This rp is going to be a group one, not quite sure about the plot yet, but I have a few ideas. (Psst, more ideas are welcome, pssssttttt)

The plot will be centered around the Furnace. The Furnace is a fighting arena. Masters own the Fighters that brawl in this heated battle ground. I'll explain both positions.

Masters - They own the Fighters legally. They train them, raise them, discipline them, and breed them to be their greatest gladiators. They have to be quite wealthy, considering that they must be responsible for the money they win - or more rather, lose if their Fighter doesn't win the Match. Masters decide how much money is placed on Matches. They can challenge opponents or a random one will be selected for them. You can choose how much money your character starts out with. (Within reason.) They can own as many Fighters as they wish to, but only one can be placed in each Match. What a Master does with their Fighters is their business, and they can't be held legally responsible for any harm that comes to their Fighters. In this world, it's key to remember that the Fighters are thought of as less than human. All Masters are human. Creating a backstory is optional for this character.

Fighters - Creatures of your choice that take place in the Matches. They belong to their Masters and fight to win; bringing in good money for their owners could better their own living conditions. Many fight against their will, but there are some that fight willingly, and love every second of it. All of them have a stage name to go by, which you can also choose. Fighters aren't allowed to use any of the money they earn in Matches. Relationships between Fighters is discouraged, especially if they don't belong to the same Master. But everyone breaks the rules, of course. Especially creatures that are denied their freedom. You can create your own backstory for this character as well.

The story will start right before a Match in the Furnace.
There are a couple basic plots that can go along with this:
1. A group of Fighters that don't wish to be oppressed anymore.
2. Some kind of romance thing.

As you can see, ideas don't come easily to me. xD

You can choose what character you are: Master or Fighter. Once I make an OOC, you can post your character sheet there. Not here.

Ideas for the plot and a setting are appreciated also!

If we don't have enough of a kind if character, I will play one from whatever side is lacking.

You're definitely in Vagrant. ^.^ And Dizzle, I hadn't thought about that... You can be two characters, but I think one should be a Master and the other one a Fighter. Unless you have a way to make two of the same type work out, yeah.
