"She might have taken off a good ways, dear," says John after waiting a few moments for some kind of response from the young woman who darted off. "If she can hear she might be too scared to come out, no thanks to that old man." He lets out a sigh of frustration from the way the day has been going so far, which was not exactly what he was expecting. It's been like one giant circus being here. The estate, the security check, that guard Erynn, Jaime the head servant, even Ambrosia seems to be acting a bit off since we got here. He looks to his wife and carefully scans her eyes to get any kind of sign of whether or not he was just being dramatic or if there really is some sort of shift in her behavior. He trusts her completely and even though there is an understanding between them that they both have complete control over their own minds and actions, which allows them to fully learn each other, John can not help but feel like there is something going on that he is in the dark about. She thinks him to be oblivious to those moments where she does something not quite usual for her behavior but he never misses anything with her, which he has yet to fully engage her about.

Ambrosia gave a spiteful snort at the young girl in the tall grass being able to resist the call of the Siren. Most normal humans cannot resist unless they have an exceptionally strong power of will, which many humans lack as she has discovered over the years. This would bring the obvious conclusion that this young girl is either not entirely human or she has a very strong mind, which both peaks the interest of the luring siren as well as frustrates her that her power does not work on another person. There are many creatures out there who have been able to resist the call as well as humans, but it still surprises her when she comes across another. "She can hear me," Ambrosia lets the words slip out of her lips before she is able to stop herself, hoping John did not hear it and is relieved that his attention is caught by the unexpected announcement of someone else arriving.

This day just gets better and better, John thinks to himself as he turns around to announcement of the man from the sheriff's department, quickly noticing the newcomer's hand on top of his holster. A quick look at the badge on the man's chest tells John that this person in fact the sheriff, "Is it the policy around these parts for everyone to be so trigger happy," he asked in a slightly sarcastic tone as his heartbeat quickened at the situation that seems to be getting a bit out of hand. "We could use your help maybe," he says in a matter of fact tone to try and calm himself down, "there is a young woman running around out here with not much in the way of clothing on and right before you showed up she took off. Apart from that, we are ok. We're new to town," he gestures towards Ambrosia who is currently giving the sheriff a stern look in the eyes, not trusting what sort of mindset this man might have. "I just inherited the Verance estate here, I'm Johnny Verance, great-grandson of Corann Verance who passed away recently. Pleasure to meet you, Sheriff..."

It had been John's comment that caused Matt to ease his hand off his holster. Matt realized that enough violence, and death had occurred today, and he wasn't about to be the cause of another. He nodded towards John, after the man commented about some type of girl being lost in the woods. "Yeah, these woods can be rather treacherous." Responded Matt as he glared over at the woods on his side, and back towards John. He was somewhat lost in his mindset, and didn't even notice when John with a hesitant nudge, asked Matt's name. "Oh sorry, you can call me Matt. " The sheriff then turned his attention on the vehicle that was parked beside John. "Ashley?" He recognized the girl right away. Wasn't hard to miss a six foot something teenager in those types of clothes.

His eyes squinted, and his brow furrowed. He even shot back a glare towards Ambrosia. Something was not right, and he didn't like it. He stood there for a moment or two. His gaze switched in between the girl and the married couple a few times. He knew Ashley was a strong girl, and could handle herself if she needed to, but still. Matt decided to handle the situation in a more civil manner. "I can have a couple deputies with a k-9 unit out here in about ten minuets or so. If you would like to get back in your vehicle, and take Miss Ashley there back to town. I would greatly appreciate it. He waved towards Ashley, and gave her a reassuring smile. "Me and my deputies can handle the search party from here." Matt was still concerned for the welfare and well being of the girl, but if there was someone lost in the woods. He had a duty to that poor soul as well.

It was then in the corner of his eyes that some small child appeared out of the woods. A girl, about the age of 10, dressed in what looked to be be colonial era garb. "What the hell!?" Matt thought as he turned around on his side. "Hello!?" Matt then turned back towards the couple. "Is that the girl?" The expression on his face read that of confusion, and uncertainty. He then turned back towards the girl who now was in arms length of the group. "Miss, do you need help?" That was when she gave a soft shake of the head, and smirked a wicked smirk.

It was she finnaly broke her silence, and with eerie voice that chilled the soul. She uttered a phrase that even caused Matt to freeze in place.

"Mother Netta..Mother Netta..She is here, don't you cry..Mother Netta..Mother Netta..She will have her revenge..."

Is was then that loud laughter broke the silence of the red eye woods. Laughter of children that rode on the winds that chilled the air..rode on the tongs of forgotten whispers. It flowed through the branches and leaves of the tall trees that stood silent among the red eye woods. Across the soft meadows and through the ears of those who called the town home. There was no defining it. Eversprings was now in a midst of a awakening, once which would bring the town into a place. A place that it has not been for a very..very long time.

It was another sudden shock of energy that caused Issac to come crashing down against the desk. His body surged and pulsated with energy as he felt every hair on his body scream out in pain. His lips became dry, and his eyes almost rolled back into his head. The sudden burst of power caused his very being to spasm in pure agony. He screamed out towards Lerisa. "There is a special case...in my office!" He felt another jolt to his very being, which caused him to rise to his feet, and slam his hands on her desk. "Please! Bring it here!!!" There was indeed something wrong, something not right that afflicted him so.

This was a old pain. One which he recalled from his childhood. The years he spent at his aunt's old Victorian home. The days spent locked in his room, throttled to the ground, and gripped in pure agony. The amount of energy, of activity. The torment and anguish even as a young man in his college years. Issac was no stranger to this sense of pain, but even this knolwedge did not bring him any comfort. No it was the special use of some unique medicine. A special serum created in a lab by some friends of his who understood his gift. Once consumed. The serum aloud his body to silence a part of his gift. At least somewhat to the point he could go home, and take a very special bath.

This pain was also followed by the sounds of children's laughter, and the whispers of those lost to the wind.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A young girl dressed in overalls and a red shirt appeared in front of Skarnik Her hair was blond and short. Her eyes a shade of baby blue. She looked around the age of 12, and smelled of strawberries. She stood before the old man in his weakened form. She eyed him with a soft smile on her porcelain face. She glared at him in silence, her eyes focused on his wound. Then back on the filthy fool. She lifted her arm, and pointed her hand towards the Blue Moon Bar. The silence was rather eerie and unnatural. Yet even if she did not speak. It was clear of her intentions. She was sent there to guide the unstable bastard of a goblin. She then turned her head up towards the sky. As if she was waiting for something, and then it happened. The wind began to pick up with that same chill that awoke the goblin earlier that day. The sounds of children's laughter, and hushed whispers filled the air.

It was if something had begun to call out towards the town. Something determined. Something old. Older then any creature, yet had been in that town for a very long time.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Cait's son was about to reply to the girls about the treatment of his brothers. A sudden change in the air caught the boy off guard. He shook, as well did the rest of his family. Tommy, who still stood behind the bar, turned towards his mother. He gave her a stern look and Cait returned it with a stern look of her own. There was something up, and it was not a very good omen. They had felt this before in the town, but never like this. Yet she would not allow it to interrupt her business. That and her bar was a rather "unique" place in town. It was fitted with special symbols, and totems that warded against dark magic. That and protected against the more "unstable of evil spirits". This was the home of her clan, and a special location for folk of all kind to rest their weary heads. That and aswell as a nice place for humans to settle down from a rough day. Unaware of the friends and good company they shared it with.

She decided to approach the two girls enjoying their meals. "Hello dears. How are you enjoying your meal we prepared for you this afternoon?" She said in her sweet,Irish rose of a accent. She was a kind woman, Cait. Yet there was a darker side to her. A more primal side only reserved for those too brain dead to realize who she was. In fact Cait and her clan had lived in the town of Eversprings for quiet some time now. Long enough that their clan of Irish born Americans were a normal mainstay in the town. Every now and then there be a fight at her bar, or a accident caused by one of her sons. Yet it was all in good spirit, and even the folk respected their place in the town.

It was the sudden whispers that echoed and pounded against her bar's walls. That caused her to glare a bit at the entrance of her bar. She wasn't sure what wanted in, but if it meant harm to her. Those she cared about, or even her adopted family known as her bar patrons. The unwelcome guess would be introduced to one rather ferocious mama wolf.

Tanya was not coming out at all costs. She was safer hiding in the brair patch than anywhere else. If anyone would try to get to her, they would have to start cutting away pieces of the briar patch itself. That would alert her to someone was coming for her. Plus the briar patch had nice long sharp pointy thorns and balls of prickly burrs. Yes, she was safe in a briar patch.

She heard the woman speak and it reminded her of another person who was very cruel to others. She would not trust anyone who had such a musical voice ever again. Tanya did not even care for music because of that woman. Now here is a second woman who had such a voice.
Tanya held her ears tighter and tried to block out the musical voice. Maybe if she stuffed her ears with the grass? But she couldn’t reach the grass……..She heard some movement in the grass. She raised her head cautiously to see a rabbit move quickly passed her. Now the rabbit was fine but what was the rabbit fleeing from is what worried Tanya. She knew that the briar patch was a good hiding place for many creatures including snakes. Some snakes were ok because they could not harm her. But if it was the one with a rattle, well that one could kill her dead. She just had to find out and quickly.
Tanya knew that the two humans most likely wouldn’t try to cone into the briar patch which meant that for the moment, she was safe from them. She slowly move her head about to see if there was a snake in her viewing area. One must move slowly so that one doesn’t startle the snake. There was none what she could see and she had to remember that she couldn’t look at the snake in the eyes because she might be hypnotized by the snake. If she was hypnotized by the snake, she surely would be bite. She shudders as she remembers the one time she was bit in the conservatory. She was very lucky because the sack of poison was taken out the snake. But that snake held on for nearly forever! It took a long time to get the snake off of her leg. Her leg bled and bled then hurt for a very long time. She did not want to get bit by a snake again. It might have its sack of poison!
Tanya began to turn about in the briar patch very slowly and kept her eyes moving from the ground and to the vines for snakes can climb as well. Small movements which might not alert the snake if there was one…. Out of a corner of one eye was a movement! It was just starting to climb the vine…. Her hand reached out as her eyes watched for the right opportunity to grab the snake behind the head. Easy does it….now wait….. her hand snapped out and caught the back of the head of the snake. Her other hand grabbed the body of the snake and slid down the long body until she found the end of the tail. She felt the hard rattle and knew that she had it.
Tanya slow made her way out of the brambles and away from the road. It was hard to do but she moved as quick as possible so she could get rid of the snake.
Once Tanya was out, she stood and raised the rattler over her head, let the tail go and began to swing the snake around above her head when she saw the man from the house that was on fire! She was scared now as she swung the snake around her head. She wanted the snake to be dizzy before she let it go so it wouldn’t find her.
When Tanya let the snake go, she saw little humans that were singing a song about Mother Netta who ever that was. The song sent shivers up her back as she looked at the children who kept appearing out of no where. She was spell bound by the sight and forgot that she could be seen in all of her splendid glory.

