Wildwood Shire is a port city in the kingdom of Atria. King Atrius ruled with firm hand. The kings palace was in the port city of Seville. The kingdom lay in Northeast coast to the barren lands of the desert lands to the west. Beyond lay the lands fabled belonged to dragons. Centuries ago Wildwood was the heart of dragon's world. Wars with Kits forced them into hiding. Only the red dragons were seen with Orc wizard riding their backs. To the south were tropical lands belonging to the evil sorcer Lord Draco.
Currently he was allied with the Orcs to the waste lands of the south west. The Orcs were constantly causing wars in Atria.
The mage guild had a school in Wildwood and a college in Seville. The mage ranks were as follows:
Mage was achieved after 12 years of schooling
Master Mage was achieved after 4 years of college
Grand Master Mage was achieved after 20 to 30 years

They meet at the Mage Guild School in wildwood. They were in potions class. They had to kill a giant hornet to use its parts to make invisibility potion. The boys used swords to kill the beast. Only males can carry swords openly. Females can carry concealed weapons.
