The Cybertronian race has been at war for endless ages. For as long as any of them can remember, their home planet of Cybertron has been a place of endless warfare. A once-idealistic utopia of technology fell into a civil war due to rapidly dwindling resources. Energon, their fuel and lifeblood, had been mined into near non-existence, and battle broke out over what little Energon remained in the depths of their world. This war created a schism between the people of Cybertron, resulting in their separation into two major factions: The Autobots, who strived for peace and a less violent solution to their war, and the Decepticons, who wished for survival by any means necessary, even if it meant killing other Cybertronians.

Eventually, their war reached such a point that Cybertron itself was damaged irreparably, the last vestiges of Energon beneath the world's surface destroyed in an eruption that left a massive scar on the planet. With no harvestable energon left in their environment, the Decepticons planned to leave the world, to seek whatever harvestable Energon from other planets they could find. Their sensors found a planet rich in the resource, half a galaxy away: Earth. Inhabited by a primitive race of organic aliens and many other forms of life, it was a shining bastion of hope in a dark and unforgiving cosmos. They departed, with the intention of a hostile colonization.

With no hope left on their dying homeworld, the Autobots pursued their adversaries. Though they could not save themselves, there was still the hope that they could save whoever the Decepticons' wrath was aimed at. And so they chased the Decepticons through the void of space, eventually reaching their target planet in the year of 1987. The headstart that the Decepticons had gave them the advantage, and utilizing the designs of human military vehicles to enhance their already-impressive combat abilities, they began a hostile takeover of the planet.

The Autobots arrived too late to stop the enslavement of humanity, but prevented the Decepticons from taking the planet entirely for themselves. Taking the side of the native Human species, the Autobots fought against the oppressive Decepticon regime, in the hopes of both restoring the freedom of humanity and to prevent their captors from using the planet's Energon reserves to make themselves even more powerful. Unfortunately, it was a losing battle; a massive reserve of Energon in the depths of Russia had been locked on to during arrival, and the Decepticons had used their early arrival to harvest massive amounts and bolster their numbers prior to launching their attack.

But with endless determination, the Autobots fought. They proved to humanity that they were their allies, and as an offering of aid, they shared technology with the people they fought alongside in the fields of war. Humans adapted to the new advancements very quickly, supplying troops with arms and armour that could allow a squad of soldiers to take down a full-sized Cybertronian. It seemed as if there was a chance for victory, a chance to defeat the Decepticons, until various world leaders began to ally themselves with their invaders willingly. A pragmatic move meant to save humanity, but one that crippled Autobot efforts for decades.

Time passed, and much like the Autobots had, the Decepticons began to utilize their technology alongside their Humans. While promised safety and advancement, their freedoms were taken from them, and most lived as little more than slaves. The world as a whole became much more technological, to the point where areas of high population began to resemble the old homeworld, a new Cybertron. Another world was split into two by the conflict, one of the Decepticon Empire, housed in their castles of homeworld technology and of the Autobot Rebellion, hidden from the ever-present eye of the regime as they battled in secret, striking at the Decepticons from the shadows and freeing as many as they could.

Of course, Humans did not sit idly by while alien machines warred on their planet. Using the technology they were provided by the Autobots, as well as the bodies of dead Decepticons when possible, they built a new form of machine: one that was a bond of the Human mind and Cybertronian power. These new machines could be piloted by a skilled organic, housed safely within the robot's torso, while supplied with all the strength and weapons capability of the Cybertronians themselves. The rebellion ignited a new flame of hope, and Human and Autobot alike worked together to fight their rulers, establish territories, and create their own highly-advanced sanctuaries free of Decepticon rule.

It seemed as though together, there could be hope for freedom, but some Humans took a different line of thought. The Cybertronians, Decepticon and Autobot alike, were responsible for the state of the world. They had no right to this planet, its people, or its resources. Why fight alongside any of them, now that they had the technology to be rid of them all? A third faction rose from the flames of war, a pro-Human group that broke off of the Human-Autobot coalition to fight for their own purpose: freeing Earth of any and all Cybertronian threats, and taking back their world as their own.

Guidelines
• Cybertronian characters can be either canons or original characters. Human characters must be original characters.
• The universe does not follow any single Transformers continuity, and is entirely self-contained.
• If you wish to play a specific Cybertronian, please let us know so nobody else jumps at them before you can begin writing them.

Concepts
Cybertronians
The denizens of the planet Cybertron are mechanical lifeforms powered by Energon. They are fully sentient machines capable of thought, emotion, and learning. Cybertronians, known as "Transformers" in casual terms to most Humans, come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes, which are further altered when a Cybertronian gains an alternate mode, usually a vehicle of some sort, but sometimes a large mechanical animal. The alt-mode can be changed by scanning a new but similar source, and the size of the Cybertronian in question can limit the effectiveness of the alt-mode. Cybertronian 'biology' consists of highly advanced technology the likes of which humanity has never been able to produce on their own, with a majority of their bodies made up of a sort of self-repairing, strong, and surprisingly light metal. Energon flows through their bodies like blood, and can be resupplemented by consumption. Each holds a sort of power core in their chests called a Spark, something that even Cybertronians cannot make artificially. The Spark is essentially the soul of the individual, the source of their personality and traits, and is apparently not built. When a new Cybertronian is constructed and infused with Energon, the Spark forms apparently spontaneously. If a Spark is destroyed, the Cybertronian will permanently die; on the inverse, Sparks can be transplanted into new bodies and kept sustained indefinitely with Energon life support.

Cybertron
The home planet of the Cybertronian race. Cybertron was an extremely advanced planet with naturally-occurring mechanical life, most of which was sentient to varying degrees. Almost all landmass on the planet was made up of layered continent-spanning cities, many of which were built high enough to reach into the upper atmosphere. Below the 'surface' (actually a sort of planetary shell supported by the cities) there was once a vast ocean of Energon, which has been all but drained dry. The remnants were destroyed in the Cybertronian Civil War, which also took a large portion of the surface with it in the resulting explosion. These days, Cybertron is nearly abandoned, with only stragglers and survivors of the war making a meager living with most of their population either dead or off-world. With almost no Energon, it seems a very real possibility that the planet will never recover, a possibility that forced the Cybertronians to flee.

Energon
The single most important resource in the universe to the Cybertronians. Energon is believed to be the blood of the Cybertronian god, Primus, and is a naturally-occurring element found throughout the galaxy. Cybertron itself once had vast oceans of raw Energon below its surface, but has long been drained almost entirely. Asteroids containing the substance were commonly mined, and few other planets in the galaxy have large enough deposits to be worth the price of interstellar travel. Energon keeps Cybertronians alive, acting as a food, a medicine, and as a rough analogue to blood. In its raw form, the material is extremely volatile, and can cause overenergized delusions if consumed or violently explode if not carefully harvested. In processed forms, Energon is much more agreeable, capable of fairly easy storage and handling. Its volatile properties make it useful for forming weapons, both melee and projectile, that are strong enough to pierce a Cybertronian's tough exterior.

Primus
Primus is the creator-god of the Cybertronians. Interpretations of his existence vary greatly among even individuals, with some having no faith in him at all. According to old myths, he created the planet of Cybertron, and using his own blood (later known as Energon) brought life to the planet. He first created thirteen Primes, who each have their own form of deitic status in Cybertronian beliefs. They were believed to have been created to do battle against another being in Cybertronian faith known as Unicron, a force of primal destruction, but one of the thirteen betrayed the others and joined him. Historical evidence of what may have happened next does not exist, but whatever the events were, they led to the uprising of the entire Cybertronian race.

Mecha
Giant robots constructed utilizing Cybertronian technology, allowing a skilled Human pilot to match them in combat. Most mechas utilize onboard AIs to aid in combat, alerting the pilot of danger or assisting their aim with weapons, but lack the true sentience of Cybertronians themselves. Most are mass-produced and share the same basic combat abilities, with the most generic model lacking transformation capability. Specialized mechas often have the capability to transform into a combat vehicle capable of being operated entirely by the pilot, and commonly take the form of fighter planes and tank-like ground vehicles. While somewhat experimental, some mechas that are constructed from dead Cybertronians have been built, though a lack of proper understanding regarding the Spark sometimes causes issues with the AI if it isn't properly removed from the body.

