight: 5’ 3”
Race: Mongrel
Age: 19
Appearance: Adia dresses in comfortable, practical clothes. She used to be required to wear a skirt, but at her protest, she is allowed to wear loose trousers that resembled a skirt from afar. Her shirt is always very simple, with the symbol of the Kyrshian crown on the front. Her black hair is always tied back, out of the way, and she wears a single bead, threaded into her curls. Her eyes are impossibly turquoise, a blue-green unachievable by any normal human. She wears no jewelry, partly because she is not allowed, and also because she thinks it is unnecessary.
Personality: Aradia is a cool tempered young woman. She rarely loses her temper, or for that matter, shows emotion at all. Her hate of the Kyrshian crown grows every day. She loathes how the components are crushed, and enslaved. Adia has had trouble trusting anyone since her father betrayed her to the government. The only people in the world whom she loves or trusts are her younger brother, and mother, both she strives to protect. She is never impolite to someone, however she can be cold, and indifferent. She does what she needs to do, and will do no more for the government than needed. If she sees someone she believes needs her personal help, then she will go a little out of the way to provide it. She has considered, and considers more every time she is forced to do ugly work, to start rebelling. With her ties to the government, she could infiltrate easily. Meanwhile, her component blood would make her trustworthier to the components, who she could rally. She had the mind for the deception of the government, and the strategy it would take, however, she is not a strong speaker. She would need the help of many if she were to even try to free the components. (She will be the leader. Sorta. This is just my way of keeping the plot sorta kinda in line. There will be lots of other influences though)
Weapons: Aradia is only allowed a weapon when abroad. She is fair with swordplay, so she carries a sword to defend herself on her way to another of the government’s tasks. She is not exceptional, but she is good enough to hold her own against petty thieves.
Fighting style: In a real fight, Adia relies on her magiks to win. She is not good enough in any hand-to-hand combat to be able to properly defend herself. Using her magiks, she usually causes winds to blow her opponent over, so she can take her sword and either knock them with the hilt, or deal the finishing blow.
Powers: Being half Kyrshian, half component, Adia has an interesting set of powers. Mainly, she has the ability for magic from her mother, and it is enhanced greatly by her component blood. Effectively, her magic is her component, and she truly is not good at much else. She never requires escorts, as she is trusted to do the task she is assigned… else wise the well-being of her family be threatened. She is capable of the very rudiments of survival on her own, and the very basics of self-defense. The rest of her skill is entirely focused on her magiks. That said, her specific magic has to do with the weather. She can calls storms, and cause lightning to strike. She can bring strong winds, and rains. She can bring great blizzards and ice storms. She is used as a tool; she works as a weapon, and she is agriculturally useful. When in war with the next country over, very similar to Kyrshia, she is called upon to cause snow and ice to block the enemies’ troops. When the crops are dry anywhere in Kyrshia, she would be required to bring the rains. When idle, she is used to do menial things, like bringing a breeze to the central court to keep the nobles happy.
History: Her and her brother’s father was special- he was both a prophet, and a master of disguise. He disguised Aradia and her brother when they were young so that they wouldn’t be taken into slavery right away.
When Aradia was ten, and her brother was three, her powers were realized. Aradia could call forth storms, and often did so when she was upset. She showed such incredible talent, which made her father so proud. When her father realized how powerful she had become, he turned her in to the government, and was never to be seen again. His reasons were, and are still unknown.
Now, Aradia is the tool of the government. She was too powerful to make a slave, so they did the next best thing- they forced her into service. She might as well be a slave, for all the things they put her through.
Other: Adia has terrible health. Every now and then, she is undertaken by seizures and high fevers. The Kyrshian doctors could never tell why, and her government supervisors had once hoped it would kill her. However, finally having determined that she is more useful alive than dead, they have assigned her a component healer to accompany her at all times. They would not normally assign a component healer to anyone but components, for fear of vengefulness. However, as Aradia is half component herself, it is far less likely. Not only that, but if a component healer killed her, then it would be no great loss. After all, she is only a dirty mongrel, no matter how useful.

I will need someone to play the healer component. He will be her companion for a while, so whoever wants to play him will have to talk to me about things they already know about one another. He will most likely also end up being her speaker, ah, the motivational figure head, if you will. I’ll need someone who won’t put up with her when she gets irritable, and is insistent on keeping her healthy. It will also be best if it is someone who would be willing to talk to her should she ever decide to speak, and isn’t of the attitude, ‘I must be here, so I will not do more than I need to.’ It will also be understood that she does not see him as her slave, and will treat him as an equal. Once she decides to speak to him about her ‘wild and crazy ideas,’ he will be partly the voice of reason, and also contribute ideas. He won’t shoot it down. I’m sorry it has to be so specific… I’m also looking for older characters who can be in the government- contacts, basically. These would be the ‘ties’ with the government that make it possible for her to know what’s going on. They would be the ones ‘on the inside.’ I also need some components, slaves that work around the general area we’re starting in. There will be a few free components who have disguised themselves, but I can’t have too many. Those are really the only options right now, but more options come later, if you stick it out. At any rate, there's still plenty of room to make really interesting characters. Also, this way, if some people can't post consistently, they can have a role with out slowing things down. I promise that it won't take long to get involved enough to make characters a little more loose. Once the first 'attack' has been made, then everyone's characters will be fully free to move around as they will, except for those in the government. If you take an 'inside' guy, then I suggest having two characters. There's not a lot of moving room in the beginning, but once the initial stuff is out of the way, things will be fairly freelance.
