Hey, people. So, I have decided to do the 2015 reading challenge after I picked it up on Habit RPG (there's a post about it somewhere, made by Fearless), and I was wondering if anyone else would be up for it? Here is the list, if you want in, make your own and check things as you go!

_ A book with more than 500 pages
_ A classic romance
_ A book that became a movie
_ A book published this year
_ A book with a number in the title
_ A book written by someone under 30
_ A funny book
_ A book by a female author
_ A mystery or thriller
_ A book of short stories
_ A book set in a different country
_ A nonfiction book
_ A popular author's first book
_ A book a friend recommended
_ A Pulitzer Prize-winning book
_ A book your mom loves
_ A book at the bottom of your to-read list
_ A book that scares you - The case of Charles Dexter Ward, H. P. Lovecraft
_ A book more than 100 years old
_ A book you were supposed to read at school but didn't
_ A memoir
_ A book with antonyms in the title
_ A book set somewhere you've always wanted to visit
_ A book that came out the year you were born
_ A book with bad reviews
_ A trilogy
_ A book from your childhood
_ A book set in the future
_ A book set in high school
_ A book with a color in the title
_ A book that made you cry
_ A graphic novel
_ A book set during Xmas
_ A book written by an author with your same initials
_ A play
_ A banned book
_ A book based on or turned into a TV show
_ A book you started but never finished
_ A book with nonhuman characters
_ A book that was originally written in a different language
_ A book you own but have never read
_ A book by an author you've never read before
_ A book with magic
_ A book based entirely on its cover
_ A book with a one-word title
_ A book based on a true story
_ A book from an author you love that you haven't read yet
_ A book you can finish in a day
_ A book that takes place in your hometown
_ A book with a love triangle

Wow! That seems like a lot, but I'm really excited to try it, and working on my first book. Is anyone else going to try and do it? If so, it would be cool if we filled this out with the names of the books as we go!

I am so pumped for this concept. If we've already read books like that, can we check them off the list? xD Nah, just kidding. We gotta go through the 100% effort, eh? But let me tell you, the home town one will be impossible for me to find because I lived in Nowheresville, Nowhere Island xD
The public library will be seeing me a lot over the next while.

My List:

_ A book with more than 500 pages
_ A classic romance
_ A book that became a movie
_ A book published this year
_ A book with a number in the title
_ A book written by someone under 30
_ A funny book
_ A book by a female author (East / Norh Child - Edith Pattou)
_ A mystery or thriller
_ A book of short stories (Animal Stories - James Herriot)
_ A book set in a different country ( The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared - Jonas Jonasson) I recommend this one; made me laugh my ass off. I mean, an elephant!
_ A nonfiction book
_ A popular author's first book
_ A book a friend recommended
_ A Pulitzer Prize-winning book
_ A book your mom loves
_ A book at the bottom of your to-read list
_ A book that scares you -
_ A book more than 100 years old
_ A book you were supposed to read at school but didn't
_ A memoir
_ A book with antonyms in the title
_ A book set somewhere you've always wanted to visit
_ A book that came out the year you were born
_ A book with bad reviews
_ A trilogy
_ A book from your childhood
_ A book set in the future
_ A book set in high school
_ A book with a color in the title
_ A book that made you cry
_ A graphic novel (Blankets - Craig Thompson) made me want to erase it from my mind but I was bored in a library and it was there
_ A book set during Xmas
_ A book written by an author with your same initials
_ A play (Romeo and Juliet - Shakespeare)
_ A banned book
_ A book based on or turned into a TV show
_ A book you started but never finished
_ A book with nonhuman characters
_ A book that was originally written in a different language
_ A book you own but have never read
_ A book by an author you've never read before
_ A book with magic
_ A book based entirely on its cover
_ A book with a one-word title
_ A book based on a true story
_ A book from an author you love that you haven't read yet (The Silmarillion - J.R.R. Tolkien)
_ A book you can finish in a day
_ A book that takes place in your hometown
_ A book with a love triangle

Yay! Great to see you join. I hope more people do. I'll probably have trouble finding some of these as well, but I'm also really excited for this challenge. I just finished the first one of the list. =)

To start me off, do you have a book recommendation? You count as a friend, yes? c:
Also, it's going to be tough for me to find a book that makes me cry! I don't do it often reading books or movies. Plus my mom loves Fifty Shades of Gray but I'll just read that when Hell freezes over.

Actually, I do. =)

Try Cards on the table, by Agatha Christie. It's one of her best.

