Welcome Agents

I am Director..Thompson..Yeah..Let's go with that.

I, as your Director will be taking the time out of my VERY busy schedule. To explain to you fine men and women. What we exactly do at C.U.L.T.

First off. We are not a cult.

Cause a real cult doesn't offer crappy government health insurance...Like some damn organization we know.

Alright enough with the ranting. Time to get down to business Agents.

Founded on October 13th, 1968. Yes I know one year before the moon landing. Also yes it was founded on Friday the 13th. Also..you are not getting paid to ask me dumb questions. To be honest. Your not not getting paid at all, just kidding...

Covert
.
United
.
Logistics
.
Task-force

Yes I have no idea why Logistics is part of our name.

So back to the grand scheme of things.

So back during the golden age of the Cold War. America, Russia, China, and every other nation. Were in a chess game. That all of them sucked at. One power would move a knight. While the other took a pawn, and then they **** at eachother. Then scream "CHEATER" at the top of their lungs. Of course this is just a dumb down description. Of how 40 some years of violence went down, but we like to think at the Agency. Humanity is a bunch of morons. So..How do we fit into this? Well it is safe to say that there has always been a fascination with the paranormal. Said fascination has been shared by world leaders, and governments across the decades.

Prime example would be WW2.

It is no secret that Hitler had a slight...very slight obsession with the Paranormal. He even made it a point to have special divisions dedicated to research of said paranormal stuff. Fast foreword to the 1950's. Russia and America were practicing their own case studies into the unknown. The problem is. They were inadequate at handling whatever they tried to study. So in 1968. The UN decided that a worldwide, government sanctioned, organisation would be formed to handle such cases. So that no one country would be in control of such power, if said power existed.

So a year before the great space race ended. Our organization began to form from selected "volunteers" whom were gifted with unique abilities. Such abilities consisted of well how to put it. THE FREAKIEST CRAP YOU HAVE EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE. If you knew how much did exist beneath the noses of the civilized world. You would probably hide under a blanket for the rest of your life. Apparently there has been a lot of hidden life on this planet, and our governments knew about it oddly enough. So maybe Hitler wasn't a crazy person..

We do not support Nazis...just making that clear.

So anyway. The realm of the paranormal..and other weird ****. Does exsist, and we have been investigating it across the globe for some time now. We as Agents travel freely, and have full jurisdiction. Even above the C.I.A. Those smug bastards. We are of course blacklisted, and we have no real homes to go back to. In fact we do not even exist on any documented file. The only way to contact us if you know someone who knows us.If you do. Please no damn prank phone calls..We are more then happy to use lethal force, and have made people disappear before.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

So besides that Agent. You know the rules, you know the setting, and you know the games we play.

1. We do not exsist.

2. We do not leave footprints.

3. We do not leave fingerprints.

4. We are shadows

5. Our past lives mean nothing.

6. Our pay sucks, but we never have to pay for any expenses...

So with that in mind. This is Director Jones signing off...Good Luck Agents, and god speed!

Character Agents for

"The Lonesome"

Bio for Agents/ creatures in the 1x1 rp

Name: Agent Jim and Agent Jones

Race: Human

Gender: Male and Female

Hair color:

Jim - Brown hair

Jones- Blond Hair

Eye color:

Jim- Brown Eyes

Jones- Blue Eyes

Height:

Jim- 5'8

Jones- 5'4

Weight:

Jim- 185 pounds

Jones- 124 pounds

Notable features:

Both Jim and Jones are rather plain looking individuals. Like many agents, both partners are a custom keeping up the appearence of ordinary citizens. From simple blues jeans, tea shirts, polo shirts, dresses, and anything else to keep their features dull. In this aspect it makes a Agent's job much more easier when they track, or investigate into the unknown. Besides those basic descriptions of their characters. Everything else is rather generic about the agents, but again that is the idea.

Personality:

What is the best way to describe both Agents.

Day

Jim is a very social physiologist.

and

Night

Is a very anti-social phyco with a gun

Background:

Both Agents have been enlisted in the services of C.U.L.T for quiet some time now. The both of them have been across the globe several times. In places where it's better off not to describe the things they have done. Like several teams, both agents are veterans of what it takes to be a member of C.U.L.T Again, as Director I would like ot keep things vague due to the secrecy of their existence. Besides that, good lucky agents.

Bio for Agents/ creatures in the 1x1 rp

"The Wolf and the Herder

Name: Lock and Lou

Race: Human

Gender: Male and Female

Hair color:

Lock has brown hair

Lou has Red

Eye color:

Lock has Green eyes

Lou has blue eyes

Height:

Lock is about 5'6

Lou is about 5'9

Weight:

Lock is about 114 pounds

Lou is about 212 pounds

Notable features:

Again like most Agents. Lock and Lou are very much dull, and simple in nature. Their choice of clothing, and choice of even where they eat is very predictable. They are not your martini shaking spies, or well dressed hitmen. No our agents are truly simple looking people who can hide in a crowd.

Personality:

Agent Lock is well versed, highly educated woman who's ability to handle complicated problems. Had made her as a negotiator, and well respected Agent in C.U.L.T. She is calm, cold calculated, and holds her temper well.