As Skarsnik wandered around Eversprings, blood pouring out of his arm his vision getting blurry and he started feeling lightheaded. He was about to give up and return back to his hidden cave, when out of nowhere a spirit once more appeared to him it was a child. Female and human she said nothing just looked deep into his soul and then raised her arm in the direction of the blue moon bar. She never said a word but Skarsnik knew she wasn't like all the other wretched humans that inhabit this place. He knew that even though it was a ghost that she wanted to help him, something he never thought possible from a human. As Skarsnik looked back toward the girl she looked into the sky and the wind started acting crazy as if she was controlling mother nature herself and as soon as she appeared she had disappeared leaving Skarsnik one choice.

He slowly made his way to the blue moon bar, as he got closer to the building he could feel a wave of energy that only got stronger with every step closer. As he got to the front door the power he felt was almost overwhelming he decided to enter and as he did he felt his magic returning with a little extra added kick. He rushed over to the bathroom got in a stall and started channeling the power through his body and using it to heal his arm. Skarsnik started feeling pain like electricity shooting through his body his human form wasn't able to hold on to this much power, he needed to leave before his human form disintegrates and he is left in his goblin form as a last ditch effort he tried to release some of his magical energy. It started to work he felt at peace once more no more pain and his energy reserve was back up and he was ready to get back to his task. he left the bathroom and hurried out of the building before the power overwhelms him as he knew if he channeled it all he could level every building on this street. He knew that's not what he wanted yet. He needed to be incognito for now and once more he was back wandering the streets, and the only thing on his mind was that little ghost that helped him he was curious as to where she came from and who sent her all he knew for certain was that he wasn't going to stop until he finds her again. She had a power to her that drew skarsnik's attention it was a power that he hadn't felt in a long time. This chance meeting with the ghost could be just what skarsnik had been waiting for. If he could find this ghost again and whoever sent her to him he wouldn't need any more magical artifacts he would be able to draw power from them and he could help them he did after all have access to a dark and dangerous magic that could return the ghost to a flesh based body of her choosing, animal or human or both he has after all had some experience merging living things together. A task that skarsnik enjoys thoroughly as it causes untold pain to both creatures until one has full dominance over both.

Kori and Yuki continued their back and forth banter between bites of their food, stopping only when it seemed that the young man was going to speak, no doubt to answer Yuki's comment about the treatment he received from his brothers. He was interrupted, however, by a sudden change in the air. The two girls shivered, then looked at one another. Kori frowned, nodding to the look in her sister's eyes, which told her that she was worried about this change. What was causing it? She wondered, but she had no answer, outside of the fact that it was nothing good. She then looked around the room, noticing that they weren't the only ones who had noticed the change. Several other patrons seemed to have experienced a sort of chill, and the woman who ran the bar, along with her sons, also seemed to notice. This couldn't mean anything good.

A few moments later, the woman approached them and asked how they were enjoying their meal. "It's excellent, thank you!" Yuki was quick to respond in a cheerful voice, hiding the worry she felt. "The sake was a nice touch," she added with a smile. Kori heard the question but said nothing, nor did she bother to smile or even acknowledge the words. Her attention was focused not on the woman, but whatever was outside the walls of this bar, a small frown on her face. She could feel it. It felt as though something were pounding on the walls of the bar. Evidently the woman also felt it, as she glared at the entrance.

"What do you suppose is causing this?" she asked the older woman curiously. Could she have continued talking about the food? Sure. But why would she? Whatever was out there, whatever was going on, it was big and it felt ominous. She couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was coming. She couldn't just ignore it. Yuki gave her a look, but she ignored it. If the woman could feel it, then there was no harm in asking. Not really. "Honestly. You're as straightforward as ever. One day you should really consider learning proper social etiquette or some social skills," Yuki sighed, shaking her head a little.

"Why?" Kori asked, quirking a brow. "Because! If you go around ignoring people and speaking so bluntly, no one is ever going to like you," Yuki answered and Kori shrugged. "Is that a problem?" Kori asked once more, to which Yuki dropped her head and sighed. "I guess not. Still, you could at least try not to embarrass me with your lack of social skills," Yuki added, gaining another slightly confused look from Kori. "Why does it embarrass you? Does it really matter that much?" she asked in response, but Yuki just shook her head, her shoulders drooping in a defeated manner. "Nevermind."

"Whatever. I hardly think this is the time for social lessons. I think there are more important things to think about. My lack of social skills, as you call it, is nothing new," Kori reminded her sister. "Yeah, I guess. I wonder what that was... It didn't feel like anything good," Yuki replied, turning her own gaze to the entrance.

The tension in the moment seemed to lift a bit for John once the sheriff had decided to move his hand away from the holster and take on a much more approachable demeanor, making the comment about the woods in which John responds, "Yeah, who knows what kind of trouble lurks throughout these parts." He thinks back to the manor his great-grandfather has passed onto him, how easy it would have been to stumble around the wooded area without knowing just how close one would have come to its outer wall, the massive estate that somehow stays unnoticed to the eyes of untrained observers. If that can remain hidden, as I have been told, he thinks to himself, what else could be out here that no one is unaware of. The sound of the sheriff's voice brought the young man back to the current situation and smiled slightly as the uniformed officer gave his name, a gesture that John appreciates. It was the mentioning of the name "Ashley," as well as the sheriff's newly attained point of focus that brought back the situation to its entirety; strange people, weird behavior, some sort of dark and mysterious feeling under everything. As much as John tries to ignore the last feeling, it grips him and won't shake off no matter how hard he tries. It has grown over the years, the sensation of being able to feel some kind of deeper connection with the world around him. Of course, getting the budding druid to admit to such a fantastical idea would be nearly impossible, even Ambrosia hasn't been able to get it out of him. He knows there is someone out there who can do that for him, explain what exactly has been happening to him lately but he is not ready to meet that yet. The euphoria that comes from these connections has gotten to him even though he does not yet know what they mean. Fear and enjoyment coupled together makes a high unlike anything he has ever felt before and so far; This place is ripe with mystery.

So when Matt brought up the notion of bringing in a k-9 unit for a search party, John was a bit taken back when he was tasked with taking Ashley, as the young girl was apparently recognized as, back into town. He knows something, the desire to burst out with a single question passed through his head in a matter of moments but the urge is still there as he looks towards his wife who shoots back a fiery gaze. As does she, he thinks with a slightly contemptuous note that this woman that he loves so much is harboring many secrets that he yearns for.

"We were heading out that way anyways, dear," she responds to his look with one of her that told the keenest observers that she just as oblivious to things as the world wants to pretend that it is. She knew that this man could see beyond that though, her John. The act was not for him though and she knew that he knew that as well. There are some secrets that are not ready to be revealed, yet she knows that it kills the person she loves that she holds onto those secrets. However, will power and sense of purpose are more powerful in her than any else, even love. They have agreed to this concept a long time ago, when they first met many days ago. We made promises then, love.
You have to stick to them, we have to.
She didn't wait for a response back from John before she shifted her gaze to the young woman that still sat inside the back seat of the car, "Is that your name," her voice chanted the words, an innate quality of her ability to speak that allows for her words to come out like a song to the ears of the untrained, "Ashley?"

"Is that the girl?" That question by the sheriff broke off the concentration of both John and Ambrosia as their eyes met at the location of the sheriff, watching him turn towards yet another young girl who is apparently came trotting out of the woods, this one apparently dressed up for some kind of play or has some really keen interest in historical fashion. It was the smirk that instantly changed the mood of the situation from that of mess and confusion into something just a bit sinister, even more so when the child started talking, the sound of her voice that made the siren feel as if a shard of ice was penetrating her heart as well as make goosebumps appear on John's arm.

"What is..." the sentence could barely be spoken before the laughter of children broke the silence of the surrounding area, the trees seeming to have come to life and laughing along with whatever is causing it. The wicked feeling became more than just a feeling, it has come to this place.

Sam grinned a bit, glad that things had worked out smoothly. He knew they would, he just knew. But he couldn't help but feel that way since it actually had. To be honest, he was kind of worried the guy wouldn't believe him, question him for his wanting to be friends, but it didn't play out like that at all. They were buds, and he was happy. After a moment, he got a message and told him that they would have to wait, before realizing something. He'd left the very important thing they needed, a.k.a. the pot, in his bag, which was probably in the police station by that point. Sam's eyes grow wide, and he laughs a bit. "That's not good!" He chuckles, then his smile grew even more at the suggestion. To break into the Police Station and get his pot back.

