Well, I'm always up for a good horror story or haunted house, and some fantasy never hurts. I'll admit I do have a soft spot for post apocalyptic stuff as well ;)

Here are some of my ideas if you're interested:

Ooo apocalypic paralell reality sounds nice. It's different for everyone of course, but whenever I do parallel reality I usually like to keep some non-fictional aspects in it. An example I did in the past: something similar to like where magic and mythical creatures actually exist and stuff. Not sure how that will fit in to the apocalyptic part though but I'm up for whatever you throw at me lol

What we could do is have it where Magic really exists, or space travel has been reached to where we can traverse worm holes and or teleportation from building to building with technology…

Oh it's perfectly fine I'm actually not much of a plotter usually... it's something I'm trying to get use to here.

Space travel and traversing worm holes.. kind of like Xenosaga!? *o* Ahem, sorry I had a fan moment Anyway, I do kind of like the idea of space travel either way. Maybe we can have some kind of war going on or something, too, that lead to the destruction of certain galaxies and whatnot so humanity is barely hanging on to a thread and desperately needs a true place to call home. But they're not alone as other humans and other animalc/creatures from other galaxies are not as welcome to the people of Earth as some are.

Something like that, maybe?

That would be interesting, sounds like that would be fun to do. I unfortunately haven’t seen Xenosaga…it is however on my list of things to watch.

The worm holes idea I got from a show called Farscape…don’t really remember it though only that worm holes were involved and bad things happened to good people. :/

It was quite in that part of space, not a lot of action happened in that quadrant in quite a while. She sat next to the large oval window staring out at the vast black sea of stars….

Or something along those lines, start out quite and then BOOM something happens.

She was a model student in school, never getting into much trouble, but she never did anything spectacular. For a few years she trained in self defense and soon became interested in the police force, which turned her down (will be explained in the roleplay) so she decided to become a self defense instructor. She never once even dreamed she would be defending her planet...
Equipment: A prototype Glock gun given to her by her grandfather said to be some kind of 'new age weapon' that was thrown out because of it's somewhat clunky design (will this work?)
Other: Strong woman with a 'take no ****' attitude, very caring but shows a lot of tough love.

Works a little something like this around here: just simply start another thread in this section and title it Hyper Nova, then just write whatever starter you want and post. :3 Oh and then link me to it once you've got it up.
