The main idea of this RP is to have romance with various females who have not been lucky in love.
The females will live with an elderly widow (me). They will be provided with all they need to be successful. All they need is the right male.
The male is allowed to date up to three females with the intent to marry.
Object is Matrimony and a fortune. If the male marries the first female, you will receive $500,000. If the male marries the second female, he will receive $400,000. If the male marries the third one he dates, he will receive $300,000.
The Catch (of course there is a catch!) is that they had to stay married for a specified time. The money is given out in increments.
The Time Era is Victorian Age. No lights, no cars or modern conveniences.
Any suggestions or ideas or comments?

Wow. A mix of "the bachelor" and "paradise hotel" in the victorian era. I would definitely be interested in joining this, if nothing else then out of sheer curiosity of how this could possibly turn out good xD

I am glad that you show interest! I'd like to have at least 3 males and 3 females (I'd be one of the females) in order to start the RP. I'd start the OOC when I get 2 more that show interest.

Perhaps a map of the town would be a good idea. What would you think of that? And if you think that would be good, what kind of entertainment from that time era would you like to see? I am open to suggestions. :)

I've actually been thinking of making maps for fantasy setting for a while, to brush up on my painting skills (no pun intended). Would you mind if I made a sketch over the weekend with my ideas?

Sure! I have a list of various activities that people of that day did. I'd like to have the town be about 20 miles from the ocean because the people of that day would take week end trips and vacations there. The travel would be a train.
Theater was very big then as well. Zoos were just starting, sports were in (Victorian Sports
1) Fishing
2) fox-hunting
3) deer-hunting
4) horse races
5) boat race
6) team Sports
a) rowing
b) cricket
c) football (rugby)
d) soccer
e) track and field
f) Badminton
g) Croquet
h) ring toss )
parks where people would walk or ride horses.
Also be sure to include a couple churches.

Do some research and see what kinds of places and things people in 1800 to 1850 would do.

It will depend on the how fast the dates go. If the one you are dating, is slow then it will be slow for you while faster posters will have more posts in. At least that is what I am imagining this to be. I haven't run this RP before.