He grabs Micky's shoulder and gives him a thumbs up, his grin was nearly matching the other male's at this point. "I got your back man!" He sticks his tongue out, feeling extremely excited. He sure was glad that they moved here to this place. Things weren't nearly as interesting as they were now back where he was living before, that was for sure! "What did you have in mind on how to do it?"

~~~~~
More cute...girls? Feign blushed again, but the conversation moves on to flowers. Feign nearly laughed at the comment of not growing the poppies for opium, which was definitely not why she grew them. She just loved their vivid coloring. At the suggestion of bringing the flowers over, she nods. "Of course, I can do that!" She giggles softly, noticing the smoke curling from Astrid's mouth. Leaning up a bit, she pokes Astrid's cheek gently, giggling again. "Your smoke is showing..." She blushes, before stepping back, giving a warm smile.
"I will go ahead and get things together. It will take a little bit, so I will meet you at your shop? Does that sound alright?" She hoped it would work for the other female, and once she had the go-ahead she gets to work placing things into a large box that she would need. Soil, fertilizer, tools, etc. Then came the fun part, with picking out the actual flowers, and she stood there, tilting her head for a moment, before reaching out and picking several bright colors that she knew would look wonderful in the contrasting shop.
Once she had everything together, she picks up the box, placing it on a pullable trolly of sorts, and heads out of the shop, glancing up at the sky, then around, before turning and locking the shop, placing a note on the front door saying 'Be back soon. Out on an errand'. She then turns towards where she knew Astrid's smithy was, the sound of the trolley's wheels squeaking gently behind her, humming as she walked along, giving people waves and smiles who saw her, trying to ease the unsettling sensation she felt had begun to slink in like an unwanted mist.
~~~~~~~~~

Yūrei watched as the boy left, leaving the girl behind. For a moment he just stared off after him, before turning his attention to the girl. He didn't say anything at first, instead blinked slowly. What had that been all about? It seemed the two had been in some sort of argument... not that Yūrei really cared or anything like that, it was none of his business what the people of this town did. It had always been like that for him, no matter where he lived.

After a moment though, he gives her a soft smile. "Did he leave because of me? I am sorry..." He looks towards where the boy had gone, but he had disappeared from sight. All this time he could feel chills in the air, and it made his skin tingle with excitement. Something was stirring, deep in the heart of this town. It made the fires of his mind flare up, and a longing to just set everything on fire slowly ran through him. But right now was not the time. It was too soon...too soon since the last time.

"Are you mad?" He asked, tilting his head one way. "Or are you scared?" He tilted his head the other way. He was curious...and wanted to know. He could see the determination in this young girl's eyes. She was not weak, he could see that much. And that intrigued him. Could one so young as she really be that strong?

Micky couldn't help but to let his grin turn more wolffish as he started towards the police station. "Well enter through the back, where they keep some cop cars, from there we don't have to go to far to the lock up. I can pick some of the locks, I've done it a few times, but this will be my first attempt to steal something from them." He looks to his friend, putting his arm around his shoulder. "Listen man, if we get caught. I'm rather ****ing, I'm nineteen bud. That means real jail time, so we got to do this quietly. But don't worry, if things come down to it, I'll take the bullet."

Micky wasn't kidding, he had been in trouble more then enough times to know how things work. Though the old sheriff always would let him go. Most of the deputies never knew why, though the reason? You don't want a werewolf stuck in a jail cell for to long. It's like keep a dog inside for days on end, they will start to break things, fight people, and the worse outcome would they change or bite people. At this point, if he were to get caught he was pretty sure that a judge would throw the book at him, what with the long list of crimes that he was caught doing but nothing happened to him.
He would rather be the one behind bars then Sam though, Sam would probably be fine, all he would have to do is sell him out, not like any of these was his idea anyways. As he was thinking everything over, he would be walking with his arm around Sam, heading towards the police station.

Soon enough, the two of them were standing infront of the station, Micky would look to Sam. "This is the last chance bud, after this you'll be a criminal, lowest of the low." He smirked, punching his shoulder, his way of showing affection. "Now then, you got to be my look out man." Micky would take the two around the back of the building, throwing his hood up to cover up his face a bit. He would quickly move to the side door, pulling out a small case from his back pocket. He would pull out a few lock picking tools. "If you see anyone coming, yell then run like hell man." Micky would look to Sam, before going back to picking the lock.

---------------

Astrids cheeks would turn a dark red as Feign said her smile was showing, she would wave a hand infront of her mouth, making the smoke dissipate as the smalller woman went about getting things ready. "T-that just happens sometimes." She stammers, that didn't help her problem any, she could feel a flame building.

"That sounds fine to me, Take all the time you need to get there." She smiles, starting towards the exit. As she pasted the much smaller woman, she would rise a hand up, softly patting her head. Something she does to a lot of people round town. "See you later." Astrid would then make a quick exit, leaving the green house then the flower shop all together.

The large dragon-kin had a small hope that she could make it back to the shop before having to let the flame out, but she had to cough, which brought flame out. Quickly covering her mouth as she looked around, seeing only a alleyway across the street, she would step out onto the road, someone in a car slamming on the breaks and horn as she does. "Sorry!" She calls out, before dashing into the alleyway. Once she a good ways into the alley, she would take in a deep breath. As she let out the breath, a large flame shot out, burning the break and siding of the building she was looking. Unfortunately for Astrid, it would be very hard to not notice the light coming from the dark alleyway.

Once she had let out the building flame, Astrid would sigh softly. "Come on, you know better then to get your self so worked up." Rubbing the bridge of her nose, she would exit the alleyway, heading towards her shop. Though feeling a bit better at the moment, even though her body was still heating up.

--------------------

Ashley was relaxing in the back of the car, stretching her self out as she waited to get going, maybe it would have just been better to have kept going on her board. Still, she couldn't complain that much, the two were nice enough to give her a ride into two.

As she sat there, she would notice the police car pull up and the sheriff step out, him and the other man had a small back and forth, the sheriff also seem to know who she was, even though she couldn't remember his name for the life of her. Clearly he said her name, as the woman in the front spoke. "Huh? Oh yeah, that's my name babe." She would give the older woman finger guns and wink. Almost instantly she regretted what she did, but it was to late now, the best she could do was try to play it off. "What about you, you got a name? Or should I just call you cute?"

Ash wasn't sure why she was trying to flirt with a older, married woman. Something had just come over her, at this point she was rather sure she would be kicked out of the car. "I mean what?.." Doing her best to play it off, clearly not working.

After a while of walking Skarsnik finds himself walking towards the police station and decides that this seems like a safe place to get some sleep. As he is arranging himself comfortably on the steps out front of the building his inner voice kicks up again. "Skarsnik you said we would kill i need to feel the beating of a heart in my hands do not make the mistake of thinking you can ignore me, i control this body just as much as you do." Skarsnik with an enraged look on his face replies "Silence you don't tell me what to do. Your just a broken piece of my mind and if you think you can threaten me. I dare you to try to take control away from me, Its bin too long since av ad a good fight."

The voice in his head goes silent. However Skarsnik can feel the need to kill just as much as his mind wants him to, the struggle to hold himself together is a constant battle of wills that if he loses it would be very bad for him and those around him. Even tho he is a goblin and is rather small the amount of chaos he could stir would be unending, the power that he has trapped inside him is as deadly to himself as it is to others. Skarsnik's hunger for power doesn't seem as tho it can be sated hes always looking for more its almost as tho he needs it to carry on living.

The truth of it is nothing on earth is supposed to hold that much magical power and through his dark arts he has managed to fracture his mind into pieces that is how he has managed to hold it together for so long. His insanity is what has saved him from being ripped apart by all that magic. The hunger for more power is a side effect that cannot be removed.

As Skarsnik is laid on the steps he takes a look at the town and smiles to himself, wondering how many places in this town have powerful auras like that bar he went in to heal himself. He looks at the sky and mutters something to himself in the language of his kind if anybody had witnessed it they would have been confused by what they saw to humans the goblin language is gibberish, its a language that had died out and only a few of the red humans know it.

As he lay there he starts to wonder if there are any other goblins still alive or if he is truly alone since he has never actually met another goblin, its a depressing thought that you could be the very last of your kind and being surrounded by the humans who slaughtered them but that is another thought for another time he thinks to himself as he wipes the tear from his face.

Just as Skarsnik closes his eyes to go to sleep he remembers something his father used to tell him as a child.

"Skarsnik nothing is ever as it seems until it is."

Even now he still doesn't understand why he said it or why he is just remembering this now either way he closes his eyes an gets some sleep.

It came down like a lightning bolt, without Lerisia having time to blink. Such was the reaction of seeing Dr. Isaac collapse with such speed that Lerisia responded back with a scream. "Doctor!!!" she heard her voice echoes in the office, sending the waves of horror from her mouth beyond the walls as she extended her hand onto Isaac's left shoulder and ran to his side. Isaac's body was reacting with several convulsions and with each convulsion, Lerisia's fear and insecurity grew. This was not good. She had to do something, and must be quick. Dessesperation was dominating her quickly and she felt her heart racing. Lerisia hold Isaac's hand, as in wanting to let him know she was there, yet she could not do anything to help him. 911. That was it! Call an ambulance! or perhaps the Sheriff! anyone would do! Lerisia quickly looked around for the phone and was ready to let go of Isaac when his voice, embodied with suffering, stopped her. "Special case on his office" he said. Lerisia let a soft "What?" as to why reach for it, but it didn't take her too long to think that perhaps it was medicine. She felt the jolt that attacked him once again. Her lips trembling of fear and almost called his name. With that same impulse, she saw Dr. Richards rise with effort, on his feet. Lerisia helped him, fearing that he might fall once again. "Please, stay seated!" she begged him." You can't just move while you're having a hear-" but Dr. Richard's affliction force him to speak once again, slamming his hand on the desk to make it clear to Lerisia what he said.

"Please! Bring it Here!!!"