Decepticon Empire
After their arrival on Earth, the army of the Decepticons initiated mining operations in the deep Russian wilderness, gathering mass amounts of Energon and beginning construction of new cities for defense and creation of new Decepticons. As the majority of Cybertronians had been under the Decepticon banner already, their already-impressive numbers grew to new heights, and thus they initiated a hostile takeover of Earth. Built around the starship Nemesis, the central city of New Cybertron was constructed, from which the Decepticons spread their influence across most of the Eurasian continent. With only the pitiful resistance of 1980s era Earth technology facing them, it was a hopelessly one-sided war that put most of humanity into enslavement. As time passed, the structure of the Empire grew, led into a new golden age for the Cybertronian invaders on their colony. It now spans 75% of Earth's landmass, and Energon mining operations occur in any place with large deposits within their territory.

Autobot Resistance
While the arrival of the Autobots did prevent the Decepticons from completely enslaving Earth's native population, it was too little, too late. Their first contact with still-independent Humans very nearly ended up another battle, but with some effort, they proved themselves friendly and began to fight for freedom alongside humanity. What they lacked greatly in numbers, they made up for in skill and determination. They freed more Human territories from Decepticon control, teaching the liberated people how to utilize their technology in battle. Nowadays, while they still have a disadvantage of numbers and reach, they've formed a very well-structured army within the territory that they hold. Energon deposits that remained undiscovered by the Decepticons were utilized by the Autobots to create new equipment and machinery, much of which allowed the Humans to match Cybertronian strength in combat, in the hopes that they could drive off the decepticons for good.

Matrix of Leadership
A Cybertronian artifact of great power and cultural importance, believed to have come from one of the original 13 Primes. Whoever is in possession of the Matrix gains great amounts of strength, and is considered to be the true leader of the Cybertronian race. However, the Matrix cannot simply be taken and used; it seems to choose who it bestows its power upon, through processes that remain uncertain to Cybertronians themselves. When its current owner dies, they can choose another to transfer it to, and if they are worthy enough to utilize it, they will become its new chosen user. Besides simply granting strength, the Matrix seems to have a variety of seemingly divine powers, with some past users known to be able to manipulate sparks, converse with dead Cybertronians, and create new Cybertronian life without the use of Energon.

Name: Megatron

Faction: Decepticon

Gender: Male

Appearance
-Robot Mode: Megatron is a large, imposing figure with a standing height of forty feet. His three primary colours are black, silver, and purple. Overall, he could be described as angular and 'sharp,' especially on his limbs, as his shins, the bottoms of his forearms, and his shoulders all taper into pointed edges. His hands are large and four-fingered, each digit ending in a claw, and his face is semi-humanoid. He lacks any structure resembling a nose, and has a maw of sharp teeth and beady red optics, but his facial structure is mobile enough to be expressive. His head has an almost triangular silhouette, flatter at the top with two long cheek guards running along his jaw. His body is shaped with large shoulders and legs, while his waist is a bit smaller. Black metal makes up most of his body, which is then covered in layers of protective silver plating. Purple 'veins' run across his entire body beneath the armour, and stamped directly over his spark is the Decepticon sigil, which glows a deep purple at all times. Some parts of his armour plating on his chest, waist, and knees also have similar glowing purple aspects. A 'backpack' of sorts can partially transform onto his right arm, increasing its overall mass and deploying a forearm-mounted ion cannon, normally kept out of way on his back when not in use. On his calves and thighs, contained within folded plates of armour, tank treads can be seen through the cracks.

-Alternate Mode: Megatron has two alternate modes. The first and primary is a Cybertronian tank, similar in form to that of a Soviet T-72, but distinctly futuristic in aesthetic. The armour is primarily silver, with sharp edges lining the areas around his treads, along with spikes on the front and back ends. The turret is almost polygonal in shape, and the cannon is capable of firing both Energon shells and ion blasts. Megatron's tank mode is capable of speed and agility beyond any Human-made tank, even featuring boosting jets on it to allow for extra quick movement and jumps. His secondary mode is that of a mobile turret. The bottom half of his altmode remains roughly the same, if slightly upturned on the rear end, while his top half transforms into a more seat-like construct that's of a rideable size for another Cybertronian in the twenty-to-thirty foot size range. His cannon changes form into a triple-barreled gatling gun, capable of much more rapid fire than the tank mode, as well as having the advantage of an ally guiding his weapons while he can focus solely on movement.

Personality: Nowadays infamous as a merciless warlord, Megatron is indeed very power hungry. His confidence is to the point of extreme arrogance, and he believes himself inherently better than many Cybertronians and all Humans. To him, power is everything, and might most certainly makes right. Leadership, or a twisted form of it, is his primary motivator in life. Somewhere deep down, he truly does want the best for his people, even if massive sacrifices must be made. However, he unwaveringly thinks that he is the best for his people, a leader who is not afraid to take violent initiative when necessary and who does not put the needs of others above their own.

Despite this, he is not a single-minded monster. He is most certainly a dictator, but one who will make compromises - when the compromise benefits him. He also does not kill indiscriminately. While public executions to make a statement are an effective and often-utilized method of his, he much prefers to try and goad others into working for him. He knows the importance of luxury: he gives subjects not just the bare necessities to survive, but to thrive. People who come to him with peaceful surrender are rewarded with lifetimes of relative comfort, provided they are willing to do as they are told. For many, this reward far outweighs the risk of facing his wrath. He's also, in a way, deeply respectful of those who prove to be worth it. Optimus Prime in particular is a symbol of his near-obsessive mind, to the point where he's outlawed his death at the hands of anyone other than himself.

Job Title: Leader of the Decepticons

Weapons: Megatron's sharp armour and extremities make for good weapons on their own, capable of tearing apart weaker machinery, but he carries two weapons in particular that he is extremely skilled with.

The first is his ion cannon, an Energon-powered firearm nearly as long as his torso. When hidden away in his back, it can still be seen poking out over his shoulder. When deployed, it telescopes into its full size, mounting on his right forearm. The weapon is black in colour, and fires purple projectiles in the form of both smaller bullet-like Energon shells (each roughly the size of a tank cannon's shell) and pure blasts of plasma-like Energon.

The second is his Energon mace, a weapon carried since his days as a gladiator. Even in an inactive state, the mace is a deadly weapon constructed from the same black material as his cannon, a two-handed flanged weapon with a tip nearly the size of his chest. When activated, the weapon takes an even deadlier form: spikes emerge from the top of the weapon, and blades burst forth from the flanges, made of solidified purple Energon. Few who see the weapon in this state live to tell about it, allowing it to act as a deadly trump card.

History: Megatron began life as a lowly laborer, created to mine Energon deep below the surface of Cybertron, not even given a proper name. As far as anyone was concerned, he was going to live and die deep in the tunnels, nothing more than a simple, small cog in the machine that was Cybertronian society. Very few of his caste's members were happy with their lives, but none were brave enough to speak up against the system. Castes were how things had always worked, even long after the disappearance of mysterious beings spoken of only in quiet whispers, the society remained unchanging. It was stable, but to the lowest castes, 'stable' was better said as 'stagnant.'

He began shirking his duties, no longer content to remain a faceless member of an ever-growing crowd of oppressed Cybertronians. He knew little of their history or even of how their world operated above the surface, but he knew that he no longer wanted his fate. Instead of mining for society, Megatron would spend time gathering Energon for himself, stowed away secretly within his living quarters. It was meant as a contingency plan: a source of fuel and weaponry for himself in case things went wrong. Part of him always meant to flee, but something changed his mind: a mine guard nearly killing another worker for causing a cave-in that injured themselves and detonated a small supply of Energon.

Appalled at the display, Megatron intervened. He was never armed early in life, but he'd always had impressive size and strength. The guard was fought off, and in the process, gravely wounded. Megatron was later subdued by other guards, arrested for assault on a government officer, and after the guard was unable to recover from their wounds and shut down, murder. In a way, Megatron got what he wanted: he was no longer a lowly miner. Now, he was a lowly fighter in a millennia-old coliseum, sentenced to death by combat against other, much more prepared gladiators.

Nobody expected him to start winning. Megatron fought hard, tearing through the rookie gladiators they used him as training bait for. Eventually, they sent more and more experienced fighters into the ring with him, as well as Cybertronian wildlife, expecting something to kill him at some point. And yet, he fought on, surviving battle after endless battle in the arena. He began to make a name for himself - quite literally, as during his time between battles, he was taught of Cybertronian history and religion. Shaky and unclear as it was, he understood the basics, and took on the name of one of the Thirteen Primes: Megatronus Prime, picked due to a pretentious thought of himself as a force for change against Cybertronian society. Such a title was disallowed for use even for a gladiator, so he instead shortened it to Megatron.

