Name: Korrin Bleak

Age: 39

Sex: Male

Height: "5'8

Home: Northplains (Barrenstone)

Appearance: Korinn is noble and gallant in appearance and posture. His grey-brown hair falls close to his shoulders lifelessly, forever stained by the frozen north. His perfectly groomed goatee is beginning to show signs of graying, and his pale face, though handsome, is wrinkled unbefittingly for a man of his age, likely because of the stress of his station. He walks, as mentioned before, with great posture, giving him an air of importance and natural leadership. His eyes, as cold as the tundra in which he lived, are a stark blue, and have been known to bring his enemies to fall on their knees in fear and admiration. He wears a set of white, black, and sky blue armor, and has his giant two-handed falchion, Hail, slung across his back. On formal occasions he dons a wolftooth crown and a black cape with the symbol of a sky blue bird, the Bleak family crest, on the back.

Weapons: Hail, the two-handed falchion, the ancestral sword of the Bleak family. Infused with ice magic by the barbarian priests of the first northmen, this sword may not be handled without gloves, for it causes extreme frostbite to the touch, neutralizing most enemies with a single good cut. The curved sword has a hilt with the pattern of a polar bear and the blade is forged of coldsteel, the most durable metal in all of Northplains, giving it a bluish sheen.

History: Korrin Bleak comes from no humble beginnings. A noble of the Bleak family, second only to Northplains' royal family in power, Korinn was born into a lineage of great leaders and ferocious warriors. Korrin was no exception. From an early age, Korrin was a prodigy. He was able to ride before he could walk, and began learning swordplay and leadership skills at the unprecidented age of 7. Like the rest of his family, his emotions rarely revealed themselves, his sense of humor quite bland. But, this only made him stronger. Korrin was definately talented, both on the battlefield and in politics, but soon his world was rocked. Killed by an assassin, his father, Gillian Bleak, noble of one of the largest territories of the province, is gone forever. Korrin, at the young age of 15, was to be the leader of his territory. Aided by his mother and advisor, his territory flourished, and he was well loved by his citizens. After 25 years as the noble of Barrenstone castle, Korrin was depressed. Life had lost its luster, but that wasn't what had gotten to him. It was how early it had come. He loved his station and his people, but he was becoming quickly drained of life. With a heavy heart, he relinquished his title to his advisor, Tarrem Rink. Leading a small group of mercinary soldiers, Korrin Bleak, former lord of Barrenstone, and noble of Northplains, seeks adventure as a traveling warrior, riding upon his valiant warhorse Chill, fighting evil in all forms as the cold avenger that he was raised to be.

(obviously certain aspects will be changed to fit certain roleplays, but that's to be expected right? :P)
