welcome all to the first weekly battle of The Immortals

All those who choose to compete, be ready for an all out battle. You are in some way immortal, but this all depends on those who follow you. The number of 'believers' you have will determine your strength. You can work miracles for your believers, but I will cover more on that later. You are not the only one the mortals can choose to believe in and these others are your enemies. You must find a way to get all mortals to follow you and weaken your opponents so that you may crush them. There will be many battles in between getting all of mortal kind to follow you and some of you might not make it past the first day, but that is expected. Good luck Immortals.

RULES

Followers
| +
For this you will use the dice mod at 1d20, and this will determine how many followers you will start out with. For example, you roll a 16, this give you 16 people who believe in you. There will be a pool of mortals who have not chosen an Immortal to believe in and are waiting to be converted. One extra follower will be added from the pool when you steal two mortals from an opponent and when you perform a miracle. To steal or convert another Immortal's followers, you will roll 1d6 each and if you roll higher than your opponent you convert one of his followers, but if your opponent rolls higher he converts two of your followers. As was said above, the number of followers you have determines your strength or power as an Immortal. For each 10 followers you have, you gain an additional dice roll during combat and I will explain that in more detail.

Immortal Combat (Where have I heard that before?)
| +
When you choose to challenge a fellow Immortal you roll 1d12 and the highest roll wins. If you have ten to nineteen followers, you get an additional roll that will be added to the first roll and if you have twenty to twenty nine followers you get two additional rolls and so on. You can challenge an opponent whenever and as many time as you like, but there must be at least five post in between others battles. Lets say Immortal X just fought Immortal Y, Immortal Z must wait five post to fight either one of them. There is a way to save your Immortal from being wiped out and this is one of the many miracles, which I will now explain.

Miracles
| +
There are ten miracles that you can choose to perform to either gain gain followers or keep yourself from dying. In the beginning of the game you will roll 1d4 to determine how many miracles you can perform in a 24 hour period. To perform a miracle, you simply roll 1d10 and the result is the miracle you may do. Here are the results of each roll from 1-10.

Miracle 1
| +
Crops grow in the fields that previously had not produced any food.

Miracle 2
| +
Rain pours, ending a drought.

Miracle 3
| +
Cures an illness.

Miracle 4
| +
Survives natural disaster.

Miracle 5
| +
A follower finds love. (This miracle gives you an additional follower)

Miracle 6
| +
A follower who previously could not have children, now can. (This miracle gives you an additional follower)

Miracle 7
| +
Gives a man the riches he desires.

Miracle 8
| +
Victory in battle for a follower and his army.

Miracle 9
| +
Bring a follower's loved one back to life.

Miracle 10
| +
Keep yourself from dying.

A basic turn or post

You will start off by introducing your character and if they are good or evil. Yes you can be an evil Immortal. After your character is introduced you will roll for the number of followers you have and miracles you can perform. Now once these things are done you can choose to battle a fellow Immortal and knock them out early, perform one of your limited number of miracles, or convert an enemies follower. You may only do one of these per post/turn, with the exception being miracle 10. Now let the game begin!

Classie updated profile. Followers went from 2 to 3!

Second Turn

Classie Performs a Miracle! She rolls a 4!

She survived a natural disaster!

The year is 1816. Volcanic dust from a massive eruption by Mount Tambora in the Dutch East Indies (present Indonesia) in 1815 led to an abnormally cold summer in 1816 in the northeastern United States and eastern Canada. Cold weather inhibited crops, and frosts and snowstorms killed what did grow, leading to a localized famine. It is known as the Year Without a Summer.

Congratulations! You just survived Famine (caused by volcano)!

You can try to roll a ten for miracle and save yourself, but if not we just start a new game.