He became very popular among the rebellious and downtrodden on the planet, and due to the amount of time he spent in the arena and his impressive combat resume that he built up, his murder charges were eventually cleared. Unfortunately, his time fighting and his given freedom for it put into his mind two unwavering thoughts: that violence could solve any problem, and that if it could win him freedom, it could win him power. These became the driving forces in Megatron's mind. One day, he would fight his way to the top of Cybertronian society, and free them all from the oppression of the endless regime.

A war broke out between two Cybertronian city-states, despite the best attempts of the world's uniting senate to prevent it. Warriors were recruited from all over to act as an intervening army, shutting down both sides of the war before it intensified to an uncontrollable degree. Sentinel Prime, then the owner of the Matrix of Leadership, personally contracted Megatron for the cause. It was an opportunity to leave the gladiatorial arena behind, and in some way, truly make a difference for society. He took the offer immediately, and his skills on the battlefield proved invaluable for the fight.

During his time there, he met someone who introduced himself as Orion Pax. Megatron acted as a combat mentor to Orion, and the two became swift friends. While they had different world views regarding how best to chance Cybertron, they could fully agree that it needed to change. Along with combat training, the pair shared many philosophical talks, and forged a brotherly bond in the flames of war during their times both on and off the field. Megatron, for the first time in his long and harsh life, had someone he could call a true ally and accomplice. Utilizing the attention they got from their battles in the civil war, Megatron began to speak out against the senate whenever possible, his natural charisma and desires for change inspiring many across the world. He was a hero, one who would do anything to bring change.

And yet, the change he so desired and promised to fight for never came. Even after the war ended, both sides sated by the intervention of Sentinel Prime's army, the Prime himself did not bring the changes that he'd promised. Megatron began to grow restless, leading demonstrations and protests against the senate alongside many other Cybertronians that began to follow him. The faithful only served to further his delusions of violent uprising, and Megatron decided that the only way he could get the senate to change was to become the next Prime himself. He attempted to earn the title the only way he knew how: by killing Sentinel Prime and taking the Matrix.

In a vicious fight, Megatron destroyed Sentinel. He tore the Matrix from his body, expecting it to immediately bond to him, the rightful heir to its power. But it did not. The Matrix refused him, and instead bound to another: Orion Pax. Megatron's entire world shattered that day, and something inside him was irreversibly broken. His first friend had been chosen by a power that he rightfully deserved, and he was villainized by the society he tried to hard to fight for. Megatron allowed himself to be arrested without resistance, and was taken back to his home city-state to be imprisoned for the rest of his life.

And thus, the formation of the Decepticons began. Along with his still-loyal followers, Megatron took over the prison, and then the city itself. Branding themselves with an ancient Cybertronian symbol, they staged a violent rebellion: one that would go on to destroy Cybertronian society, and eventually, the world itself. Megatron became mad with power, and wished to destroy any and all who opposed him at first, reveling in merciless slaughter of Autobot soldier and civilian alike. For a few cycles, this was his modus operandi. Causing chaos and tearing apart infrastructure at all levels, until he came to the realization that ending lives when he could instead lead them to further his old goal of a new Cybertron was a better option. While he still had no hesitation in killing on the battlefield, he instead desired to make the remaining society his own. The first and most important step, of course, was to eliminate the senate.

Eventually, he succeeded, and plunged Cybertron into a lawless dark age of war and strife. It was a necessary time of suffering, one that would herald a golden age of Decepticon law, free of the old ways. At least, that's what he told himself, even as Energon deposits dwindled due to destruction and overproduction of weaponry. Eventually, an attack on an Autobot territory detonated a sea of Energon, and the last deposit that made continued life on Cybertron viable. Megatron seemed to realize his mistakes: his attacks became less frequent, and it seemed almost as if the war would finally end.

However, all was not lost for their race. Scanning deep into space, another planet rich with Energon was discovered: Earth. It was an extremely long journey to it, but one survivable with use of stasis and backups of Energon that still existed. Megatron announced the journey to all Cybertronians in Decepticon territory, and upon gathering many of their numbers into a massive spaceship, they traveled to Earth and began a takeover.

It was a one-sided war of colonization against the locals, and after making a large portion of the planet's most Energon-rich continent into an empire, the Decepticons attempted to spread their reach worldwide. Their aggressive takeover was not able to be completed, as the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, gave chase to stop the Decepticons and save Earth's native inhabitants.

Name: Prowl

Faction: Autobot

Gender: Male

Appearance
-Robot Mode: Prowl is a more average-sized Cybertronian, standing at a full height of 22 feet. His body type is not particularly bulky, nor is it too thin. His primary colours are that of black and white, and his body is overall quite sleek, with few hard edges. Parts of his altmode are visible as armour in robot mode, as his chest resembles the bumper, headlights, and parts of a hood of a car. His shoulder pads have both his front wheels and doors on the rear ends, as well as the lights of his chase sirens, and the backs of his calves consist of his rear wheels. His arms are of average length, ending in four-fingered hands and host to large ball-jointed elbows. His knees are likewise ball jointed, with prominent kneepads and shins guards protecting his joints and wheels. His head is well-proportioned and humanoid, with a mouth but no nose, a large chin, and a prominent black visor above his eyes. A silver diamond-shaped crest and a pair of red, upwards-curving crests coming off the bottom of it add a decorative touch to his helmet. On his chest, he has a star painted on, the center of which contains his Autobot sigil. The headlights still function, as do the siren lights on his shoulders. When in battle, he deploys an orange visor and mouthplate to protect his face. He can also move quickly by partially transforming his feet, using his ankle wheels as rollerskates.

-Alternate Mode: In his alternate mode, Prowl takes the form of a futuristic black and white police car. The car is not based on any model of car from the time period of the old world, but instead the upgraded ones that are used to patrol Decepticon cities by human sympathizers. The car has a sleek top and sides, with black and white colour placements in the appropriate places along the doors, hood, and roof. The hood's star design remains intact, but his Autobot sigil can be disguised, simply fading away to make him otherwise entirely resemble a normal car. The wheels are half-covered on the sides by armour plating that mimics the bulletproof plating on normal police cars, and a raised spoiler in the back adds a touch of aerodynamics and style to the design. Prowl also has a combat-ready vehicle mode, the same as his normal altmode, but with his weaponry deployed. Missile launchers emerge from his front bumper, spikes emerge from his tires if the need of extra traction arises, and electricity-channeling Energon batons can be deployed from his front wheel hubcaps.

Personality: Prowl is not a very pleasant person. He's endlessly focused on duty, courage, and upholding the law - and has a long history of looking down heavily upon anyone who doesn't. He considers himself one who works better alone, or with others that his own strict standards would heavily limit the numbers of. Not very social, Prowl puts work first and relationships somewhere around seventh, and is endlessly dedicated to his job. While this can make him seem cold and distant, it also makes him very good at maintaining order, an invaluable skill for the Autobots to have. Forceful as he can be, he also firmly believes that the law is only good if it does good for the people, and a system without true justice is a system that should be replaced.

On a more personal level, Prowl is pretty much just as serious as ever, dry and humorless in a way that somehow rounds back and apparently makes him quite funny to some people. He honestly doesn't get it and finds it slightly annoying. Very level headed, he's rare to get to a state that could well and truly be called **** off, even if his general attitude gives off an air of dead seriousness and irritation. While not much one for friends, when he pledges himself to someone, he's one of the most loyal allies that person will ever have. He has a deep admiration and respect for people that prove themselves brave, and in more recent years, has begun to not look down on those who aren't as much, instead recognizing that is duty should be to protect and serve those who can't protect themselves. His hatred of those who abuse power has only grown exponentially because of this.

Job Title: Autobot Special Weapons And Tactics

Weapons: For close combat, Prowl uses a pair of Energon-chargable batons that deploy from his forearms into his hands. Both have a tonfa-style grip to them, capable of being wielded with the side handles used as guards or in a more acrobatic style where they're swung around. Both batons are a dark metallic colour, with blue meters on the handles that display their charge. When augmented with Energon, they take on a crackling electric aspect, capable of stunning Cybertronians and mechs by expending large amounts of energy to fry their systems.