Agent lou on the other hand is very much so a ghost in the machine. His personality is sometimes of a robot, almost none existence. Dry, and described as hard to sometimes understand. When dealing with Agent Lou. You better off talking to a brick wall.

Background:

Lock spent a good amount of time working for certain people we rather not explain. Ok so at some point in her career, she may of helped with a few political assignations. Also a couple missing person cases..Also she kinda is not aloud in certain islands..Forget I described anything.

Lou...He hears voices, voices that belong to those long past dead...Did I mention our Agents are interesting people?

Name: Christoph (Chris) Blake
Race: Werewolf
Gender: Male
Hair colour: Brown
Eye colour: light brown
Height: average
Weight: slightly lighter than average
Image
Notable features: A lean young man with a downcast gaze. Wouldn’t stand out in a crowd at all. He has a scar over his ribs at the left side, but his clothes hide it perfectly well.
Personality: A little withdrawn, he doesn’t talk much. Often seems a little worried about something, but evades talking about it. Friendly and helpful. Would immediately help up a child that has tripped and try to make it smile. Appears to be well educated.
Background: He lives at the very edge of a small village outside of London. Inside a small house that could almost be called a hut at the edge of a large forest he lives alone. He makes a living from doing odd jobs for the villagers. This ranges from simple stuff like playing with the kids in the park while the mother is going grocery shopping to helping fix a roof. The villagers trust him enough to leave him with the kids for a few hours in a park but not enough to leave him inside the house with the kids, not that he would do anything strange. That’s just how villagers are towards outsiders. Chris was not born in the village nor raised nor does he have any family there. To the villagers he is a harmless, useful in some cases, outsider. When he doesn’t have a ‘job’ to do, he walks around the village and can be ‘hired’ on the spot. Sometimes he is not seem for a day or two, which make people think that maybe he get sick easily, yet nobody worries enough to go to his hut and check it out. The way that Chris handles himself also makes quite clear that he doesn’t really like visitors. The gossiping ladies think that this is because of the mess of a single man and maybe some magazines that are not for public eyes.
The villagers do not know that Chris is actually from a pretty well off family called Blakesley and that the hut and the adjacent forest belongs to his family (they think it is nature aka state property). This is why he can afford to live there, because he doesn’t have to pay rent. The money he gets from the villagers are enough to pay for his relatively low living costs, like food, electricity, and stuff. It is well know however that no matter the job, he charges £0,50 per hour. To some this may seem expensive but the earnings are just enough so that he is able to pay for his daily necessities which they all can understand somehow. And those that find it too expensive simply don’t hire him.

The Roanoke Island colony, the first English settlement in the New World, was founded by English explorer Sir Walter Raleigh in August 1585. The first Roanoke colonists did not fare well, suffering from dwindling food supplies and Indian attacks, and in 1586 they returned to England aboard a ship captained by Sir Francis Drake. In 1587, Raleigh sent out another group of 100 colonists under John White. White returned to England to procure more supplies, but the war with Spain delayed his return to Roanoke. By the time he finally returned in August 1590, everyone had vanished.

In 1998, archaeologists studying tree-ring data from Virginia found that extreme drought conditions persisted between 1587 and 1589. These conditions undoubtedly contributed to the demise of the so-called Lost Colony, but where the settlers went after they left Roanoke remains a mystery. One theory has them being absorbed into an Indian tribe known as the Croatans.

Thank you History channel, you disgusting sellouts.

Alright Agents. So, how to describe this case...

Back in the spring of 2016. A teaser trailer had come out for some jump scare filled horror movie.

The theme of the movie was your generic plot line of college kids deciding to use their spring break to explore the Roanoke museum. A large island where a historic foundation was set up to preserve the historic "lost colony". From what we know, filming has not gone too well. Apparently Hollywood is having a tough time trying to keep cast and crew on set do to mysterious "incidents" on set. So now that is out of the way. We have been called in after the director pleaded with the production company for some help.

We have sorta of a history with Hollywood. One that is filled with weird stories, and just dumb moves on their part. Anyway! With this all in mind. I like to say we have a simple operation for our Agents.

1. Arrive at the site of the filming.
2. Interview the cast and crew.
3. Figure out what the hell is going on and handle it to the best of our abilities.

Name: Issa Barrie (Baroness)

Race: Human hybrid (Secondary species not yet identified*)

Gender: Female

Hair color: Black/Brown

Eye color: Hazel

Height: 5’5”

Weight: 120lbs

Notable features:

Extensive tattoo work (most consistent images logged, though they are not always present, and they don’t always like to sit still. Worse than cats, some of them.)

Personality:

Stoic. Private. Ambitious.

Her nearly militant attitude earned her the nickname of The Baroness. Issa is a ‘speak when spoken to’ and ‘death before dishonor’ operative. Social nuances and their purpose remain elusive to her (or at least she views them as a waste of time). She is defined instead by her lack of personal endeavors and her dedication. Any social situation where roles are not clearly defined leave her out of her element. In forced social situations, it is unclear if she is uncomfortable thanks to a deadpan stare and a default silence.

