The air was crisp, already fading from the scorching summer to a relatively calmer season. This was around the time when a certain city in the world conducted an event similar to the Olympics which has steadily been growing in publicity year by year. Isana trudged along the pavement, carrying a carton of paper plates and other utensils while about a dozen or so cartons floated around her, each covered with a light blue glow which indicated her control. Her high ESP ranking often caused her to be exploited for the mass logistics required for events such as these. She could not say no, it was common courtesy to help when someone who asked nicely enough. But it certainly did prolong the amount of time it would take for her to reach her chocolate-coated chips, still stored in her fridge.
All she wanted and planned to do for today was to slack off and laze around while snacking on chips. This, she set down the boxes in a stack by a stand, was definitely not what she was looking for. She soon received more instructions via her phone's messaging system when the tracking bracelet she wore identified that she had finished. "Return for the second batch of boxes." She sighed as she shambled past a group of students who were too carrying more supplies.