For longer ranges, Prowl's weapon of choice is a three-barreled combat shotgun that fires masses of Energon pellets. The gun lacks a stock and has shorter barrels than most weapons of its type, allowing it to be easily wielded one-handed, and is devastatingly powerful up close, while still dangerous at considerable distances. In addition, he can deploy a pair of shoulder-mounted missile launchers, which can fire at even longer range and have an explosive element to them.

History: Ever since he was young, Prowl wanted to be a hero. He was forged in a comfortable civilian-level caste, and lived a very standard life for much of his early cycles. Never really able to decide what he wanted to do, he studied a good deal of subjects, learning some basic medical and combat skills, but never quite settling down to pick a path and go down it. Eventually, due to said indecisiveness and the influence of a Cybertronian he became involved with named Barricade, he ended up becoming something of a petty criminal. Prowl rarely involved himself with the crimes himself, mostly taking guard duty and keeping watch for the others.

They never harmed anyone (to Prowl's knowledge) and rarely made too much of an impact, yet Prowl was never quite content with the path he was on. He found himself wanting more, and had a deep disappointment in himself whenever he considered his earlier dreams. One day, while preparing some funds for a job, Prowl and Barricade were caught in the crossfire of a heist pulled on a credit bank they were both in. Taken hostage, the two were held at gunpoint for hours until the city's law enforcement responded. The robbers responded with violence, and after holding off the first wave of attack, began to execute the civilians that they held in the bank.

During the commotion of another attack by the police, the two managed to escape their restraints, and began to fight against the robbers from the inside out. The two ambushed and disabled one of them after the fight ended and the rest returned to the vault, taking his weapons and leaving him immobile, but still alive. In a risky move, they proceeded to fight their way out of the bank, clearing a path to a rear exit to allow the civilians to escape. Most proceeded toward the police, while Prowl and Barricade disappeared, taking all of the robbers' weaponry with them as a sort of self-reward for the good deed.

It opened up a new career path to them, one that the two immediately leapt at: bounty hunting and vigilante work. It was still dangerous and sometimes morally questionable, but Prowl enjoyed it, knowing that the two were at least doing some good bringing in dangerous criminals. This work continued for a good few cycles, until a civil war broke out. The two left their city-state to avoid being roped into the confrontation, and took the opportunity to utilize the skills they learned over time to become actual police officers. They worked well together and had taken a liking to the work of bringing people in, and after applying for the work, they were accepted into the line of duty.

Prowl, finally, was content. Being a police officer was not as flashy and heroic as some other lines of work out there, but he was utilizing his skills to uphold the law and protect the people, rather than committing the crimes that had necessitated the line of work for so long. And in the face of civil war, there was plenty of work to be had. Protests, especially those rallied by an ex-gladiator, became more and more prevalent over the cycles. One of said protests led to the escape of an especially violent gladiator from the coliseum, which led to a good number of casualties, including the gladiator himself. Prowl managed to put him down personally, though the battle damaged his weapon, as it was sliced to a nearly half barrel length during the encounter.

For a good while, things seemed to calm down, until it was learned that the leading Prime at the time had been murdered. Prowl and Barricade had, in recent times, begun to have a schism in their beliefs. Prowl believed in Sentinel Prime, whereas Barricade took interest Megatron's intentions to change society. When the Prime was killed, and Megatron formed a new faction, Barricade betrayed Prowl and left him for dead during a suppressing battle against a group of Decepticons. Prowl could hardly believe that his nearly lifelong friend would do such a thing to him, and from then on, he was never quite the same.

With vengeance on the mind, Prowl joined the Autobots, intent on one day engaging his old 'friend' in battle to take him down. Optimus Prime proved himself to be a great leader, and Prowl gave him his full loyalty. Now, there was no more police, no more senate, no castes. There were Autobots and Decepticons. While he is still one of the more aggressive Autobots on the team, Prowl would never think of double-crossing his new comrades.

Name: Airazor

Faction: Autobot

Gender: Female

Appearance
-Robot Mode:
Airazor is somewhat smaller than average, standing at a height of 18 feet, with a thinner body type than many other similarly sized Cybertronians. She has long limbs and a lithe torso, overall very smooth-edged and sleek. Her chest is primarily made of her altmode's head, and her shoulder pads are made of the rearmost part of it, sleek and angled upward. Her biceps and thighs are both a gold shade, as are parts of her stomach and sides, while her forearms, shins, and hips are a darker shade of bronze. Both parts of her lower limbs are edged, in particular a line of sharp 'feather' blades on her arms. Her feet have two formations, a single-pointed foot and a more birdlike dexterous foot, which she can swap between when needed. In addition, the large talons of her altmode's feet can swing out over her hands when needed. On her back, she has a pair of large wings and jet turbines, as well as a smaller pair of stabilizer fins on her hips, which are the same darker shade as her lower limbs. When not in use, the wings can fold up into a compact size, and the turbines can still be used for hovering and enhancing her jumps. Her facial features are humanoid and distinctly feminine, though she lacks a nose. Silver in colour, her face stands out behind a helmet, which is birdlike. A crest resembling the hook of a beak covers her forehead and extends to her 'nose,' while the rear of her head is covered in a sleek, somewhat spiky helmet. A faceplate can be deployed to cover her mouth, the same shade as the rear of the helmet. Her optics, which are notably large, are a deep shade of green, topped off by a pair of expressive eyebrow plates.

-Alternate Mode: Airazor's altmode is that of a robotic bird, the schematics mostly based on a falcon. She is primarily bronze in this form, with gold on her beak, feet, and parts of her wings. Her head consists of her robot mode's chestplate and shoulder pads, as well as her helmet as the tip of the beak. Her legs form the altmode stomach, and her robot mode arms move position down her body to form her altmode legs, which are tipped in the much larger digits of her feet. The turbines on her robot mode backpack form the sides of her body, and are capable of extending outward under her wings to increase flight speed, normally partially sunken into the falcon's sides. The stabilizing fins combine into a single longer tail. The falcon's optics are green, and the shoulder pads form an upward-angled crest on either side of the back of the head. In this mode, she is capable of mach speed flight and incredible air maneuverability, skills which put her on par with a majority of the Decepticon's Seekers. Her wings extend to full length, giving her a span of nearly 25 feet from tip to tip. For combat, she can utilize a set of Energon machine guns built into her lower legs, or extend sharp edges at the front of her wings to slice things through collision.

Personality: Airazor is young and full of free spirit. Easy to get along with and quite friendly, she enjoys meeting new people, seeing new sights, and exploring whenever possible. She's quite energetic, and always wants something to do in down times to remain occupied. Another defining factor is her sense of humor. Always one to find something to joke about, she enjoys a bit of back-and-forth banter with friends, and as long as it's not malicious, it's a good way to get her to like you. She's also a little cocky, especially in a fight. Whether it's a friendly sparring match or a heated battle against a Decepticon, she'll throw out taunts and teases to make an enemy slip up. Plus, she just finds it fun to get folks riled up in the middle of a battle.

Despite all her lightheartedness, Airazor can be very professional and remains calm under pressure, and has nothing but the utmost respect for her superiors in the Autobot army. She holds a deep admiration for those who are compassionate and lend aid to those who need it, in part due to the fact that she was once in such a position. If a situation starts heading south, she drops all humor and can be extremely serious, knowing that when people are at risk, she needs to give it her full attention and avoid any possible slip-ups. Above all else, she wants to do good and give back to the people that changed her life, as well as prevent any others from being put in a situation at all similar to hers. While she holds a deep resentment for the Decepticons, she struggles with the idea of vengeance, as she fears that giving into the desire for it would make her no better than the cruel regime she fights against. In all, she's got a good heart and has a lot to learn, but she's making good progress in proving herself a worthy Autobot.

Job Title: Autobot Scout

Weapons: True to her name, Airazor has some impressive blades. In robot mode, her forearm 'feathers' can be extended to use as cutting weapons, and the talons from her beast mode feet can be further used as weaponry. The forward edges of her wingtips are also quite sharp, in part due to making up a pair of removable swords. Both blades are single-edged and slightly curved.

She also has a pair of rapid-fire Energon blasters in her robot mode forearms/beast mode shins, which can be used in either form. They are not particularly heavy caliber, but their nature as fully automatic weapons give her an effective way to provide covering fire or just light up a whole room. Both weapons are single barreled, and are deployed right into her hands in robot mode.