While she can be an effective member of any team, Agent Barrie often leaves others uncomfortable as she finds no need for interaction outside of mission objectives. The less observant will often find her cold and uncaring, though they are mistaking her focus for aloofness. Her directness is also mistaken for bluntness, which can lead to confrontation.

Though quiet, there is no mistaking her ambition. While some would label her as by the book, they couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, despite regulations and laws, Issa believes that everything should be open to questioning and reevaluation. She has proven in the past that she will often act unilaterally to enact her technically superior, sometimes insensitive, and almost always unorthodox methods and ideas. Regardless of all else, Issa will bring closure with an almost fanatical devotion to resolution.

Background:

Adopted ward of Seattle-based psychologist Dr. Erin H. Barrie, Issa was a child survivor of a human trafficking raid conducted in 1998 in Bucharest. Along with the other survivors of the operation, no background or identifying information was able to be obtained.

A 1999 psychological evaluation listed Issa at risk of psychopathic tendencies stemming from trauma and abuse likely sustained in her life prior to 1998. With no known way to verify her history, and with Issa classified as a mute, the early files caution a lack of emotion and empathy found in base evaluations with severe underlying trauma. With other survivors able to verify stories of an enviroment with violent murders and torture, she was recommended for intensive inpatient care. Instead, Dr. Barrie turned Issa into his pet project. Within two years, Issa was nearly a poster child for independent, person-centered therapy.

After a final psychological evaluation, Issa was released into the care of Dr. Barrie and adopted in 2000. In 2004, genetic testing concluded that Issa was a near perfect match for remains found in an archeological dig in Athens*. A private organization became interested in Issa later that year. Dr. Barrie proved to be reluctant to their multiple attempts to coeerse him into sending Issa into their care. In 2007, an unsuccessful attempt was made on Dr. Barrie’s life that resulted in the deaths of 8 assailants. A string of several attacks afterwards (and corresponding corpses) led to the disappearance of both Dr. Barrie and his ward from conventional society.

*In 1973 construction for a new substation in Kolonos, a neighborhood in Athens, Greece, unearthed a previously undiscovered archeological site. Archeological finds are a dime a dozen in the historic city, and the foundation of the building (a subterranean structure) and the murals were logged with several artifacts. While artifacts and images went to local museums (and illegally to collectors), the prized possession that remained in more discerning hands was the perfectly preserved remains of limb: a human-like female right arm that was first mistaken for being charred black but was found to naturally be a dark inky pigment. The claw-like hand was still clutched around a rusted hilt of a ceremonial weapon, suggesting some sort of burial had taken place.

Genetic testing was inconclusive, as it came up with no known matches human or other known species. Further testing revealed a species that is resistant to most human diseases and cells that redesign themselves rather than age.

Strike Team Detachment: Echo

Code name: Templar

Founding members:

Francis Paul Chevalier - Deceased

Martinez Eliot Santiago - N/A

Michel Richard DuPont - M.I.A

Lisa Ann Bernard - Retired

Current Members:

Joseph G. Cross- Squad Leader

Matthew E. Johnson- Marskmen

Katelyn L. Martinez - Auto Riflemen

Mikhail O. Belyakov- Medic

Ella Lois Santiago- Demo/Tech operation

Detachment's History:

Through out the years. There are several Strike Teams that have formed within the ranks of C.U.L.T.

Many of them are normally highly efficient, well kept, and respected among their battle brothers and sisters.

Yet there is one Team that stands out among the rest.

That Team would be Detachment Echo, better known as Templar.

Co-Founded by two former Tier 1 operators.

Francis Paul Chevalier

Martinez Eliot Santiago

This detachment formed as direct result of the religious nature of both operators. That and also the Catholic's churches concern of the protection of ancient holy relics, and religious bastions of humanity.

Sanctioned and Blessed by the Pope himself. This detachment took up the mantle of the Knights Templar.

French Knight during the Crusades who fought to claim the holy land.

This detachment through out the years has seen several tours of combat. Ranging from hives of undead creatures. To warding off strange beasts that even this agency has had hard times documenting. Now before things are too one sided. I would like to make one thing clear.

We are a United Nations founded group that boast a multicultural taskforce filled with staff from all backgrounds. We do not follow one single religion or path in life, but instead operate under the guidelines that all things in the world are filled with weird ****. **** that sometimes may need a firm hand of god to crush said **** with a mighty hammer. That or a 50.cal round from a barret. Besides that, back to our description of this detachment.

The member roster of the Templar's has shifted and fluxated through out the years.

Many members have died off, while others dissapeared. None the less their creed and presence within the agency is a strong reminder of the types of men and women we have fighting for our planet. There are several agents and strike team members. Who do share common beliefs and bonds over their cultures and religions.

You get the point...Please get the point or I will send you into a dark pit filled with tentacles...

Their new members have currently been operating abroad aiding missionaries in 3rd world countries. Yes I know missionaries are meant to be peaceful and such, but the extra fire power the Templar's provide is smarter then sending unarmed people. We have asked them to accompany our lone agent on this operation due to certain...situations that may occur.
