Name: Windblade
Faction: Autobots
Gender: Female
Appearance:-Robot Mode: With a robot mode that combines a samurai aesthetic with elements from the fact that she can transform into a jet plane, Windblade certainly has a tendency to make a splash when she arrives on scene. It would be genuinely quite difficult to mistake her for any other transformer as a result. Her face was painted in such a way as to resemble the white face paint and red makeup that a Kabuki performer or a Geisha girl might wear. On top of that, the top of her head had an attachment that resembled the accoutrements of one of the same.
Where her eyes would be are painted a more metallic shade of white, and this is covered with notable blue accents. The rest of her head is designed to look as though she were wearing an elaborate Geisha's hairstyle. Her shoulders appear much like a samurai's armor might, along with the plating that ran across her arms and legs. This kept up a general red and black paint scheme with blue accents that continued across her back, which in turn opened into a pair of beetle-like wings.
These wings carried on them the same turbines that were present when she presented herself as a plane, and indeed they provided her with the ability to fly even while in this mode. That was remarkably useful all things considered, and of course was perhaps one of the reasons that others had elected to continue to refer to her as Windblade.
Other aspects of her robotic design continue this same general scheme. For instance, the area of her torso where her legs connect to her body appears to be something like a metallic non-moving version of a dress. This excessive perhaps overtly traditional design provided plenty of an area in her torso to hide away her spark. It was actually ironic, though, considering how not traditional some parts of her personality were.

The turbines that were present on her winds slide forward while those aforementioned wings instead slide backwards to form a prominent wing section and a tail.
The way that her turbofans were designed gave her VTOL performance, meaning that she could take off vertically and land the same since they could be rotated to alter the direction of thrust. On top of this, she had a white nosecone that provided plenty in the way of aerodynamics.
Most of her plane body was painted red, with the tail instead coated in black paint that continued down to the weapon stores below. Much like any other military fighter jet, Windblade had configurable weapons hard points that were visible areas that gave her flexibility when it came to a mission load out.
In terms of moveable areas, her landing gear can of course raise and lower, and hardpoints along the fighter jet dorsal back also open and shut. This serves to not only provide a sufficient level of functionality, but also to give her a feeling of speed and utility. Windblade knows this fact all too well, and she can often be seen flying loops and moving weapons racks to frighten off cowardly and less honorable enemies.
http://www.thechosenprime.com/assets/im ... g12-03.jpgPersonality: The samurai's code of honor defined much of her personality, and she generally seemed rather formal, but it should be noted that Windblade has broken with tradition in several key areas. Nevertheless, she considers herself Star Saber's vassal, and would gladly do anything for him. Indeed, she feels honor bound to him as such. Therefore she would give her life at any moment without the slightest question when on a mission for him.
As someone who tends to put duty and truth before everything else, Windblade is honest. In fact, she's so bluntly honest that it can sometimes be insulting, but this is largely due to the fact that telling any lie, even a little white one, would violate the complicated code of honor that she had constructed. Some of her friends have, at times, seen her as too trusting as a result.
For a while she worked alongside a bodyguard named Chromia, and she often had this criticism of Windblade for sure. In fact, she had to face difficult choices between truth and doing her duty, and this has made her feel extremely uncomfortable.
Despite her adherence to such a code and the fact that she is so devoted to Star Saber, Windblade isn't the type to go around and follow ceremonies or traditions just because they're in place. She'll gladly drop any sort of ritual or formal procedure if it doesn't suit her current needs, though of course she'd do whatever Star Saber told her to even if she hadn't actually wanted to.
Job Title: Galaxy Force Swordswoman
Weapons: Due to her unique transformation, Windblade has two entirely different sets of weapon. One set is designed for use when she's in her plane form, and the other is designed for use when she's in her robot form. When she is in her robot form, she carries an impressive blade known as the Stormfall sword. This is a translucent blade that carries one of her prominent turbines at the hilt of it. She uses this blade in a fashion that's every bit as unique as its design. Naturally the sword itself can be used for slashing or stabbing, but she can then strike with that hefty hilt after she takes several swipes. It serves as a pretty potent weapon to say the least.
She can also detach her headdress, take it off her head module and then use it as a Japanese tessenjutsu war fan. At certain times she's also elected to throw it, which can make for a powerful and deadly ranged attack.
When she is in her plane mode, she can configure weaponry based on exterior hard points, which generally provide for a load out of bombs and missiles in addition to a canon mounted inside of a recessed area in her nosecone.
History: Originally Windblade lived on the planet Caminus. She was born from a hot spot that was within the original mechanical organisms that colonized the planet, which of course ultimately leant their name to it. While their name was known, information about anything else is scarce, and it could be said that no one really knows what Caminus was or is.
Eventually the Caminus world grew cut off from Cybertron, but a connection was reestablished when Thunderclash had arrived. Many of the others on the planet weren't exactly keen on strangers, so there was an increasingly escalating conflict between those who wanted to open up the planet and those who didn't. Ultimately she was sort of forced to take sides as a result. Now Thunderclash of course was the leader of a squad of Autobots, which meant that all of a sudden the individuals on this planet took a small step into a much larger universe.
Windblade had been fighting alongside of a bodyguard named Chromia to keep the peace on Caminus in the first place, and both of them sided with Thunderclash along with an engineer named Nautica. After they joined up with Thunderclash, they came across an important Autobot sage, who taught her many different things. He informed them that his partner had become wounded and required assistance. He was unable to provide that assistance, so Windblade and the rest of them boarded a vessel that took them to an aquatic world known as Hydrophena.
It was there that they found out that an unusual sort of alchemical virus was quickly overcoming Dynaplex, who was the partner of the sage that was previously telling more about the nature of the outside world to Windblade. Naturally the trio did everything that they could to repair him, and it was then that Windblade decided to throw her lot in with the rest of the Autobots. The compatriots that Windblade had fought along side also joined with her, but in the ensuing conflict Windblade had lost touch with them.
Ultimately she sought out the ability to become a vassal and once more serve as a samurai, considering that her original design gave her the function as much and she didn't want to let herself grow lazy after being shown this universe of wonders. As a result, she ended up going off with Star Saber as his vassal, and was sincerely devoted to his cause on many missions after this. Though she might not exactly be one to adhere to every aspect of ceremony and such, Windblade really does appreciate the fact that she has someone to serve in that respect.
After serving with him for a while, Windblade watched as Star Saber gathered up Autobots close to him. Since the Decepticons had gone off into space, it was this force known as the Galaxy Force that chased after them. She had of course already been given the title of Galaxy Force Swordswoman, and took it far more seriously than most other Autobots would have ever taken a title.
Regardless, Star Saber eventually heard about what had happened on Earth. Many people had actually assumed that his forces fighting the Decepticons had all died off, since the fight had taken so long and the distances involved in space travel were so vast. Nevertheless, Windblade was not one to give up. When Star Saber went off to Earth, she obediently followed. Actually, obedience was probably the wrong word seeing as Star Saber had really originally discouraged her for her own safety.
Nevertheless, she was devoted to him and as a result followed him anyway, feeling that she never could have abandoned her leader in spite of his demands or even the mounting threat that was growing here on Earth. Windblade is today dedicated to the Autobot's cause on Earth.