There was no time. Lerisia slowly backed away from the tormented man, careful not to make him fall, and just ran to the inside of his office. Once there, she looked around rather nervously. "Sh*t, where it could be..." she brushed her hair backwards with her hand, not knowing where to start. She went to the book stand, then to the desk. She quickly went to search every drawer box available. "Please...please..." Lerisia murmured to herself. "please let me find you...". It was when she saw an unusual box, looked more like a case as Dr. Richards described it. "Oh god...." she quickly grabbed the damn thing and ran towards the reception room, not before bumping with some things on her way, hurting herself. That didn't matter to her. As of now, she was more concerned on saving someone's life. Lerisia appeared once again in front of Dr. Richard, who was probably in worse condition than a few moments ago. Lerisia kneel down to his side, grabbing him by the side. " I got it!"

Jon began to slow down the more he was away from his step-sister. He made sure to look back to see that he was as far as he could. He was far enough to not see them, in fact, he was not even paying attention to the road and ended up farther than he wanted. His breathing was rapidly decreasing as he felt more relaxed in his mind. His head fought his heart, which rarely occurs even around his possessive step-sister. He could have seen her fake peppy face that was silently laughing at his face, as if she knew that he was an idiot. Jon slowly raised his hand on to the side of his face. It was trembling. He felt he had to hold it, closing his fingers into a fist, before freeing his emotions to the open air of Everspring. The image was enough to see the darkness that he feels towards the thought of a spoiled princess with her puppet doll adult. Anyone would call him unfair and blind with rage, thought it did not matter. People give their best impressions at public when they release their inner self with those who become close enough. Jon wasn't like that. He loved freedom and he loved to be able to scream the word "Sh*t" whenever he liked it. He likes the smell of fire, the furious winds of storms, and the pain of his fists after beating someone to all hell. He enjoyed it being himself because that's what when he was at his best.

Jon shakes his head to push his thoughts aside and looking up, he kept walking in a more subtle yet firm pace. His eyes moved in every direction, even when he found his vision to be a little hazy at the time and his breath still running hot from his mouth. Looking around, he found the place to be quite isolated. A few homes and less businesses around, more green and street, and by far what it looked like a Well in the far left. Jon stopped for a moment, his eyes focusing in the left. A well? on this town? He lived in the city his entire life so for him is kind of rare to see one, he should not be surprised but somehow, he found it fascinated. Perhaps it was a good place to check out now that he is free to explore the rest of the town. Ever since he arrived to Everspring he dedicated some time walking around the town, trying to memorize every shop, every home, and some other interesting places. Jon looks to his left, then to his right. He turns to see the path from when he came. No one. Good. Turning to the direction of the well, Jon adjusts his backpack and starts walking towards it.

The whimsical sound of his voice penetrated into frustrated little Hannes like a needle. No turning, she hears his apology and took it as an insult. Her eyes close, letting a silent sigh go as her head moved slightly to the side. Incredible, she thought. He has the audacity to apologize yet he finds it funny, or at least that's how the youthful Hannes interpret the apology. Little Hannes knows sarcasm right away; sassy behavior wasn't a stranger to her, mostly because of her friends back in New York City. Though Everspring is vastly different from her old home, it seems people of that kind exists in this forsaken town. Now....little Hannes had one more thing in her mind that was the second thing to bother her: Where the hell does he come from? Hannes turns to face him once more, his appeal intriguing her more and more. Her eyes did shine from the colors of red and white that he wore, such fashion moved her. She had to give him the compliment for choosing a wardrobe that goes with his hair and his eyes....that looked like a girl's! Holy cow. Was cute little Hannes really heard a boy's voice? Hannes frowned her eyes a bit until he spoke saying something that really shook her.

"Are you mad? or are you scare?"

What? WHAT? Hannes's honey eyes grew big at the question. She was mad, indeed, but scared? of him? that's just add more salt to the insult. What a cocky little clown he was! how dare he ask such stupid questions. Hannes looked at him, she felt her hair moving to the side by a sudden breeze and her face sending him the answer. "You are as weird as this town...and a bit of a prick." her lips let out a soft and determined tone. Oh, Hannes knows better! that she must not get carry away by the stranger in front of her. "Have they never told you to said 'excuse me' before coming in between two people?" She at the least knew he came out of nowhere and in between. Could be that the sudden chill came from him? Noooooo, that's stupid! Hannes has felt these before and she is convinced is due to the tension between her and her family.

The little girl just stood there. Her eyes fixated on Matt. She had continued to sing this strange lullaby that tempted the sheriff to put a bullet through her head. Added the children's laughter, which even that began to annoy the hell out of him. All of this combined had finally convinced Matt to just ignore the girl, and the damn singing. He turned around, away from the singing child. He approached John, the little girl still singing in the background. "Alright you check out John. If there is a girl out here in the woods. I can reassure you that we will find her." At this point it had become more and more clear that whatever this thing was. It was going to require more then just a simple sheriff's department.

At that moment something miraculous had occurred. The singing had stopped. He turned around, but to his surprise the girl was still there. Now she just stood there in silence. Even the laughter had seemed to die down a bit. He shrugged it off, and turned back towards John. "There is a decent bar in town ran by Cait and her sons. Very nice lady to get to know. I say go visit there after you drop Ashley off." With those last words to John. Matt turned back around towards his truck, and decided he would do his best to put this all behind him. All the while the little girl's attention seemed not to leave Matt.

The sheriff had reached his vehicle, and as he did. He noticed the girl had become transparent. He sighed, but knew that the little girl was nothing more then a minor tool to something greater. She was never really there, and for all tenses and purposes. Neither was the laughter. He placed his hand on the door handle of his driver's side door, and lifted the handle up. The truck's door opened with a slight squeak. Matt jumped into the seat of the truck, and decided to close the door. He sat there for a moment or two in silence. His face planted in his arms for a moment. He quietly turned his head towards the outside of his window. The little girl had vanished completely. At least that had been handled.

It was then that he decided to take out his cellphone. He looked up his contacts, and stopped once he had reached the one he was looking for. "Director", a simple one word name. One that when uttered by those like Matt. Held a power that only few in life would ever understand. Though for Matt it was just an old contact that he never bothered removing from his contacts. That wasn't Matt's life anymore, but a faded memory. Matt was a sheriff. Just a sheriff, nothing more. He glared at the name for a while. His finger ever hovering over the screen's face. He wanted to press it. To bring an end to this little slice of madness, but this wasn't the right time. Instead he scrolled through the list until he reached another name. "Tom." He smirked and pressed down on the phone's screen. It rang, and after two rings. It picked up.

"Hey man. I need a favor. Yeah one of those favors. How soon can you get up here? Alright thanks. Yeah you might want to bring up at least a dozen. Yeah Ill explain in more detail when you get up here. See you in about a week."

With that, Matt hung up. He made a call that he may regret later, but it was a call none the less.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The mood in the sheriff's department was that of a rather chaotic environment. Phone calls from almost every single local in town had the dispatcher's working double time. Deputies were rushing around trying to make sense of it all. "911 what is your emergency!?" Those exact words had been echoed for the last hour. "Has anyone seen Matt!?' One of the deputies called out as they had strapped on their bulletproof vest. One of the deputies who stood beside him glared. Were things in town really getting that bad? For a Everspring's officer to even contemplate putting on body armor? Things were never this bad before. The other deputies followed suit. No one knew truly understood the current circumstance. Yet after today. You better believe no one in that sheriff's department were taking chances.

"Yo! There is a damn old man asleep on the front steps!" Called out a deputy with their shotgun's shoulder strap swung over their shoulder. Another deputy responded back. "Get him off the damn steps then!" It seemed that a random vagabond sleeping on their steps was not on top of their list of concerns. Yet even with that in mind. The deputy with a loaded 12 gage strung over his shoulder was a bit too iffy on bothering some nobody. The deputy turned, and marched outside the door. He glared at old man for a moment or two, and then cursed the damn foul smelling creature. "Come on damn it, wake up!?" He said as he tried to tap the old man with the front of his boot.

Luckily for him. Matt had pulled up just in time. "What the ****?" Matt said to himself as he stepped out of vehicle. "Whats going on here!?"
Called out Matt towards the deputy. "Well sheriff there was kinda an issue with this old man sleeping on the front steps..." Matt nodded in response to those words. " I can see that. Anyone try to wake up the poor soul?" The deputy shrugged slightly. "Well you see sheriff...I.." Matt raised his hand for the deputy to stop, and then approached the old man slowly. "Grab me some water, and a blanket please." He said as he turned up towards the deputy. The deputy nodded and went back on inside the department. Matt just stood there a few feet from the old man. Something about the frail figure was sending him some bad vibes.

Sam's and Micky's entrance into the police station at this point would be indeed an easy one. Not one single officer was interested in guarding the back door to the station. Not even to bother with keeping an eye on the evidence locker which to be honest. Was a small room with a fragile security system. In fact it seemed that any type of money that the Mayor has shoveled into the town. None had went into the department, yeah no one in the department really liked the man. Besides that with everything as it was. The only thing life threatening at the very moment was the lack of much needed coffee and bake good run.

The next moments for Issac were critical. As he took the case from Lerisa. He placed it on the desk before him. At this point it was all a matter taking out the already prepared serum filled needle. The case, a metallic shade of blue, on the outside appeared to be just that. A simple case, but only on the outside. Once Issac had pressed his hands up against both ends of the case. A bright glow began to overtake the case, and as it did so. Issac spoke in some foreign language, and as he finished it opened. A faint misty vapor began to develop from the now open case. One which Issac had grown a custom to seeing. He reached inside the case, and took out a single tube.

