Whatever you think is best! I can work my first post around whatever happens, I need to get some other work done but then I'm gonna try to get a character sheet up.

the.. blank? :D ... comatose ? memory failure? ..

Kinetic, dont worry about your first post, we can do it so it wont disturb the flow of the story :)
I think it will work fine, if you wake up a little later than the others.
Im curious about your character! ;D

I thought that since Cotton was looking for a male character and I'm more comfortable with female character I'd compromise with a non-binary character. I have a couple ideas but right now all I'm thinking about is this article about Chicago sewage treatment plants I'm writing an essay about :P

Accepted! I think if you wish, you can put yourself in the cycle now, or wait for Ari's post. @Kinetic

I'm curious as to what Ari wants to do but depending on how long the other posts take it might land me posting at a very busy time in my schedule (finals week :0), do you think I should just post now or wait?

For serious. This is a really dank crew of people.

If it's more convenient for you to go now, feel free, though PM @Ari first and see if the sequence of events can work out?

It might be just a language/understanding problem, but what is a "non-binary" gender, @Kinetic

Post subject:  Re: Escapism - A Sci-Fi Mystery (OOC)

@Ari it's someone who isn't exclusively masculine or feminine. :)

Post subject:  Re: Escapism - A Sci-Fi Mystery (OOC)

Basically yup! Just someone who doesn't feel exclusively like a girl or boy, they rather feel more neutral towards the idea of gender.

Post subject:  Re: Escapism - A Sci-Fi Mystery (OOC)

I see... something like a feminine boy or a more masculine girl?

Maybe in some cases but more or less someone who's nonbinary doesn't feel like binary genders (boy and girl) apply to them. That can presented in a lot of different ways depending on the person. It's complicated but won't be very important to the plot or character development in the roleplay so no need to worry.
