Hey guys,

So this is probably one of the most difficult things I had to do, but I thought about it a lot lately. The following decision was discussed with couple other people and the end result of our conversations I believe I made the right decision, and if I didn't then I am sorry in advance.

I am closing this RP.

We all came from way back and have created a marvelous unfinished piece of art. The credit for such accomplishment goes to every writer who was involved in Beyond an Unholy Resistance. Even those who contributed with a post or two made as much of a great impact as the rest.

But we have a complicated, grand story to write and without enough backup in this group, this story will go nowhere. We have lost our greatest characters and with the recent leave of Rhandom1 due to his illness, and girly2k who we have not heard of in two weeks, I do not know how our story can continue existing, if more drop. Yes, there are tons of group RPs out there that needed no more than four people to write them, but the writers we have lost ARE the very soul of our story, including the remaining ones: Gunther's, Isolde's, GreyHelm's and Mines. I could recruit some more new writers but I know it won't be the same because not every one of them will be willing to read 13 pages of written posts. I could write them a synopsis but it still will not be the same as if they've been there since the start. Maybe I am wrong.

By all means, should you guys feel the need to cross-over with your characters to create new stories, go ahead? My two characters are going with them and BaUr will forever ink their history anywhere they go because this is how much I personally adored writing with you all. Honestly the best writers I have ever had a chance to write with.

If anyone else has anything they want to share, go ahead, I'll be around to read and respond.

Thank you so much, all of you, for giving life to the idea behind BaUr which I once had in mind, in August 2014. This story idea was nourished by my great passion for the WWII events.

You know, now each one of you could give an ending to BaUr in their heads, lol. Personally, I want to see Zanzibar defeated but never forever gone. In some other age, he would come back stronger than ever. Asmodeus was going to be forced to team up with Zanzibar for a while because Z possessed his seal and would do with him what he wanted. Any harm done to Z would triple damage Asmodeus but maybe I would have found a way to free Asmodeus from Zanzibar at the end and have him repent. He would be damned to roam the earth immortal, for all the sin, but God would be forgiving enough to let him live, without powers. Revert to Nephilim? As for Luciano, I had plans for him but now I would never know.

How about your ending?

Note: If anyone desires to make a final post go ahead.

Sad to see baur. So much potential.so much growth as writers. I never approach a project with failure in mind and not finishing this epic tale stings. But life happens. Wishing you all well.

While I was only along for a brief portion of the ride, I was sad to see BaUR close. Thank you all for taking me in and for letting me portray such an awesomely heinous character. I had a lot of fun writing Z, and I greatly enjoyed being a part of this with all of you.

Learning a simple lesson isn't always simple. Sometimes, you have to slowly lose everything great around you to understand the gravity of your shortcomings. Admit that your egos have grown too large, that you've lost your sense of what you realistically are, and maybe you can repair the road that has broken beneath the weight of your failings. Or maybe you'll just keep going as you've gone, and you'll learn nothing, and eventually, everything around you will become dust. To be honest, that's by far the likeliest of all outcomes.

YTD, it is still the only RP you and I have been in together. Especially since you threatened me with a Rainbow Six RP at one time in the past year.

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes. "