In the tube was a needle. Filled with a serum that was not something you could find in any drug store. Even in pure agony, Issac was able to give himself the needle. He had stuck it into his neck. Which had been the best spot for him to disperse it into his blood system. Once he had taken the serum. Issac already could feel the affects kicking in. He stood there still, hands pressed against the desk. His mind started to become numb, and the glow in his body slowly died out. It would take about an full hour or two for Issac to fully settle down, but it was what needed. Issac, who was now seated in a waiting chair. Had become very much aware that this had all happened in front of his now very confused secretary.

"Lerisa. I am sure you have many questions." Whispered Issac in a faint voice." No damn kidding, who would blame the woman if she thought the worse? Issac was a freak, a unnatural human, and he knew it. It was hard to allow others into his secrets, but for his safety. He needed to take control of the situation before it got worse. "What has just occurred Lerisa, you need to keep it here. In this office please."

Cait didn't have an answer for the two girls. She wished she did, but no. She could only fall back on instincts as a mother, and a protector of her home. She gave the girls a subtle smile, and turned towards her sons. "I think we should bring out some of the good liquor." With those words. Her sons knew what their mother really was trying to do. She had done what she always has done. Make things better so that everyone is in good spirits. She looked out for her family, and her patrons. She protected her pack, and would always make sure no harm was brought to her den.

"Girls" Cait said with a smile still lingering on her face. "I have some more interesting meals and drinks I had ordered for you and the other patrons. If you have the time though. I know both of you are busy with your shops." Making conversation was a skill of hers, small talk, and even convincing others that everything was fine. Her oldest son had already departed from the bar, and out towards his truck outside. What he had went for was some extra protection for the bar. Something he was very certain about. A pump action 10 gage shotgun. One which was special garnished with the depiction of creatures of the night.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The old fair grounds were a grass covered void of what once resembled a more happier place. Now overgrown with plant life, and overshadowed by tall oaks. Wildlife stalked through the under brushes, and deer grazed in the fields. Even the remains of old circus tents and booths had begun to be reclaimed by nature. In some way it was natural, and in perfect harmony with the environment around the old fair grounds. Though that was about to change. A single vehicle had driven up towards the old abandon grounds. One which when recognized was known to belong to the mayor. Except it wasn't the mayor who had stepped out of the backseat of the car.

It was Miss Wilson. Whom had began to observe the entire area. She stood there, her mind picturing the vision that the mayor had shared with her. She could see it, and already feel it. There was something a bit uneasy about it, but she knew the mayor already was set in his ways. All she could do now was take out her phone and make a call. A call which would start a restoration project the likes eversprings has never seen before. One which would not just clear out the fairgrounds, but pressure things that were better off forgotten. Again it was uncertain of the plans which lied ahead for eversprings, but whatever they were. It was something that would bring one hell of a wake up call. A call that would shake eversprings down to it's very core.

Skarsnik's eyes opened slowly and he saw a human hunched over him trying to cover him with some kind of sheet it was that moment that a blood boiling rage over came him and he lunged at the deputy.

The deputy tried to step back and avoid him but Skarsnik is fast even in his human form he grabbed the deputy by the arm and heated his hands up with magic until the deputy started screaming a blood curdling scream, as the smell of burning flesh filled the air Skarsnik let go of him and he passed out with 3rd degree burns on his arms.

Skarsnik then turned his attention to the sheriff and charged at him however the sheriff was faster than Skarsnik he got out of the way and grabbed Skarsnik and put cuffs on him and said. "You need to calm down" he then looked towards his deputies an shouted "one of you call for an ambulance" and he took Skarsnik into a cell and then went to check on his deputy.

Skarsnik sat in his cell still felt the blood rage however he managed to control himself as he looked at his surroundings he realized that he ****ing up and now he needs to figure out how to get out of this cell and then how to get away from this building. He could use his magic to burn his way out however that would draw too much attention or he could dig out but that would just leave them all suspicious of Skarsnik really is. He finally realized that he may have to just sit and wait for the sheriff to come back so he just sat on the bunk in his cell.

As he listened to the chaos in the station he started smiling and started to wonder what was happening with the deputy. Hopefully he will learn along with the rest of the deputy's that Skarsnik isn't to be ****ing with. He decided to start a fire in his cell to warm him up and to try and cause more chaos in the station as he sat the cells started filling with smoke and spreading through the building room to room.

A few deputy's came rushing into the cells with a fire extinguisher to put the fire out just to see that it was from Skarsnik's cell and he was just sat there smiling until he spoke and said "you boys wanna come in here an party with me i want out of this ****ing cell" the deputy's just look at him and walk back into the main building after putting out the fire.

Skarsnik now has his first target for when he starts his rampage.

Doctor Melinda Winters had finished out her contract with the university and her reorientation to the outside world. She now had more than enough money to spend with what she had earned and what she got from her previous job. Her previous job of 5 years….. Could she call it her previous job? They gave her a special title for that job. Special Agent. Her previous job…. She still can’t speak about it no matter how much she wanted to do so. A special device made it so that she couldn’t even if she could. Yet she wondered……Tangorn. Could she still be alive?
Over the last two months Doctor Melinda had driven to various small towns to visit various libraries. Some of the libraries were Scientific Libraries where she could peruse the various articles at her own leisure. She had collected a large amount knowledge of gasses and their effects. Every gas that was known to mankind had been studied in her own time. She had file cabinets put in her RV so she could keep her research with her.
After two months of driving around, Dr Melinda had arrived at the far side of her previous job. Her mind wandered to how everything looked after the last 15 years. It was a closed case so why not? No one would care and the buildings would be basically useless, fallen down and inhabited by the animals that would have taken over the complex.
She pulled into the town and looked about for a parking place. Once she found a place in still unused "Old Gates" Drive In Movie Theater. She set the alarm system in case of pranksters which seemed to be the norm now days. She picked up her briefcase and quickly left the RV. With a click of her keys and a quick beep beep along with the flash of lights, Dr Melinda should have been reassured that her RV was locked. But she wasn’t. Strange things do happen from time to time and she knew that quite well.
Dr Melinda slowly walked along looking at the various stores that were in town. Somehow she could recall each one from the past. She had always had a fantastic memory and was thought to be photographic memory. She just had a good memory recall.
Sam’s diner used to serve good burgers, fried and shakes. She smiled as she recalled the food. Perhaps the food was as good as it used to be she thought to herself as she walked inside. Yes, the counter was still there! She walked to the counter and sat down on a stool to be waited on.

Tanya was glad to see that everyone was not noticing her right now so she crouched down to her knees. She knew that she was safe for the moment. But she needed a new home and food. First one thing or the other.
She crept along the side of the road into town. So many new scents were here including food. She whimpered at the smells. But she must be cunning, crafty even. She would take her time to get to where the food was. Always safety first.

They near the back of the police station, and much to Sam's surprise, they got this close with little problem. It was extremely quiet, and Sam was fearing even breathing too loudly. He was sure there should have been someone, even just ONE person standing guard or keeping an eye out for troublemaking teens, but as far as he could see, it was completely deserted. Which made things that much more easy for himself and Micky. Like instructed, he kept his eyes peeled for anyone, any sign of movement, but there was nothing.

It was like the entire area had been...deserted.

He glances back to Micky, who was working on picking the lock, wondering how much longer it would be until he got it open. He didn't keep his eyes on the other male for too long, instead turned to go back to what he had been doing, reaching up after a moment to run his hands across the top of his head, fingers raking his hair before one hand slowly slides down the front of his face, letting out a low, soft sigh as he did. His heart felt like it was going to jump out of his chest at any second, the excitement and tension were working his nerves double-time, but that didn't stop the grin from playing on his lips. He was glad this was happening, his life needed a bit of adventure. A little bit of rule-breaking. He was tired of being the goody, rule-abiding, top of the class student from Japan. It was about time he became someone he WANTED to be.

And he knew, the longer he stayed around Micky, he would definitely find that person. The person inside that he felt was right. Not the person who society wanted him to be. "Hey...are you almost done yet?" He whispers back to Micky, glancing over at him for a second. "There's like, no one here...It's way too quiet."

^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

Blinking in surprise, Yūrei points at himself, repeating what the girl said. "A...prick?" He tilts his head, an oblivious and confused expression in his eyes, wondering why...she had called him that. Berating him and asking if he had any manners, questioning him why he hadn't said excuse me for walking between herself and the young man from before. He shrugs his shoulders, raising his head up again, before shaking his head. "I don't think...a little girl like you should have such words coming from your mouth. You're way too bossy for your age." He sticks his tongue out at her, giving a teasing wink. "I was going to ask if you needed help...but I don't think I'm going to now. You're the rude one. Not me."

With that, he tilts his hat to her, turning around and slipping back into the alleyway, turning this way and that, until he felt...something. Something wrong. In his gut, in his heart. He stops cold, raising his head up to look at the sky, tilting his head back and holding to the rim of his hat, eyes narrowed and a frown on his lips. It felt as if his very soul had been stepped on, or someone was speaking terrible, horrible things about him...but the feeling he got was much deeper than that. And it wasn't nice. His eyes get a deadly glow to them, fire burning deep inside, as he turns his face away from the sky, staring ahead...before closing his eyes, taking a breath. And vanishing.

He had to know. The feeling he got. Why...

The moment he opened his eyes again, he was at the edge of the fairgrounds. Standing by one particular large oak, his hand touching the rough bark, he stares out at the flat area. Standing out there, was a vehicle, slight dust coating the sides, and a woman standing a bit away, talking on a cell phone. He could tell she was viewing the area, almost as if calculating something... What the heck was she doing here? No one has come out here for ages, not since that big fire so many years ago, killing those people in the big top tent... He didn't like her here. He didn't WANT her here.

"Doko ka ni itte..."

He mutters under his breath, his hatred fueled by an inner thirst to see her burn. To do anything to get that woman away.

"Koko kara deteike...!"

The wind picks up slightly, and the air was filled with an uneasy sensation, as Yūrei continued to watch the woman as she spoke on the phone. She was invading his home, his sanctuary. And she was not welcome here.

