Not sure how common the whole seawoman gets caught in a net, sailor falls in love with her thing is, but hey, if some people like the idea, then we have a shot.

So, basically I was perusing through Deviantart and I came across a bunch of Selkie pictures that really caught my interest. In stories, Selkies are people that don seal skin and are able to live in the ocean, but this person had the idea of making them half and half, like Mermaids, but with seals.

So basically, the story begins with my character, a female Selkie, getting caught in a fishing net and is taken prisoner on board the ship that your character, a sailor or swabbie or something, works on. Eventual romance ensues. This will be all PM posting, so basically it's open season!

generally my concept for an ooc for a 1x1 isn't that it is used for profiles

to me the ooc is for conversating, goofing off, snugglings, and plottings. seeing as we just got started we has no need to plottagings yet.

however on the basis of the story