History: Airazor's early life was an unpleasant, chaotic stream of what are now broken memories. She was forged during the Autobot approach to Earth, long after the end of her people's homeworld had already occurred. Her protoform, among many others, were stored in what could be considered a nursery ship, one of a great many that accompanied the Ark on its journey across the universe. While the preexisting Autobots performed negotiations with Earth governments still free of Decepticon control, a low atmosphere patrol detected the ships and launched an attack.

While a powerful blow against the Autobots could have been done simply by destroying the ship, the Decepticons had other plans. Under the orders of a science team headed by Shockwave and Tarantulas, infamous for their experiments in creating drones and monstrous Cybertronians for their faction's army, the patrol raided the ship. The guards inside were killed or kidnapped, and the protoform stasis pods were stolen and brought back to the science team's headquarters. Each was cruelly experimented on, under the intent to further something called the Predacon Restoration Project, which stemmed from the great success of the Insecticon drones in battle, and a desire for more specialized drones.

Airazor was among the protoforms who survived. Immediately upon her activation, she was subject to experimentation that forced an altmode upon her, a robotic creature whose schematics were based on various Earth birds of prey. She was then scanned and used as a base for high-speed air Predacon drones. With her physiology also came another opportunity to utilize an creation the team had built, a mind control signal attached to Airazor's spark. It was a success, and the Decepticons could control her in battle, and by extension the rest of her Predacon clones.

For an entire decade, Airazor remained little more than a weapon to the Decepticons. The mind control, while effective, was not perfect. Occasionally, she would break free of it, thus necessitating her confinement after the killings of various science team underlings on multiple occasions. Attempts were made to reinforce the mind control multiple times, but Airazor continued to fight against it, struggling more and more every time she was operated on. In her moments of lucidity, she watched and learned much about her surroundings and her captors, storing as much information as she could while waiting for the perfect moment to act.

After a particularly harsh battle, Airazor required extensive repairs, and her drones needed a bolstering of their numbers after a mass destruction of them in the fight. Airazor regained lucidity partway through the operation, performed by a meek doctor. Rather than attack immediately, she bided time, waiting for him to remove the device from her spark in order to replace it with a new one. Her next move was an incredibly risky gambit, as she was still wounded from the surgery, but one that ultimately proved the first step in taking her life back from the Decepticons. When the doctor's back was turned, she attacked, wounding him badly.

After the initial moment of rage, she learned that the doctor was not working for the Decepticons of his own free accord, and was forced to work for them after being captured from a lost Autobot territory. He offered to let Airazor go if she did not kill him, to which she agreed. He patched up her wounds, but rather than leave him behind, she took the doctor along with her while she attempted to escape the base. Many troops fell under her blades and guns, with which she had an innate skill from her time as a drone. With the aid of the doctor's instructions, she made her way to the Predacon construction room, where Shockwave was in the process of creating more drones.

A fierce, but short battle ensued. Airazor used her agility to avoid the scientist's attacks, and severed his arm before destroying much of the lab. While she did not stop the experiment in its entirety, she intended to remove at least her own schematics from the database. Her method of deletion being 'shoot the computer until it explodes' was satisfying enough, and while Shockwave attempted to call for backup, she left with the doctor and escaped the base. Once outside, she transformed under her own will for the first time, and took the doctor far from Decepticon territory.

Their initial meeting with an Autobot scouting party nearly ended in another battle, until the situation was fully explained. When it was, the two were taken in for questioning, and allowed to integrate into Autobot society after they were proven legitimate. The doctor returned to civilian life, while Airazor wished to join the Autobots after meeting their leader. She retained her alternate mode from the Predacon experiments, but opted for a new colour for her finish, finally adopting the identity that she was meant to have.

Over the next few decades, she proved a valuable asset to the Autobots, and has made a name for herself in their numbers. While she's still young, her experience is undeniable, even if a portion of it came from forced uploads from Decepticon scientists.

Name: Wheeljack
Faction: Autobots
Gender: Male
Appearance
-Robot Mode:
Wheeljack's robot more is nothing special. Of white coloration with blue and yellow addorning his chest, his is a simple transformation, with the front of the car becoming his legs and feet, the roof forming the chest, and the back of the car forming the arms and shoulders. However, there are some details to note. He has small, angular wings coming off his back, allowing him flight, though limited. His face is covered by a mask-like covering, with a visor that can flip out from it when he needs to protect his eyes. On the sides of his head are two blue light-like devices, which he can use for illumination or to flash to speak in code. The most notable thing, however, is the autobot symbol in the middle of his chest, with a large slash across it.

Image

-Alternate Mode: A car that resembles a sports-car, but not as sleek was one would expect. The blue and yellow shift to resemble racing stripes, and the wings connect together to form a spoiler.

Personality:
Wheeljack loves science man. And by that, I mean he likes to make weird and odd devices and justify it by yelling science.

In honesty, Wheeljack is a very curious person. He wonders what would happen if he put these things together, or what he would need to do to make this happen."How?" is the question he most asks, and for his credit he often answers it. He understands he's inventing things to help the Autbots win the war, and he tries his best in order to help the cause, but to be honest he does this mostly for fun.

He would much prefer it to ONLY be for fun, however. For all of his successes, he's also had a number of failures, and each one weighs heavily on him, making him fear of the day one of his inventions is needed the most, only to failure and lead to the defeat of his allies. Or the day one of his inventions COULD have help, but did not exist due to him focusing on something else.

These fears also lead to him thinking everybody else thinks the same, and so Wheeljack thinks they all distrust him, expecting him to fail any day. He works on his inventions in order to remove his mind from these fears, but that leads to bouts of worry causing him to make a mistake and fail in creating something, causing more worries, causing him to go back to inventing in order to take his mind off of it. A stressful loop, which leads to Wheeljack to look forward to the day the war is over so he may invent in peace.

When he isn't inventing or worrying, however, he's a calm enough guy. Not the funnest person to hang out with, but drama won't be coming from him, and he's quite supportive, as pay back for the others being supportive of all the weird stuff he makes.

Job Title: Autobot Scientist

Weapons: Not being a bot of battle, one would think Wheeljack would be lacking in weaponry. But, as bot of science, Wheeljack ends up making a bunch of stuff nobody but him wants to use. Nobody appreciates genius.

His first, and main, weapon is his trusty wrench. It doesn't do much, but a decent whack hurts lightly armored opponents all the same.

His second set of weapons are two missile launchers that attach to his shoulder. Capable of firing a single missile at a time, they give him some decent firepower to wear down far-away enemies, or create a distraction if worst comes to worst.

However, their real use comes in the ability to launch more than missiles. Missiles with differing powers, such as freezing or releasing large amount of smoke for cover are possible, but tools such as nets and probes can also be used. This allowed Wheeljack to come prepare to a number of missions, but changing what they're set to launch mid-fight is highly impractical.

And his last bit of weaponry are twin swords, and in his opinion his greatest work in melee weaponry. With blades made out of a special alloy, they can cut though most anything, and have the ability to be super-heated to melt what they can't cut. And once an opening is made, electricity can be discharged to damage a Transformer's systems. And both the electrical system and the heating system have conveniently been downsized to fit into the handle!

Which means they're at constant risk of something messing up and them blowing up in the user's hands. And Wheeljack is terrible at sword fighting, so there's a risk of him stabbing one of his allies, or more likely his self. But he says that's the risk you take when using such useful tools!

He also has an odd spear that can launch disk-like projectiles, but even he questions the use of such a thing. He has an odd feeling if the autobots ever fight dragons, it'll be useful though!

History: Wheeljack was one of the few okay with the caste system. He was of the scientist caste, and truly loved it, simply creating things. It wasn't that he did not care about those worst off than him, he simply didn't realize how bad it was, stuck in his own little world. When the war broke out, it honestly took him by surprise, but he left it to the warriors and fighters.

When the SECOND war broke out, Wheeljack realized that he needed to take a side, and took to the Autobots. He had doubts, however. It was obvious they were in the right, yes, but would they truly be better for Cybertron's future? Could they even hope to win? And if they did, would anything change?

He tried to keep his doubts to his self, but other did learn of them. While many understood him, early in the war, others felt he was a traitor in the making. One such transformer even went as far to attack him, slashing him across the chest to strike out his Autobot symbol.

