It was around midday. So far it seemed as if the weather would be beautiful, as when a teen woke up from her slumber, when she gazed out the inn's window she was met with a beautiful sky which was a glowing turquoise. A few clouds dotted here and there, but didn't threaten a downpour of rain. So, jumping out of her bed, she threw on clothes and went outside, ready to start work.
"Come on, come all! An amazing display of how I can bend mother nature in my own hands! Only pay if you are completely amazed!" She shouted this, a bright smile on her face. Her chestnut hair was flying as she jumped back and forth, trying to call an audience. Wearing a faded pair of tight red trousers, a white shirt that had frills around the cuffs and neckline, she finished the outfit off with a smart black bowler hat which was placed on her head. Her usual outfit whenever she worked.
Once a good crowd circled around her, wondering what her outburst was about, she turned her emerald irises towards a young boy and girl whom were holding the hands of their mother. They looked at her with wide innocent eyes, wondering what she was going to do. With a smile, she kneeled down towards them. Being quite shy, they cowered into their mother's shaul, to which many of the audience laughed. Holding out her hand, whispering for them to look at it, she waved her fingers and with a burst a small dragon made of flames appeared. Awed by this, they both gasped and looked forward. Knowing that she had caught the attention of most now, she laughed and jumped backwards, and with a huge intake of air, blew on the dragon. The response? The dragon yelped and then suddenly grew into a very large dragon, which jumped into the air and flew in circles above the audience. Many cheered while they looked up at the amazing spectacle. Already coins were going into her little box which said 'Pay here'. They were paying, and the show was only beginning. With another swift move of her hands, a poof of smoke appeared and within moments a dragon made of water roared out and with two beats of its wings flew up to the fire one. An epic battle began to insue, with the water becoming victorious and with a roar suddenly disappeared back into plain old water, which fell down onto the audience. Cynn laughed as she saw the reactions of some, and then with two hands in the air, asked aloud.
"So, who wants to see more?" Yells and cheers insued after that.
A few hours of performing later, once she was finished she waved off some of the children who waved goodbye towards her, she took off her hat and smiled up into the sky. A nice crowd, one of her best. Bending down, collecting her earning, she then walked towards the local tavern. Her stomach was now growling with hunger, and from performing for so long, her body ached as well. She needed to rest and relax for the rest of the day.
In the tavern, which was filled with a good atmosphere, Cynn settled down on one of the empty tables, a sigh of relief breaking through her lips. Earning a lot of money, she was in a good mood. Looking around the tavern, she saw many people. Families, drinking buddies, travelers such as herself and many more. The tavern was cosy, with a log fire down at the back causing a warm feeling in the area, which was nice even though it was rather warm outside. Soon, a young waitress came up and asked for her order, a bright friendly smile on her face. Returning the smile, Cynn said, gazing down at the menu which was laid across the wooden table.
"Um, I'll have the special today with a fresh glass of wine please." Scribbling it down on her notepad, the waitress bounced away to the cook. Now, it was a matter of waiting. Leaning back on the couch which accompanied the table, she sighed deeply, closing her eyes. It had been a while since she had relaxed like this.