"Anata o koroshimasu!"

(Translation: Doko ka ni itte - Go away.
Koko kara deteike... - Get out of here.
Anata o koroshimasu! - I will kill you! )

Micky could only smirk as he hears the click of the lock opening. Reaching up he would push the door open, before turning to Sam. He wore a smug look on his face, he loves to show off to others. "Well come on, let's go find my stuff."

Slowly creeping into the garage, he would notice no one was around, standing up fully he shrugged softly. "Well ****, no one is around.." He turns to Sam, before taking a deep sniff of the air. "Come on, my bag is this way." He would slide across the trunk of the old cop car that sat back there. As he lands, Micky would be standing infront of some stairs, smirking as he walks up the steps that lead to the main office.
Stopping at the door, he would open it, poking his head out and looking around.

"What the hell man, it's like a ghost town in here.." He starts to whistle as he walks into main office area, Micky had never seen the police station so empty. Which let him waltz right up to the evidence room door, he would try the handle. Not to his surprise the door was locked, which met he had to pick the lock on this door as well. Only taking a minute to get this unlocked, he would push it open, only to come across a third door, made of metal fencing to make it harder to get in.
Rolling his eyes, Micky walked towards the door. Stopping few feet from it, he would bring his foot up; slamming it against the door, which slammed open. "Lock picked."

He would grabbed his backpack, which sat ontop of a box. Making his exit, grabbing Sam by the back of his shirt. "Come on, don't really want to wait and see if anyone shows up." Micky would pull Sam along behind, quickly rushing out the same way the two of them came in, laughing as he did.

"Chilling," John spoke quietly though it was addressed to no one in particular as the young child continued to sing with the chorus of the laughing children accompanying her. He could not figure out where exactly this new arrival had appeared from but by the demeanor of the sheriff he could see that she is getting on his nerves and John would prefer to avoid any more situations with crazy people and firearms so he decides to take up the offer made by Matt and let him take care of the searching for the other young woman that has yet to come out from the tall grass, perhaps she has actually taken off, the half-druid thinks to himself before looking over at Ambrosia who seems to have her attention to Ashley, yet another young girl, who is currently sitting in the back seat of the car and has been waiting patiently for that ride to town. Another few moments of deliberation before he nods his head and speaks once again to the sheriff, deciding it would be best to just let Matt handle things as he obviously has more of a connection with these people than John does, "That sounds good then," he fills his voice with confidence while giving Matt a warm smile despite the current situation, "I do not know who this Cait is but I am sure...Ashley, I think you called her that," he gestures towards the youngster in the back of his car, "will be able to point me in the right direction. A good meal would work wonders right now though we were told that it was imperative to meet with the mayor before we head back to the estate. I'm sure I will see you around. Good day, Sheriff, and good luck with...this." With one more survey of the area, John turns his back towards Matt and makes his way back towards the car and put this strange event behind him, eyeing the little girl who continues to sing.

Ambrosia gives the young woman in the back of the car a wide smile, an image of absolute beauty with her perfectly aligned, cotton white teeth; full and luscious lips which have caused countless lives to be lost in order for a chance to feel them just once. With a wink of her own and the voice that calls to the hearts of men, she speaks yet again, "My name is Ambrosia but many people just call me Amber for short. It is a pleasure to meet you, Ashley, though I am sure the pleasure is all yours." Her voice is a carefully blended mix of gentle kindness and seductive sultriness which is meant to keep the young woman's attention while providing a soothing sensation so she can understand that she is safe with them. "Looks like we will be heading off now, we both appreciate your patience as I know you have been anxious to get going." Her smile gains a new kind of energy as she peers towards John walking to the car, her eyes growing wide with the anticipation of being near him once more, "I've yet to come across anyone else like him," she confides in Ashley with a voice low enough to allow only the two of them to hear, the amount of affection in her words evidence of her love for the man, "you'll see it for yourself, everyone does eventually." She opens up the car door and lets herself into the passenger seat as John enters the driver seat.

"Well, sorry for the delay," Johns speaks to both of them as he adjusts the rearview mirror to get a view of Ashley. He just stares into the reflection of the young woman's eyes for a few minutes in total silence, hand on the key as he puts it into the ignition but holds on turning or for several moments before letting out a puff of air and turning towards her, "Well the sheriff wants me to bring you to town, as was the plan, but he mentioned a bar. I'm not one to usually bring minors into an establishment such as that but from the way things have been going on here I imagine we could all use something to eat. Would you care to join us for a meal, my treat? Though you're gonna have to show us a good place to stop at since we have no idea what is around here." He shifts back to looking out the windshield before turning over the key and listening to the engine kick to life as he closes his door and shifts to drive, slowly pulling away from the scene and the sheriff who quickly disappears from view as the vehicle comes around a bend and towards the town of Eversprings. The rest of the ride to town was fairly quick compared to how long it took to make it to that crazy scene which was more than welcome for John as he chatted back and forth with Ambrosia and Ashley, making small talk in an attempt to get acquainted with each other. "That sheriff," his voice heavy with suspicion, "he seems to be a little bit on edge there..and he knew who you are, though you didn't seem too familiar with him. You two don't run into each other much?

Yuki and Kori exchanged glances when the woman chose to give them a subtle smile before instructing her sons to bring out the good liquor. She had avoided the question. Perhaps because she had no real answer. Kori couldn't help but wonder, though. Did the woman think the threat was great enough that she avoided the conversation altogether, or did she simply not think it great enough to warrant a conversation? Or perhaps it was neither. Perhaps she simply didn't know enough about it and she didn't care to speculate, so rather than waste time doing so, she was trying to raise everyone's spirits instead?

Kori didn't have an answer, but she thought that, perhaps, it was the latter. Or perhaps a combination. Either way, it was pointless to speculate. She couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had grown inside of her, nor did she wish to, but she knew that focusing on it and needlessly speculating would get them nowhere. Meanwhile, Yuki smiled and nodded to the woman as she invited them to stay for some interesting meals and drinks, if they had time. "Of course. We did come here to eat, after all!" Yuki declared happily, her cheery tone in direct contrast to the air around them, and in contrast to Kori's somewhat intense aura.

Yuki gave Kori a light nudge, breaking her sister from her thoughts. "Hmm? Oh, yeah, sure. The shops can wait a bit longer," she smiled just enough to be friendly. "At any rate, I think I could use a drink. And more food," she responded with what was meant to be a sort-of joke to lighten the mood, before she popped another piece of her now lukewarm food into her mouth before downing her cup of saké and going back for more.

"So, what kind of foods and drinks are we talking?" Yuki asked with a somewhat intrigued grin. She was rather hungry, after all. More than she wanted to admit, which could very quickly turn into a very bad thing. Of course, the sustenance she truly desired was something she couldn't have, so she needed to take the edge off with what she could, before things got out of hand. Unlike Kori, who could control her hunger and control herself whens he fed, taking only what was strictly necessary, Yuki would lose herself if the hunger got too great. She wouldn't stop until her hunger was sated, or Kori managed to stop her and bring her back to her senses. No one wanted that. Her least of all. So it was best she ate her fill of human food for now. On that note, she took another wing and popped it in her mouth while she waited to see what kind of food would be served next.

Once Dr. Isaac took the box, Lerisia was left with her hand still shaking and pale as snow. Her eyes were witnesses for the following moments in which it further reminded her that she did not know him entirely. She did not move a hand to help, rather she let him do it himself, barely moved her body to see what he tried to do with that metallic box. Lerisia felt a coldness in her arms as she watched, letting out a small sigh until a bright light coming from the box, widen her eyes. She heard Isaac speak, but she could not understand what he said. This was followed by Dr. Isaac taking out what it appeared to be a tube, and inside a needle. “The Medicine…” Lerisia whispered to herself, her hands and fingers getting colder and unable to move. Tension built onto her shoulders. It took the rapid shot of the needle into Isaac’s neck to make Lerisia flinch. Just after that, everything became quiet. Doctor Isaac was standing still, and so did Lerisia, her eyes reflected his glow as it vanished from his body. She blinked in awe.

Lerisia helped the mysterious doctor to sit in one of the chairs and remained at his side. He looked better than a few moments ago, which must mean the medicine is working. Lerisia tried passing her hand onto his back, but her hands was shaking so much, she did not felt his back. That’s when Isaac replied to her to keep what she just saw in secret, which somehow, Lerisia knew he’ll said. Pursing her lips, Lerisia lowered her head and took a deep sight. There was so much she wanted to said. There was many words she wanted to express. What was that? What happened? Why did this happened? Just who are you?

But instead, she nodded in silence. The shade of sunlight that came out of the window was weak, as if the room was embodied in a sorrowful black that could not allow light to reach both Lerisia and Isaac. The sound of the reddish clock was no longer heard on her ears. Everything felt strange. It was back to square one, she thought. She has seen more than enough to give reason to what her grandparents were saying, about a place that she does not know.

Extending his arms to push some tree branches out of the way, Jon enters to what it appeared to be a open space with the well at the center. It was not big, but it was not small neither. It did not have flowers, yet it have stems around. It looked enchanted in the sense of green, an ambiance Jon finds fascinating. He steps further and approaches the well that caught his attention. It looked old and rough, it’s wooden rod was raw and unrefined but the rope was perfectly fine. Jon assume the bucket was inside so he leaned over to see it. There was not water, but the bucket was down. Was someone here before? Jon was not stranger to a well even if he lived in a city of 90% concrete, rather he went places that handled a special experience which was not the real deal but was far more approachable than anything else. Jon chuckled to himself as he backed up from the well. He looked around once more and walked in circles for some time until he stopped. Jon took a deep breath and closed his eyes, his head upward. “This is it. This is the place” he whispered himself in comfort. He took his backpack and throw it to his right side, without a care in the world. Swinging his arms forward and backwards for a few seconds, Jon used momentum to sit down and let himself rest onto the grass and dirt; crossed his legs and moving his feet to the rhythm as he hums a song. He looked at the sky with eyes tempted to emerge itself into the clouds. This might not be as pleasant as he expected, but it helps to cope for the time being, which Jon finds surprising. No one sees to be close to this location, it’s isolation was apparent. Yes, perhaps this was the place he was looking for.