Such an act resonated with Wheeljack, who realized his lack of decisiveness would cause nothing but problems. He decided to stay with the Autobots and fully commit to the cause, and he soon saw he had made the right decision. However, the attack also placed within a fear of being called a traitor, and to this day he worries if others think of him as such.

As the years went by, he moved up the ranks, becoming one of the Autobot's lead scientists, known for making incredibly useful tools and weapons, if not being a bit... "creative" at times. This bothers him a bit, as he worries if one day his outlandish inventions might fail when a much more simple solution would have done wonders.

When the battle moved to Earth, Wheeljack instantly fell in love with the Humans and their technology, and was as eager to invent for them as his fellow transformers, feeling more comfortable around them due to a lack of pre-existing paranoia about lack of trust in him. Despite that, he will remain with the Autobots until the bitter end, because he knows, even if he thinks some of them don't trust him, he's appreciated by some and knows a Decepticon victory would end in nothing but sorrow.

Name: Optimus Prime
Faction: Autobot
Gender: Male

Appearance
-Robot Mode:

Image

Optimus' colors are red, blue, and silver. His primary color is red. His upper torso and arms are red. His hands are silver, with four long fingers. His head has a blue helmet and his lower legs are blue as well. His lower legs and torso are silver. He stands at 32 feet tall and weighs 4.3 metric tons. His shoulders are very wide compared to the lower part of his body. He has blue optics for eyes and a retractable silver mouth guard and face. When it battle, the mouth guard covers the lower part of his face. When not in battle, one can see Optimus' mouth. He does not have a nose but his face does have facial expressions. His Autobot emblem is proudly displayed in a darker, glowing red on his left bicep. He is shorter then his main enemy, Megatron, but stockier then him as well.

Optimus Prime is the wielder of the Martix of Leadership. His chest, which appears to be two truck windows, will open up and that is where he houses the Matrix. It is right next to his spark. Optimus Prime is the latest in the long line of Primes and is still unlocking his optional with it.

-Alternate Mode:

Image

Optimus' car mode on Earth is modeled after a 1970s red Freightliner FL86 cab-over-engine triple axle semi trailer truck. A large semi in size, his cab is primarily red with twin smoke stacks. Optimus' legs form the truck bed and the trailer. On his trailer, is where his red Autobot emblem is displayed. His trailer is silver with blue stripes across. In this mode, he has ten large, black wheels with silver hub caps.

Personality: Optimus Prime is very loyal to his comrades. Although he is the leader of the Autobots, he isn't full of himself. He would never ask anything from his soldiers, that he would not do himself. In fact, he is often the first one to charge into battle and he would give his own life if it meant saving someone else's. Sometimes he wonders why the Matrix of Leadership chose him, he still sees himself as a simple soldier who used to be a historian in the Databanks. He is highly intelligent and compassionate. He has strong morals and believes that freedom is the right of all sentient beings. He rarely kills and does not take killing someone lightly. If there is a possibility someone could change, he is willing to give that one a second chance. A valiant hero, Optimus Prime is the protector of the humans against Megatron and his Decepticons. When driving on the road, Optimus creates a hologram of a middle age man who is a truck driver so humans do not realize he is actually a robot in disguise.

Job Title: Leader of the Autobots

Weapons: Optimus' primary weapon is a black ion blaster. It is a large gun, half the size of Optimus' arm, that uses Energon for bullets. The bullets that it shoots out are the same blue as Optimus' optics. When not in use, it can be transformed and compaced so that Optimus can keep the blaster on his hip.

Optimus can create a gold Energon ax. It is a double bladed ax, both the blades and the handle itself are a golden color. Because of the moment of Energon he uses to create and weild the weapon, Optimus does not use it often. However, when he encounters Megatron, he is more likely to wield the weapon.

History: Optimus Prime is the latest in a long line of Primes, the leaders of Cybertron. Optimus Prime was known as Orion Pax, before the Matrix of Leadership chose him to become the next Prime. Orion Pax was a historian and worked in the Databanks of Cybertron. He never saw himself as a warrior, let alone a leader. Working in the Databanks was lonely work. Through his work, he learned much about Cybertron's past. Especially when the Cybertronians were slaves to the cruel Quintessons. Alpha Trion, the first Prime, defeated their slave masters and freed Cybertron from their rule. Some things had never changed in Cybertron, like the caste system and the coliseum, though. Both were outdated systems and as Orion Pax learned more about them, the more he disliked the old ways. Cybertron needed to change. The citizens should be judged on their characters and not be told from the moment their sparks awakened what their roles in life would be.

Orion Pax always believed that peace could be found from diplomacy, not violence. He spent many cycles learning about the old systems and coming up with ideas that could make Cybertron a better world for all its citizens. He went to Iacon and planned to talk to Sentinel Prime, the latest Prime, himself. Hoping to have a serious and intelligent talk with him about it all. During this time, that the civil war broke out in the city states.

A traitor, named Sunfire, attempted to murder Sentinel Prime. She would have gotten away with it, if Orion Pax had not been there. He had just been introduced to the Prime and was beginning to talk to him, when Sunfire sneaked into his palace. Using a strength he did not know he possessed, Orion Pax was able to overpower Sunfire and killed her to save Cybertron's leader. Sunfire was the first being Orion Pax had ever killed and it shook him a little. Killing has never come easily to him since and he tried to kill only as a last result.

Thankful for saving his life, Sentinel Prime promised to talk to Orion Pax about the changes he wanted to discuss to their planet after the civil war was over. Saving the Prime's life, made him an immediate ally to Sentinel. Sentinel had summoned Megatron, a great fighter from the coliseum, to come and help win bring peace back to Cybertron. Orion Pax had great potential as a warrior but had never been trained. Sentinel Prime ordered Megatron to train him.

Orion Pax became good friends with Megatron during that time. He looked to Megatron as a mentor and admired him for his strength and how he raised himself from the ranks of a miner to being personally selected by Sentinel Prime to help stop the civil war. Both agreed that Cyberton needed to change from the old ways, but disagreed how it should happen. Orion Pax did not believe that violence was the answer. They formed a brotherly bond from all they experienced together. Although Megatron was far more charismatic then him. Megatron appeared to enjoy being called a hero, while Orion was far more humble about it.

Orion Pax had hoped that after the civil war ended, that change would finally come to Cybertron. Unfortunately, Sentinel Prime appeared to stuck in the old ways. Unable and unwilling to do what was necessary for a better future. Megatron grew restless and Orion Pax was unable to stop him from what came next.

Orion Pax accompanied his closest ally to talk to Sentinel Prime. Orion thought it was to be a peaceful talk but Megatron had other plans. In a vivacious fight, Megatron killed Sentinel Prime. When Sentinel Prime died, the Matrix of Leadership chose Orion Pax to the next Prime, instead of Megatron. Renaming him Optimus Prime. He was actually shocked at the decision, for he only viewed himself as a simple soldier, not worthy of it. He actually believed that Megatron, until that fight, would have made a good Prime.

As the new leader of Cybertron, Optimus Prime had no choice but to immediately arrest Megatron for killing Sentinel. It pained him to do so, for he did love Megatron as a brother. But Megatron was traitor and had to be punished. The Cybertronians accepted Optimus as their new Prime, even if Optimus felt unworthy at times of the title. He tried to control what happened in the prison but Megatron and his newly branded Decepticons were smart and broke free. Creating war and chaos in their wake. Many lives were lost as this civil war was even more terrible then the first one Optimus had served in.

The Matrix knew what it was doing when it chose Cybertron's next Prime, and in the battles that followed Sentinel's death, Optimus proved to be a worthy leader to his Autobots. Optimus Prime's goal was to free Cybertron of Megatron and his tyranny. He was willing to give his own life to prevent Megatron from killing more innocents.

Unfortunately, there was a high cost for the war. The Autobots and Decepticons depleted Cybertron of its Energon and in turn, killed their own world. Knowing that Megatron and his minions would seek out other worlds to destroy, Optimus and his Autobots were determined to stop them. Megatron got wind of the plan and escaped the dying Cybertron before Optimus Prime could prevent it. The Autobots searched the stars for the Megatron and his army and finally found that they had decided to colonize a world called Earth.

