Very sick

Just dropping a note so people know I'm still alive if barely so. Since Monday I have been bed ridden with the flu and even now typing this is a chore but I did not want Asteria throwing up a thread for me on top of everything else she has been doing.

Hoping to be better by the end of the week because I hate being sick and suck at it which Ast can attest to as she fought with me this morning to just take some cough medicine.

So, I managed to not die and actually have the strength to be up and on the computer for more than a few moments at time. So...YAY! Going to work on getting back into the swing of things shortly.

So, I got well from my original sickness and then ended up catching what my son had. Which left me well...not that great. I am looking to get back into the swing of things soon because I am feeling better. Not 100% but definitely better.

This is also following dealing with an emergency that involved my sister's dog, which lives with us, nearly dying and requiring emergency surgery to save her life. Spent two whole days at the vet spending our bill money to save her life and get her back and forth to the vet. Being a 70lb dog meant we needed a special taxi service that costs far more than one would have expected.

Sorry your son was sick and you got it from him. Illnesses love to pass around my family too. My son and I both have runny noses and colds right now. Glad you're feeling better, Efer.

That's scary about happened to your sister's dog. I hope the dog will be okay and you guys won't be too hard on money for the emergency surgery.