Hannes flinched at the word “rude”. Coming from a stranger, which she thought was such a child for sticking his tongue out, did leave her with a bad taste in her mouth, maybe more than her brother’s comments about her. As she saw the red jester walk away from her, she let a exhausting sigh out. Her patience was reaching a limit and she wondered why at first. Was this because she didn’t get what she wanted? Of course it was. Rats! Curses! Damn joker! The adorable girl repeatedly said in her head, her eyes gleaming in anger. Her clutching her soft hands was her most physical reflection to her reaction. Although impatient like a true kid, Hannes knows composure was key to a more lady-like behavior, another moral that she learned from her mother. She turned away, rolling her eyes and walk away to the opposite direction. She hold on to her backpack with one hand and brushes her golden hair back on both sides, refreshing her round face from the few moments of epic fail. Naaaaaah, that wasn’t an epic fail, Hannes thought. Someone just came out of nowhere and broke her conversation with her brother so it’s not a failure, right? Even so, Young Hannes was, and still is determined. She will get her brother to go to that place one way or another. If she doesn’t, she can’t go either so it all depends on him.

It was already night with a few clouds and a gibbous moon in the Salem family’s residence, a bungalow house known for it's saint statues in the entrance and a modest garden, though the flowers on the garden cannot be seen in their true beauty at night. In the kitchen, close to the dining table, was a tired but dutiful Lerisia finishing serving the grilled chicken with vegetables for what was about to be the last meal of the day for her and her children. Her hair was tie up, with a long, sleeveless gray shirt and jeans that reached her knees. The day for her was...peculiar. It was not going to be easy for her to forget what happened at her work place, even by petition of Doctor Isaac, who keeps testing Lerisia’s judgement of any individual that is close to her. As she thought of the moments she lived that afternoon, Lerisia picked the ceramic plates, colored with red and white lines and set them on the table near the counters. One plate was placed in front of one watchful Hannes, who has been kicking her legs, watching mommy and waiting for her food. Dear Hannes did have a peculiar day too, except this involved being ignored. She looked at the plates her mother placed on her front, each in one seat. The ceramic colors bothered her, making her grumble in disgust. She grabbed the already placed fork from the table and starting tapping the plate with it, her hand holding her head and elbow on the table. As she did, she started thinking on what to do in this town: There was not much to look other than any historical place that would make her head scream in boredom. It was kind of gloomy and , as she would said, too old. Not to mention, the last few months have been too weird to not notice. The many reports of sighting of “animals” and people vanishing. It creep the heck out of her skin. She could not help but tap the plate even louder at the thought of it.

“Hannes, sweetie, stop that.” Lerisia answered in response as she brought the chicken to the table. “That’s very aggravating”

“Aggravating?” Hannes eyes sparkled in confusion.

“Annoying.”

“Ah. Maybe you can use that word next time…”

“You should learn it instead…” Lerisia returned to the stove to pick the steamed vegetables in a red casserole. “It will help you in future conversations.”

“What’s the used of having many words that have the same meaning?” Hannes shakes her head. Maybe it was a stupid question, but also worth the risk for her.

“Well…” Lerisia placed the casserole on the green mat in the middle of the table. “Many are sophisticated and have a more detailed meaning to it-”

“you did it again….sofistake, what was it?”

“Sophisticated.” Lerisia replied with a cold tone. “It means more civilized”

“Oh...do I have to learn that one too?” Hannes stopped her kicking.

“Yes, you do.” Lerisia chuckled. Once finished organizing the table, Lerisia went to the refrigerator to pick up a pitcher full of lemon juice and came back to start serving her beloved daughter. As she poured the liquid on the glass, she could see the light reflect onto the pitcher, it’s color glossy and softness recalling the moment she saw the light from the metallic box. Lerisia frowned. Hannes raised an eyebrow at her mother.

“Soooooooooooo…” Hannes tried to break the silence.

“Yes?”

“Where’s jon?” Hannes wondered. Lerisia let out a sigh and closed her eyes. “Your brother must be in his room. I’ll call him down.”

“Pft, good luck with that.”

“Excuse me?”

“I am just saying, he is hard to deal with, like, uh, super salty at everything.” Little Hannes is not wrong. Jon is not comfortable to be around with either Lerisia or Hannes and they both didn’t understand why. This was Lerisia’s sorrow. Thus far, she has not been successful in rebuilding a circle of trust with her family and due to that, it was getting harder to find any feeling of love. Lerisia knew that Hannes and Jon did not get along, even beyond simple half-siblings fights, though she cannot rule out the rivalry as simple sibling fights.

“Jon has to learn to get along with us better…” Lerisia acknowledges as she took finished setting the table. “but we also need to have patience. He’s difficult, I know, is frustrating. We just arrived here and I’ll like to give him time to get used to this town.”

Hannes rolled her eyes to the side in response to the comment. “ Right. Give him time to be an ****”

“Hannes!”

“It’s true!” Hannes demurred with a strong voice. “you gonna defend him?”

“I don’t want to hear that word coming from your mouth again, is that clear?” Lerisia warned as she pointed her finger to Hannes, making it clear that she was serious.

“Hm” she grumbled

“Did you hear me-” a stronger and threatening tone was heard

“Yes.” Hannes looked at her mother, her eyebrows had pressed down her eyes full of bloom. They both stare at each other for a few seconds until Lerisia, with a face of concern, turned to walk to the sink and wash her hands. Hannes looked down, pressing her finger onto the fork. This is what she didn’t like about her. She was so damn naive, it’s so annoying. Annoyance is common enemy of Hannes and she would wanted to leave the kitchen. However, she didn’t and it was because she didn’t want to make things worse. Not tonight, at least. “ I’m sorry, mommy.” she murmured, still looking down. Lerisia sighed and approached her daughter, pulled her head, and leaned to place a tender kiss on her forehead. “I just want you to grow up being a wonderful lady. Bad words sounds ugly coming from a cute girl like you.”

“I know…” Hannes claimed.

“Really?” a grumpy voice was heard from the hallway. Lerisia lifted her head and saw Jon coming in, his hair messy and his clothes disheveled. Apparently, he was in bed, or so did Lerisia believed.

“Dinner’s ready, sweetie”

“I want to eat on my room.”

“Why not here?”

“I just don’t feel to” Jon lowered his arm, blinking with little weariness.

“Can you try eating here for tonight?”

“I don’t know.”

“He doesn’t want to stare at our faces.” Interrupted a bragging Hannes. Jon and Lerisia turned to her. “Are you gonna start?” Jon argued. Hannes turned to face him. “I am not the one wanting to eat away from family.”

“I would do it if I didn’t have to argue or be called out as frequently as I had.” Jon responded. He felt that he was a target of everyday discussion, somehow he felt his name came in any conversation and it was depressing. On top of that, Hannes likes to make things worse or so Jon believed. No, he was sure she did it on purpose.

“Both of you, stop.” Lerisia cut the argument. “Jon, dear, If you're not feeling well, that is fine. But, can you make an exception tonight? Just let us eat together for a few minutes and you can head upstairs, how about it?”. Jon looked at his mother with doubt and a poker face. Clearly, he knew she was trying to convince him to stay, on the sweetest way, by asking with kindness. Such devotion and love was poignant and fake. Would he heard her plead and play along?

“Yeah, brother. Come sit with us….” Hannes teased. “ a few minutes only”

“Hannes, Let him be.”

“I am being nice to him.” the young child innocently responded. Jon crossed his arms and told what he thought was his thoughts. “Since when have you been nice? You are only nice enough to cause troubles…”

“I am not! I don’t try to ignore and hate on my mama unlike you.”

“Ooooh, Should I be concerned if I don’t kiss her ass?”

“Only if you eating dirt instead!”

“Can you **** off already?!”

“ENOUGH!” The voice resonated throughout the house like powerful waves, roaring echoes of a thousand emotions. Lerisia had heard enough to stop the conversation. Here we go again, she thought. It was the same thing, every night. She failed once again. Jon and Hannes looked up to her. She really looked distressful, but for Jon, she just looked about to snap of him and he, as always, didn’t give a ****. “Can we please stop this?” the mother pleaded. “All I ask from the two of you, my children, to eat dinner together. This exchange of words is not necessary.”

“You’re right. Is not necessary” Jon nodded. His eyes explored the dinner table and saw the chicken and the vegetables set up already. Then it meet Hannes eyes. It quickly turned to Lerisia’s. “ I think I lost my appetite. I am going to bed. You can leave something for me, maybe I can eat it later if I get hungry again.” and just like that, Jon turned to walk away from a mother in complete shambles. “Jon,Wait-, at least have something to drink-Honey, come back here!” she followed him. As she left the kitchen, A unimpressed Hannes returned to her meal and started to chew on the chicken that was already served for her. Closing her eyes, she grew a small grin while shaking her head lightly.

