Hmmm, if your character can fit in. I can give an excuse or two to add your character in.

But I must ask you to submit the CS as soon as possible, as we may progress past the time where adding teammates are viable and your character will be forced to be outside the team.

Ah, OK. Well, here's my character:

Name: Gerald Holden

Age: 39

Gender: Male

Cybernetics: Eye implant to improve vision in low-light conditions.

Genetics: None

Psionic: None

Profession: Works for AEGIS as a hitman and bodyguard, but still occasionally operates independently from AEGIS as a bodyguard.

Appearance: Gerald is 5"10 tall. His head is bald and he has a muscular build, broad shoulders, and large hands. He has a wide nose and a strong jawline. His eyes are brown and his beard is always shaved because he can't stand stubble.

Apparel: Casually, Gerald usually wears jeans and a coloured shirt. But when he's at work, he'll wear one of two types of outfits depending on whether or not he's on bodyguard duty. When he's a bodyguard he wears a suit. When he's acting in his capacity as a hitman, he goes for jeans, a black hoodie, and sturdy boots.

He carries any handguns on a belt, any rifles in a case, and any knives in wrist or boot sheaths.

Personality: Gerald can be quite laid back at times and enjoys a good joke, though he's terrible at coming up with his own. He's friendly and willing to make a fool of himself, though he doesn't place much confidence in others. He's adamant about his opinions and beliefs, and if someone tries to contradict him on something he holds dear he can switch from friendly to cold in an instant.

When it comes to his work, he gets straight to the business. If the opportunity comes to make conversation on a job he won't throw it away, and will indeed embrace it, but as soon as that conversation becomes a risk - through the amount of noise being made, the distraction conversation causes, or whatever it may happen to be - his focus turns to the job at hand and only the job at hand. He also makes a very clear distinction between his work life and his personal life: once a job is done he doesn't contact anyone he's met through that job.

Equipment: A sniper rifle, a handgun and a knife.

Bio: Gerald wanted to be a bodyguard since he was twelve, when he started watching a TV show where the central character was one. He proclaimed this to family, who at the time thought he was joking. It was months later, when the current season of the show had finished airing and Gerald was still rambling on about one day being a bodyguard, that his family realised he was serious and tried all they could to dissuade him from this course as they thought it would be too dangerous. Gerald promised his family he wouldn't be a bodyguard, but at the same time he began to search the internet and libraries for information and books about how to use and maintain guns, and when he was fourteen he convinced his mother to let him enrol in martial arts classes.

After he graduated highschool, Gerald got a place at a program for training professional bodyguards - much to his family's disapproval. He began to work as a bodyguard when was twenty-two. About a year afterwards he was recruited by AEGIS where he furthered his training and learned to handle long range firearms, a field which he now specialises in.

No problems, but you may want to add a bit more into bio as it would make him more useful to the team as everyone in the team can use firearms. Perhaps connections within companies or other special areas of expertise. Maybe give have him be good at long range ballistics? Like hitman with skills in sniper rifle use?

That's a good idea, actually. Do you think it would be good if he was recruited by AEGIS after they discovered him through his bodyguard work and then they trained him to use long range guns?

EDIT: I updated the character sheet with above information and altered the profession and equipment to reflect that.

Apparel: Black and blue hoodie w/ black leather studded leather fingerless gloves, blue cargo jeans, red and white sneakers, black and blue cap, silver black and blue backpack.
Personality: Calm and thoughtful, but vigilant and strong-willed. He has no qualms about dealing justice to anyone, regardless of law, politics, or social status. He's also chivalrous towards females and tends to get violent & fierce in a fight. Still, he yearns for a world where he can be truly happy, and that's why he fights, and alongside his childhood friend and hacking partner, Rima, whom he talks about geek stuff with, like video games, anime, and comics.

-Extending stun rod
-Twin yo-yos in inner sides of arms: electro-magnetic energy cable allowing long-distance deployment and entanglement, cyber-mechanical installments capable of bludgeoning and lacerations via moving parts empowered by vibro-electric energy. Modified with the assistance of Rima.
Bio: Vance's father Vincent was investigating the death of a family friend, suspecting AEGIS might've been involved. However, before he could tell anyone his findings, he mysteriously disappeared, leaving his mother Tessa to take care of their only child. Little did Vance know that his father was more than just a whistle-blower. He had been a long-time secret activist in freedom, justice, and protecting the good and innocent. Vance knew that he wouldn't just disappear, and that someone probably got to him. Determined to find out the truth, he went against his better judgement and devoted his education and training to being noticed by the same company that his father was involved in, AEGIS. Even though he graduated with honors, it was his favors earned by others that got him in AEGIS, where he worked hard and fought to be recognized as a valuable and efficient soldier. Eventually, the battlefield took its toll on Vance as his successful efforts to secure a mission completion caused his body to be blasted. For his valorous record, he was given the gift of cybernetics and genetics to repair and replace what had been lost in the blast. Afterward, Vance continued his work for AEGIS, until one day, he saw something that made him question his purpose in AEGIS and his moral compass. He needed to think about what just happened, instead of just focusing on his own goals. It was then he realized he couldn't keep living like this, so the first opportunity he got, he retired from AEGIS.

Now fully grown, Vance lays low in the shadowy parts of the city, all while doing his own vigilante work with the help of Rima, his childhood friend and hacking partner, who gave him a few things to help him along the way and keep in contact. He intends to get to the bottom of the reasons for the attacks on his family and give those responsible, swift, harsh, violent, and painful justice.

@Shoy, accepted. I think your character can still walk into the room, but he'd probably be late. SHould we assume he has already accepted the contract prior and was just coming down to see the potential teammates?