Optimus Prime had hoped they would arrive in time to stop Megatron from enslaving the planet's native species and prevent the Decepticons from drilling so much Energon from Earth that it would be doomed to Cybertron's fate. They were too late. By the time the Autobots arrived on Earth, Megatron had already established himself there. Working with the American military, Optimus Prime and the Autobots are trying to free Earth from the Decepticons.

Name: Weirdwolf

Faction: Decepticon

Gender: Male

Appearance

-Robot Mode:
While he might have been mocked for his unusual manner of speaking, there was nothing at all funny about Weirdwolf's imposing appearance. He has a primary gold, silver and blue color pattern that plays out across a blocky yet streamlined exterior with multiple point of articulation in his joints. A variety of facial features including eyes, a nose and a mouth look to be chiseled into an almost-stone cut two-toned face that keeps up the theme of a combination of mechanical and organic forms.

With hands that are colored an alternate gunmetal gray color, they almost seem to bleed perfectly into the shape of the weapons that he wields. Nevertheless, his outlines are not all clean and modern. He features a prominent band of red painted metal across his knee joints that give a sort of neon appearance that is, admittedly, quite a bit shocking by comparison.

It's a sort of technological disco style that seems to clash with the otherwise shockingly futuristic appearance that it would have seemed like Weirdwolf had wished to cultivate. This is all the more shocking considering the fact that his gun and knife were fearsome and clearly crafted to elicit an emotional response from anyone whom he might see fit to do battle with.

Image

-Alternate Mode: Unlike many other Transformers, Weirdwolf becomes precisely what his name suggests as he turns into a mechanical wolf. His body drops down on all fours and his hands and then feet thus turn into claws placed upon electronic paws. His body maintains a sleek yellow and blue appearance, though his lupine head has a splotch of white on it that certainly looks as though it could call to mind the idea of fur.

Naturally he doesn't have any fur at all, and this is merely the influence of a prominently designed paint scheme. That being said, he certainly acts like a wolf in this mode and he certainly shows the mannerisms that would suggest it, albeit he acts with a mechanized flourish that betrays the fact that he's not organic.

While many transformers might very well think of themselves primarily as robots and consider their alternate mode to be a secondary form, Weirwolf is the exact opposite. If it were up to him, then he would just remain in his wolf state at all times.

Actually, there are plenty of other transformers as well as members of other species that wouldn't mind if he stayed in this form. Weirdwolf has an unusual way of speaking that can get very bothersome really quickly. There are plenty who would prefer it if he were just to keep his yap shut after all. In this form that would be a real possibility, which is precisely why there are those clamoring for him to stay shut up in it.

Image

Personality: It would be very easy to say that his name suits him entirely too well. He is a wolf, but he is also incredibly weird. Obviously his favorite hobby is talking to himself without any end, and it makes it all the worse that he doesn't do talking very well. Generally he talks in a strange backward syntax that makes him difficult to understand.

Despite this, he enjoys talking to himself a whole lot, and has a tendency to do it far too much even if he is the only one who can understand himself or even if he's the only one who is actually bothering to listen to anything that he's saying. At first most people and even the other Decepticons considered this personality trait to be kind of cute. It was a goofy quirk that was easy to make fun of, and he didn't seem to laughing with everyone else even when they had a tendency to laugh at him.

Eventually, though, everyone also has a tendency to realize that he's completely off his nut and they simply avoid talking to him. He's far too weird for normal conversation, and he has a tendency to get himself into bad situations. As a result, the game plan when working with him is usually to stay away and let him get to work.

Fortunately he has a wild and fierce fighting ability that comes with his wolfish exterior that matches his name. That makes him a valuable ally or perhaps a deadly enemy in spite of any personality quirks that make him difficult to put up with.

Job Title: Binary Nebulan Headmaster Bondmate

Weapons: In his alternate form, his weapons are his claws and fangs, which are amplified many times over those of an actual organic wolf. With the benefit of electromechanical technology he can use an incredible amount of force to crush things with these powerful built-in weapons systems. This is yet another one of the reasons that he actually prefers to remain in this state if at all possible.

The next best thing to him would have to be his blade, which is a sturdy sword weapon that he holds in one hand, with a projectile gun to provide backup in the other. This combination has proven to be pretty tough in the past, since it allows him to have both a ranged and a mêlée attack at the same time.

Regardless, he has also become proficient with his armored robotic fists while in this mode as well, which has once more helped to assuage others from fighting alongside of him. Naturally there are those who would rather avoid him because of the fact that he has his peculiarities, but fortunately he has the fighting skills to back it all up.

History: Originally Weirdwolf followed Scorponok, who had an incredible mind coupled with an equally impressive amount of savagery and fighting skill. He used unusual strategies coupled with incredible force. The fact that he was something of an animal as well, with an electro-stinger in his tail, attracted the canine Weirdwolf to join his armed service. At one point he was a contender for leadership of the Decepticons, but that was a long time ago.

Scorponok's army came to Weirdwolf, who followed Fortress Maximus and the rest of his Autobots from Cybertron in order to travel to the peaceful planet known as Nebulos. There the Decepticons were defeated rather easily by the Autobots, who had been upgraded with Headmaster technology, and as a result Weirdwolf elected to undergo the process himself.

It was at this time that he became binary bonded to a professional wrestler who had become a nightclub owner on that aforementioned planet. As a brutal individual who appreciated his wrestling abilities more than tactics, he had a tendency to fight without any form of finesse or anything else of the sort.

More importantly, he found himself at odds with the fact that Weirdwolf had his love of poetry. They did find that they had one thing in common, though, and that was a love of beating things up.

Headmasters make up a class of a sort of symbiotic type of Transformer life form, where a smaller organic being can transform into the head of a much larger robot. This bonding is precisely what happened to Weirdwolf, and he underwent the terrifying process in the hopes that it would give him a bit more of an edge against the hated Autobots.

Since that time, he has continued to give chase and done his best to follow and exterminate the hated Autobots. Perhaps due to his wolf mentality, and the fact that he is something of a broken creature that comes from the fusion of two different organisms, his personality has more or less become somewhat twisted as a result.

To that end, he actually believes everything that Megatron says at least in political terms. While he doesn't kill indiscriminately either, he would gladly eliminate anyone who stood in the way of his leader. He carries some of the same obsessive traits, though he honestly secretly hates the fact that Megatron banned anyone else from killing Optimus Prime. Predictably, Weirdwolf wouldn't mind if he were to be the one to deliver the killing blow to the person that he had found annoying after all this time. Unlike Megatron, though, he doesn't at all mind any of the violent aspects of what they're doing, and in fact he revels in them.

By this point, he really does still use Headmaster as a job title, but that's all it really means. He's more or less become bonded out of two organisms, and for all intents and purposes he really is just a regular transformer robot that might have some organic parts living on inside of him. The fact that he really is made up of two minds, though, might help to explain all of the strange things about his personality. It would suggest that this is the remnant of two different thought processes that had merged together and therefore become one single individual with whispers of both of them fighting. Considering to that they had differences in personality might help students of history to better understand what goes on in that twisted mind of his.

While he was originally loyal to Scorponok, he is today unwavering in his support for Megatron. He appreciates the fact that Megatron tends to manage things better than his predecessor if nothing else, and it's doubtful that if there were ever a management split that he'd go back to his old allegiance anyway.

Name: Soundwave
Faction: Decepticon
Gender: Male

Appearance:
-Robot Mode:

Image

Soundwave is shorter then Megatron but still an large robot. Especially when compared to the humans. He stands at 35 feet tall. His primary colors are black and purple. He has a bulky body, that is primary black and he has purple accents on his body. He has red optics and almost always has his mouth covered, even when not in battle, with a black mouth guard. His Decepticon emblem is purple and rests on his chest, which is also purple. On his right shoulder he has a black shoulder sonic cannon always mounted.

-Alternate Modes: Soundwave has two alternate modes.

Image

The first and his primary mode is to be a black satellite dish. His primary function is to be a spy and this allows him to spy on Megatron's enemies in plain sight. This mode makes him look so ordinary, that no one thinks twice about him being perched up on a building, hearing all their secret conversations and transmitting them back to his leader.

Image

Soundwave's other mode is to be a sleek black stealth bomber. He is modeled after the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk. All black and sleek, this mode has a twin engine inside. Soundwave purposely modeled himself after the United States Air Force's bomber. Instead, of Air Force emblems, his emblems are the Decepticon symbols. He has twin, retractable guns that appear, if needed, to defend himself. Soundwave creates a hologram of a fighter pilot when in flight.