Later that night, where the rooms were filled with silence, Jon found himself seated on the window in his room, his leg against the casing and his arm on the knee. He kept looking down, barely watching the wind blow the leaves off the trees. Another bitter night for him because he got angry once again. It’s like a disease already, one that he refused to get rid off. He lowered his head until he heard a soft knock. “Jon...is me. Can I come in?” the voice of her mother was heard. He expected this and he hate it. Jon looked to the door and did not respond back. There was a pregnant pause. “Jon, I just need a few words, I won’t take long.” she replied. Jon frowned and still did not responded. Another minute of silence passed until she knocked once again. “Jon, I-” it didn’t take long until he got up and went to open the door. There she was, still her hair tied up and with that face that he can’t stand. His face did not looked angry, yet it was visibly bothered. “Sorry if I bothered you. I put the rest of the dinner on the refrigerator in case you get hungry again.” Lerisia notified him. “Just try to eat something, even if is just the chicken. I don’t like the idea of you going to bed without eating”. Jon nodded, looking away. He actually was hungry back then, and still is. His sole act back there was to find a way to avoid seating with his mother and sister, which Hannes apparently encouraged. “Ok…” Jon said as he was trying to close the door, until Lerisia stopped him. “Jon..wait.” “hm?” he looked up again. “What do you want?”

“Don’t speak to me like that…”

“I just asked a question. What is it?”

“Don’t twist the words, please.” Her tone changed. “I….I recognize that I made mistakes before. I do. I just, I know that it’s been bad for you. It's been hard for us to start in some town far away from the city and from Grandpa and Grandma.” Lerisia pursed her lips, trying to explain her feelings. “I know that you don’t like me because of what happened with your father and Ludwing. I failed you. I did. Many times, Yes. but, I want you to know that I am trying my best to make it up to you. You don’t have to like me now, or tell me why...just tell me you’ll be alright, just want you to be by my side for the time being. That’s all I ask.”

Jon blinked and just stood there, looking at her. He chuckled. “So, basically you want me to be living with you without knowing why am I like this? Is that what you wanted me to know?” He clarified as Lerisia was feeling scared of what was coming. It was not going to be nice. “I thought you would ask me if I loved you or some **** like that, but I guess that’s another way to put it.” he chuckled once again. “ I, ah, still can’t get my head around of how blind you are...how easy you make words sound. Have you heard yourself before?" Jon was not backing up his feelings this time. He wanted to said something else but instead, he poured more salt to his words. "Oh, and Don’t worry, I won’t be going anywhere any time soon, even if I feel like I should. I just want to let you know that too.” with that said, Jon steps back and closes the door.

The dark skies of the night had cleared the path way for the moon to shine down. In a few feets away from the Salem residence, just pass a few trees and bushes, there was a small pond. The waters in this pond were clear as if it was glass; The earth that surrounded it fertile. In that particular place, the sound of the wind was easily felt and heard, kisses the trees with gentle careness. In this night of summer, the sound of a first note of violin played. It sang of of love and serenaded it with a story about love and water, expanded throughout the town like rain. The very source of this melody was a man seated on a rock, just to the side of the pond. He had long, black hair that extended to his shoulders, eyes yellow and mellow and was dressed in white long shirt and pants. His eyes closed, and as he focused playing the music, the water in the pond grew three ripples. Three ripples for three individuals.

One ripple was for Lerisia. Inside her room she lie on her bed, exhausted for the events of the day. Despite her room being sort of disorganized, she has gave up to do any sort of cleaning after her brief talk with her son. She only wished, at that moment, to find peace and tranquility within herself, to love herself. Then she heard the song. She looked to her side, where the window was and then to the left. She wanted to get up but her body felt numb and heavy. Where is that music coming from? she asked herself but after thinking it twice, it did not matter; it was a beautiful melody, so relaxing and charming. A small smile grew from her mouth. Humming and rubbing herself against the bed, Lerisia turned her body over adjusting her pillow and her arms. Once done, she made herself comfortable until falling asleep.

The other ripple was for Jon, who was still seated on the window contemplating the scenery and lost in his thoughts. When he heard the music, he slowly sit up and started looking around. Damn, what a good melody he thought, but where could it come from? His initial belief was perhaps a nearby neighbor, or maybe one of those mysteries that keep happening in Everspring? He kept looking around some more until all of the sudden, tiredness overcome him. He might not be energetic but he did not get sleepy so easily. As he yawned, he rubbed his face, jumped on his bed, and lay there until he closed his eyes.

The final ripple was for Hannes, who was in the tub, taking a nice bath before her beauty sleep. The melody did reach her ears as well, opening her eyes and moving then sideways. Slowly, she raised her head to look towards the door. Was anyone in the house listening to classical music? Her best guess is Jon. She always knew he had an appreciation for all kinds of music, and to be fair, she have respected that even though it wasn’t her cup of tea. But wait! This melody is pretty, so good it makes her bath much more relaxing. She slowly submerged down the water, trying to hold her breath. For Hannes, this was enjoyable and she used to do this when she often visited the swimming pool. Unfortunately, is not the same with a tub and it was irritating. Hannes ascended from the waters and took a deep breath, feeling such force and delight. For some reason, Hannes felt drowsy despite being completely wet. She laid her head back onto the white towel she placed on the end of the tub and closed her eyes until late.

The music continued until much later. At 3 AM, the music has stopped. The black-haired man has lowered his violin bow, placing it on the surface of the rock, to his side. His other hand lowered with care as it held the violin along with his shoulder. The man focused his eyes on the dark pond. The ripples were long gone, yet he looked at the waters with such fascination, such obsession. It was almost time. Another story in the history of Everspring was about to begin. What would it be this time? A tragedy? A comedy? Will it have a happy ending or will it fall in despair? The man placed two of his fingers onto his lips, feeling the warm of his own skin. He moved them towards the pond, as it sending a kiss. He smiled once again as he said this.

“Let us begin.”

They slip inside the Police Station no problem, Micky finally having picked the lock, both males slipping inside quietly. Sam's heart was beating faster every second that passed by, but the whole while he had an excited grin on his lips, following after Micky. They turn a corner, and it was made completely clear that there was absolutely no one around, so instead of walking slow with a crouch, Sam stood straight, strolling down the hallways after the other, letting his eyes trail around.

It didn't take long before they reached the spot that they were looking for, Sam laughing a bit as Micky 'picked the lock' by breaking it, grabbing what his backpack, and then the back of his shirt, so they retraced the way they had gone. He laughs along with the other, being pulled along as they made their exit, busting out the back door and running away from the building as quickly as they could. The wind brushing past his face was a relief, as Sam didn't realize how much he'd been sweating inside from the intensity of how high strung he'd been, on edge.

Once they get to a safe enough spot, they slow down, Sam panting as he grinned at Micky. "MAN! That was crazy!" He laughs, breathing deeply, panting as they slowed to a quick walk. He runs his hand through his hair, holding it at the back of his head. Sam knew that if they had gotten caught, his brother probably would have killed Micky...and then him as well. He'd never gotten in trouble with the law before, so this was a big push for him.

"So, what're we gonna do now? We still meeting up with Ashley?"

He hoped the answer was yes, because out of all the things he liked the most about this small town was hanging out with Micky when he had the chance to. Otherwise, he was left by himself or hanging out at home with his brothers and that...was not fun at all. Klaus was okay to a point, but not extremely entertaining, always nagging at him about something or other, and Lucas was always locked away in his room, with his nose in a book or studying...or whatever it was that he did in there. He'd asked about it once, but it only resulted in the door being slammed in his face.

As they walked, he glanced over at Micky, before looking the other way, noticing a pretty woman walking past, pulling a wagon full of flowers and gardening supplies. She had a strange vibe to her, almost like the way that he'd felt about Micky when they had first gotten to know each other. He taps Micky's arm, and when he got the other's attention he pointed the woman out. "Hey, do you know who she is?" He looks to Micky again. "I know she owns the flower shop, but that's about all I know about her."

Feign didn't notice the two boys as they walked past on the opposite side of the street, pulling the wagon full of flowers and equipment behind her, heading towards Astrid's smithy. She'd gotten distracted far too long, at it was much later than she had planned on getting there. But once she got to the shop she gave a quick greeting to Astrid before beginning work right away, keeping the flowers simple and yet elegant, inside and outside the shop.

"Oh...and Astrid?" She looks up at the other. "You don't have to pay me. This is a gift." She gives a smile, patting the dirt that she'd placed around one of the plants by the front door, standing up after and brushing her hands on the apron she wore. Even if Astrid tried to insist, she just shook her head, waving her hand in a dismissing manner, still smiling that smile of hers, eyes twinkling and sincere in her words. "I really do not mind. I'm sad I never visited earlier than this. So please, accept my gift."

Later on, in the evening:

After Lucas had gone to bed, Klaus decided to go for a walk to clear his head. Pulling on a light jacket, and his guitar over his shoulder, he slips out of the house, locking the door behind him. Usually he didn't like leaving Lucas alone by himself at night, as the boy often had extremely bad night terrors, but recently he'd been getting better so decided that maybe it would be okay...just this once. He was also a bit frustrated that Samuel had not come home yet. No message, no calls...nothing.

Sighing, he walks down the side path of the house, heading off in the opposite direction of downtown, glancing up and staring at the stars as they twinkled in the sky above. His hands were in his pockets, and he had a tired expression on his face, as he sighs deeply again, the oxygen in his lungs leaving slowly. It was a bit exhausting having to take care of two younger brothers. He was proud that he had the duty, and he wouldn't trade it for the world but...there were times when he wished it wasn't so stressful. Especially with Sam, who was a bit rambunctious at times, and now, it seemed, was starting a rebellious phase.

His feet wander forward, and before he knew it he'd come across a small park like spot, an old playground with swings and a slide and a couple seesaws. Trees and a bed of flowers decorated the spot, and there was a water fountain and an small bathroom. A smile forms on his lips as he goes over the to the picnic table that was set beneath the tree, stepping up onto the bench and then sitting on the surface, pulling his guitar into his lap.

Running his fingers over the guitar strings, he plays a few chords before he begins playing, at first only the guitar was heard streaming through the night, and then after he'd finished the first song, he actually began to sing softly. Quietly, before letting his voice rise, carrying deep emotion as he sang, a soft, melencholic expression on his face, eyes closed slightly, a smile on his lips.