OH heck yah totally count me into the concept of insanity. So this is list for me starts at January First. IDK if that's right, be sure to tell me if it's not and I'll edit those out. Because I'm crazy and an avid reader I am so down for this. So I read like almost every night and I can usually read one book over the course of one to four days and a lot more on weekends when I'm bored, can't sleep or stressed so this list will be my fun times reading list, because I'm totally an absolute bookworm. I live and breath reading.... But if I should die attempting to read all of twilight. Then everyone will know why. (nothing against the books, just never been a fan). If you like twilight then that's awesome, I'm glad you do! =D I never did.

_ A book with more than 500 pages Born of Fury by Sherilyn Kennyon - Jan 1 to Jan 12
_ A classic romance Fantasy Lovers by Sherilyn Kennyon - February 2nd
_ A book that became a movie
_ A book published this year
_ A book with a number in the title
_ A book written by someone under 30
_ A funny book
_ A book by a female author Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon - February 10
_ A mystery or thriller
_ A book of short stories My big fat supernatural wedding - Jan 15 - 18
_ A book set in a different country
_ A nonfiction book
_ A popular author's first book
_ A book a friend recommended
_ A Pulitzer Prize-winning book
_ A book your mom loves
_ A book at the bottom of your to-read list
_ A book that scares you
_ A book more than 100 years old
_ A book you were supposed to read at school but didn't
_ A memoir
_ A book with antonyms in the title
_ A book set somewhere you've always wanted to visit
_ A book that came out the year you were born
_ A book with bad reviews
_ A trilogy
_ A book from your childhood
_ A book set in the future
_ A book set in high school Invincibility by Sherilyn Kenyon - February 18
_ A book with a color in the title
_ A book that made you cry
_ A graphic novel Dack Hunters Volume 1 through 4, infinity 1 and 2 - Jan 18 - 24
_ A book set during Xmas
_ A book written by an author with your same initials Mean Streets by Jim Butcher (JB are my initials) - February 19 - 20
_ A play
_ A banned book
_ A book based on or turned into a TV show
_ A book you started but never finished
_ A book with nonhuman characters
_ A book that was originally written in a different language
_ A book you own but have never read I will read Twilight in full if it kills me.... Which it very well might. Await development on this...
_ A book by an author you've never read before
_ A book with magic
_ A book based entirely on its cover
_ A book with a one-word title
_ A book based on a true story
_ A book from an author you love that you haven't read yet
_ A book you can finish in a day Inferno by Sherilyn Kenyon - February 12
_ A book that takes place in your hometown
_ A book with a love triangle

EDIT: My mother doesn't read... And I read every book assigned in high school... Even the ones I'd rather not read so can I pick one someone else didn't read in high school? And also since my mother wouldn't read a book to save her life can I pick someone else's favorite book? Maybe? Lol question emporium!

Shiny. It's what I was planning ;)

Thanky for the welcome! I added a few questions into my post, because I didn't want to spam the thread with a double post XD Man this is like the best thing ever this year. I love book lists. SOOO much.

I'm convincing everyone I possibly can to try the challenge, and will be tracking the progress on my personal blog as a way of making sure I don't give up. lol

And I have the same problem with my mom, and only one book I didn't read for school, so I guess, why not? =)

We'll help each other keep motivated! By updating this and stuff. It'll be fun. These things are always great. I used to do this with my best friend challenged her to reading the same book as me and we'd see who finished first for a can of free coke. It was fun. Lol.

SHINY!

I convinced my best friend to do it as well. He's an avid reader as well, and we'll encourage each other and give each other suggestions and all that jazz. And we can all leave this with a list of new books we want to read.

Even though my list is longer than Schindler's list by now. Basically, if it is a book (exceptions here: 50 shades of Grey and Twilight), I want to read it.

I'm in the same boat. If it's a book I want to read it... I'm sooo into books. Except there is no power strong enough to EVER convince me to even pick up 50 shades of gray. I just won't.

I'm beginning to read Mean Streets: an anthology of detective stories. It has Jim Butcher in it. HUGE fan of his work...

I did pick it up (my cousin has a copy, I would never buy it). I don't remember if I finished the second page. Probably not.

My current one is 'The secret history of MI6', by historian Keith Jeffery. I love History.

Four down! I read them all in late December / January / February, I hope that counts.

Also I just noticed the 'book you were supposed to read in school' one. Damn. I had hope I'd escaped reading 'To Kill A Mockingbird'.

I recommend 'The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared'. It is such a funny, random book that made me laugh very hard. It's very whimsical, the kind of book that you can't put down, and whenever something happens you think, "oh no, what are they doing now?!" I also learned some history as well.

Ccould 'Hummingbirds of North America' technically, technically be set in my home town because it's mentioned that hummingbirds live in that place? I'm desperate here |D