Soundwave's Minicons: Something that make Soundwave very unique to other Cybertronians is that he has an army of five Minicons that serve him. All five are more loyal to him then Megatron. Viewing Soundwave as their true master and carry out Megatron's will because Soundwave commands it. They help Soundwave in his spy missions. None have alternate modes that make them tanks or planes. Instead, when they transform, they become video tapes. Very ordinary and never raising suspicions to the unlikely person who puts on of them into the office to record information. Not realizing that the Minicons are downloading secrets to return to Megatron, instead. All have golden optics, a sign they are Minicons.

Image

Rumble and Frenzy are twin robots, about ten feet tall height. Very short by Cybertronian standards, they spent more of their lives being looked down upon. Many Cybertronians found the short little robots to be rather annoying. Soundwave was the first one to give them a purpose and they are deeply loyal to him. Being angry at anyone who talks bad about their master. Rumble is green with purple accents. His primary weapon are the large pulveriser guns that are on each of his arms. Allowing him to create small earthquakes. Frenzy is red with accents of black. His primary weapon is an Energon gun.

Image

Laserbeak is a Minicon who appears to be a metallic hawk. Slightly larger then an Earth hawk, Laserbeak flies unnoticed most of the time. Which is how he prefers it. He does not speak, but instead, squawks, much like a hawk. Soundwave is able to understand him completely and Laserbeak can often be found perched on his shoulder like a pet bird. His primary colors are silver and red, with purple accents. His body is silver and what would be his wing tips appear red. He has a small Energon gun to protect himself as needed perched on his back.

Image

Ravage is a robotic panther. Like Laserbeak, he does not speak. He appears to be Soundwave's pet cat and it about the size of an Earth tiger. His primary colors are a dark silver with purple accents. Armed with ferocious teeth and claws, he would gladly attempt to take down an Autobot three times his size. He has retractable silver guns mounted to his hips. He prefers to be out a night and his actions sometimes make him appear very cat like. He is also loyal and when not carrying out an order, he is at Soundwave's side.

Image

Ratbat, is a small, primarily purple bat. There is gold at the tips of his wings Like the other two animal Mincons, Ratbat does not speak. He screeches to communicate with Soundwave. He flies unnoticed in most places, since he is just a little larger then an Earth bat, most people are afraid of him just because he appears to be a bat. He is often seen flying around Soundwave. He has a small silver gun on top of his back.

Personality: Soundwave is known for seeming void of a personality. Of all the Cybertronians, Soundwave is the one that sounds truly robotic. His vocal cords were damaged years ago. When repaired, Soundwave voice was forever changed. His voice is monotone and Soundwave talks in a slow, methodical way. He is highly observant, often quiet, but always paying attention. When he speaks, others pay attention. Soundwave is deeply loyal to Megatron. Willing to do anything he commands, with no questions asked. He seems to lack an empathy and compassion. He can kill without any hesitation. He seems to only care about carrying out the Decepticon creed. He is also highly intelligent and great at collecting information. Utilizing his loyal Minicons to carry out his missions.

Job Title: Communications Officer and Decepticon Spy

Weapons: Soundwave's primary weapon is a sonic cannon that is always mounted to his right shoulder. A long black weapon, it manipulates sound waves in the atmosphere to create purple Energon bullets. Blasting away his enemies and also damaging their hearing at the same time.

His other weapon is a blaster gun. Not as powerful as his sonic cannon, it is still effective in close combat. It uses less Energon then his other weapon. Although Soundwave prefers covert ops more then direct combat.

History: Until the day he met Megatron, Soundwave seemed doomed to be a laborer. A simple miner, Soundwave rarely talked but always observed what was going on around him. One thing was for sure, he hated his life. He knew he was meant for more then to this but could not stand up on his own. A problem with the miners was that many hated their position in Cybertron but few were brave enough to do anything about it. One could not change the system.

Soundwave was a hard worker, keeping to himself. Doing what he was told, but hating every minute of it. Then he met him...Megatron. Another miner, but different then the rest. Soundwave observed him for many cycles. Megatron hated his spot in life too but wasn't like the others. He wasn't as afraid and Soundwave thought that perhaps this could be the one that would being the much needed change to Cyberton. He knew of Megatron taking and stowing away Energon but never reported it. He wasn't sure what Megatron's plan was for the Energon, all Soundwave knew was that he wanted to see what it was and he was going to stop him.

Because Soundwave rarely created waves and did what was asked without question, he was given a small promotion in the miners. He was given a small group of other miners to command. They were five Minicons. Two were small robots named Frenzy and Rumble. The other were three animal like creatures, Laserbeak, Ravage, and Ratbat. The five quickly grew to admire Soundwave and Soundwave enjoyed it. It was nice in his unfulfilled life to have the five little Minicons viewing him as their master. For once he was respected, even if Minicons were not viewed as highly important in Cybertronian society.

Soundwave and his new little army were in charge of creating a new tunnel, when there was a mishap and a cave in. Soundwave, being in charge, was immediately put at fault. He would have been killed by the guard, if Megatron had stepped in and stopped it. From that day on, Soundwave swore to himself that he would give Megatron his unwavering loyalty. Anything Megatron asked of him, he would do. No questions asked.

The guard's actions crushed Soundwave's vocal cords. They had to be repaired and his voice was never the same. He rarely talked to begin with. The most anyone heard him talk was to his Minicons, but now his voice truly was robotic. Soundwave recovered from his injuries and was told by Rumble and Frenzy what had happened to the guard and Megatron. He felt nothing learning the the guard who attacked him died at Megatron's hands. His only regret was that he could not thank Megatron personally. Megatron was sent off to the coliseum and Soundwave remained with his Minicons in the mines.

When the civil war began between the city-states, Sentinel Prime ordered the extra mining of Energon. It created even longer hours of hard, back breaking labor. Soundwave grew even more bitter then he already was during this time. Sentinel Prime was profiting off his hard work and Soundwave did not appreciate that. Other miners did not either. If anything, the war made most of them hope Sentinel Prime would be taken out. Losing his power and a new Prime would come forward. Many, including Soundwave, hoped it would be Megatron. He could bring Cybertron to a new golden age, Soundwave thought. That did not happen, though. Sentinel Prime won the war and life would return back to the way it always was, horrible. Soundwave and the other miners became depressed at the idea of spending the rest of their lives as Sentinel's mining slaves.

Then the news came that Megatron had killed Sentinel Prime and the seeds of hope grew. Soundwave, and the like minded miners, rose up and killed as many guards as they could before the Cybertronian Army stopped them. The outbreak in the mines caused Optimus Prime, the new Prime, to immediately arrested them. Sentencing them to life in prison for their heinous attacks. That was exactly what they wanted. In the prison, they met Megatron. Soundwave was not sure if Megatron remembered him, but he had never forgotten the robot that saved his life. Soundwave became the first to swear his loyalty to Megatron. Willing to do whatever Megatron commanded to get the Cybertron that Megatron envisioned.

Soundwave became the first Decepticon and his Minicons immediately swore their loyalty as well. Whatever Soundwave decided, they followed, without question. While not as strong as other Decepticon warriors, what he lacked in strength, Soundwave made up with intelligence and his spying abilities. Gathering intel for Megatron and helping him stop the Autobots at every other turn. Soundwave didn't care how much the new civil war was destroying their planet. He never wanted to be a miner again and what Megatron commanded, must be carried out. Even as they depleted the world of its Energon and Soundwave eventually could not discover any more on Cybertron.

The war had a high cost. With neither side willing to surrender, it became clear that Cybertron was lost. In the final days, Soundwave began to scan planets in deep space to find another one rich with Energon. He told Megatron of Earth and oversaw the creation of the spaceship that would took them to their new planet to conquer.

The humans stood no chance against them. By the time the Autobots arrived, the Decepticons had already created an empire on it. With Soundwave and his Minicons loyally serving Megatron.

Posted what I have so far for Optimus' bio. I'll get to work on Soundwave's soon.

For those playing Cybertronians, please read into what Eggs and I wrote about Megatron and Optimus' backstories to get ideas about what your own characters would have been doing during Sentinel Prime's reign and the rise of the Decepticons.

As well as updates from Jack and Alastar. For both character sheets, I'd prefer much more detail than what's currently there. Y'all can write personalities better than listing off a few words.
