I finally got one of my degrees today (at least one of them) :D

Even when I still got so much to do and some growing up to catch up on, this is a huge mile stone I just surpassed. My family's history is nearly 500 years old and I am proud to say that I am the first to graduate from college. From here I hope I can continue to work hard, be resilient, persistent, consistent, and inspire others.

I adopted out one of the kittens I'm fostering today; seeing the family's daughter smile and jump for joy over her new friend was so great.

edit: another thing that made me happy (just didn't want to double post): the restaurant at which I had my previous parttime job is closing. Which is so great because I was treated pretty badly there. So I wish them all the bad luck and misfortune they can have ^^

I went swimming with my sister, her boyfriend, and my niece (she's 3 months, so it was her first 'real' swim). It was such a nice day, water was great, and I still feel refreshed.

A great number of things have been making me happy lately!

I got a really super nice reference from my former employer and lots of kind words from my former colleagues. I did really great on a presentation I did in my Rotary club and my parents were super proud. I've spoken and written much more Japanese lately, which is so cool. I'm slowly starting to feel like I am actually moving out and am making plans for how to somehow turn a dorm room into a home and it's so much fun. So yes, I've been really happy lately!

I heard from the family I had adopted that kitten out to. He's settling in so nicely, they love him! :D It feels good to know that he went to such a loving family.

Finally taking off my braces today makes me feel so happy and freeeeeeeeeeee! I shall eat and enjoy all the foods now! ahaha
