So it is FINALLY in Europe. I've had that thing for like... less than an hour. It's so dark out there. I went for a moonlight jaunt with 15% battery just to try it out. I've never in my life been super interested in Pokémon but **** if this isn't the best thing since sliced bread yo

And this is just to like, give you half an idea of how much this insanity has affected me already (these are AM times)

I hope none of you are part of those pokemon hunters that cause so much trouble
(Bothering people in hospitals, stopping police cars, crossing the road without looking, trespassing in other peoples garden, etc)
Otherwise I wish you all lots of fun (I don't play it myself )

I adore this game <3 so far I've seen some seriously cute stories on the Pokemon Go subreddit about people losing weight for the first time in years, making friends and other generally adorable junk, so I think that's super.

@Fearless Sissy 100% Agree. It does ridiculous things to my heart to see strangers on the street sharing tips and helping each other out all in the name of a game.

I don't play it, but I did read that a young couple decided to hunt for Pokemon in the zoo, an hour north of where I live, an hour after it closed. The zoo and police weren't too happy with them.

I mean like, of course you shouldn't be a dumbass about it? But I also think that a lot of people who don't play it focus a lot more on the Not So Good Things about it and less about how cool it is to have so many people outside being social and having fun all because they now have something in common that is now very easily recognizable. My friend actually showed me this ridiculous comment thread on Facebook (of course) where some baby boomer was complaining that people aren't outside "in the right way". Like, wow.

Also, @wolvesatebarbie, if you wanna tag me, you gotta put quotation marks around my name after the @! Like "Fearless Sissy" c;

It's not available here yet, but it's as I told my mom - show me anything and I will show you someone to misuse it. Such as the man who was shot because he trespassed into someone else's property.

Well... you know, when you trespass, for whatever reason, you put yourself at risk. People just need a large serving of common sense, that's all.

There's nothing wrong with people playing it and having fun, just don't be a dumbass about it. Obey traffic and property laws. A friend told me he found a Pokemon in my yard. I was like, that's cool but I do have "Beware of the Dog" signs since I have a dog. Who will bark her head off, at the very least, if you step in my yard (I also have a fence around my yard).

I think some people are already taking their search too far. That couple who went into the zoo after hours plead not guilty to trespassing. Claiming they were just searching for Pokemon. I doubt that will fly with the judge.

But to those who have common sense, I hope you have lots of fun searching for those Pokemon.

I have to admit, a portion of the reason I haven't replied to many posts the past few weeks is because of Pokemon. Lol. Far from the largest reason, but it is admittedly at least a small part of the reason!

My husband and I have been going out exploring different places and catching some Pokemon with what little downtime we have. It's been super fun! We've met a few new people, gone some places we've never gone before, enjoyed lots of exercise, and I'm even teaching some older people I know how to play! Lol. It's awesome. I love it. Been slacking a little this week, though. Puppies take up so much time, we haven't had as much time to go out. But they're just too cute, so I can't be mad.
