"Uuuugh... What just happened? Where are we?" JD muttered, noticing his voice had once again decided to change with his appearance. He raised a hand to his face and smirked as he made a fist. "Oh... this is going to be fun!" He inspected his surroundings and noticed that the several others were with him. Then he saw a girl sit up and ask, "Let me guess, time travel? I would say it's impossible, but considering I recognize the current surroundings as where we were ambushed before we were... us??? Ugh... where's the lab coat guy?"

Professor Paradox was standing a ways away, and smiled. "Right here young miss. Now then, you should get a move on. Wouldn't want a paradox to occur, now would we?" and with that he vanished.

JD stood up and went around shaking everyone until they woke up. "Come on, come on, come on! We cannot be here when we get here... god that's confusing... anybody know where we can go from here?"

Hellmaster phibrizzo was expecting a childlike hand to rub a childlike nose. his muscular arm surprised him, but the fact that his face was basically a skull was enough to make him near speechless as JD got everyone else up. He finally vocalized his opinion when he found his voice again. "How do we know we're even going to go in the right direction?" Death asked as he stood up. "it's been so long since we were here, so I don't remember exactly where to go..."

JD smirked. "Which one of you is Doce? I'll bet they could tell us an approximate direction to the fortress where we kick Overseer ass!"

"Idiot! we can't just barge into the fortress! what if we find the resistance again before the past us...ses do and ask them to help?" The girl asked him. She then shifted her mass to appear to still be Rukia and smirked as JD chuckled. "Somehow you being doppelganger doesn't surprise me." he then walked over to the other guy with white hair and asked, "So... you the guy we answered the door for earlier? Welcome to hell."

"JD! are you serious?" Rukia asked.

"Yeah. why?" he answered without looking at her.

"You could at least TRY to be civil!" she pouted.

"Must be Blade messing with my head... he seems to be able to convey at least emotions to me since I'm using his body... reminds me of how that Alex guy and Grievous impersonator were always changing their moods..."

The two Doce's sat up at about the same moment, woken up by JD's yelling, and instinctively picked each other out in the crowd.

"Who am I right now?" Doce murmured, looking at her delicate, white hands. Her skin was... perfect everywhere she examined it. When she noticed the black and white feathered dress she was wearing, she got a clue. Her eyes got wide and she turned to her clone excitedly. "Am I Eggy?!" she demanded.

Doce2 nodded, looking a bit envious. "Who am I, though? Do you recognize me?"

Doce blinked and searched her memory. I've never seen you before. You look like an average Chinese girl.

"That's not helpful." Suddenly, the look on Doce2's face changed.

"... Are you okay?" Doce asked after a moment.

"Ah, yeah. I just saw one of this body's memories. It's Guyiding Tri-Rain."

"Oh. So that's how she looks. The LN never really described her."

JD's voice drifted over then, calling their name.

"Here," they said together. "The fortress is that way. The nearest town is that way, and the secret resistance base is waaaaay that way." They deviated a bit near the end, but mostly spoke in unison.

Doce shuddered and clung to Doce2. "I hate endless plains like this. How do I use heavenly energy to fly?"

"Good question," Doce2 muttered. Her body operated under the same principle. However, it only took Doce2 a moment to figure it out, while Doce was still stuck on the ground.

"Hooooooow?!?"

"Doesn't your body feel light? It really isn't difficult if you feel it out for a moment."

Doce took advantage of Eggy's matchlessly beautiful face to pout. "It doesn't!" Suddenly, she looked anxious. "Does that mean... I'm not even at the 5th level of profound strength yet?! ****!"

"Looks like Eggy's powers were stripped again. You'd be too strong otherwise... I'll carry you for now. Anyway, that's the ISSTH power standard. Eggy is from MGA."

Doce pouted and climbed onto Rain's back. "Umu," she muttered pitifully. "Well, either way, I need more source energy to get stronger. Don't fly strangely. I'll get motion sick."

"Please don't."

They followed the group to escape the danger of a paradox.

Your result for The Fantasy RPG Class Test...

The Witch Hunter
15% Strength, 67% Bloodlust, 10% Intelligence, 37% Spirit, 22% Vitality and 13% Agility!

Savage and deadly, the Witch Hunters use their powerful dark magic to defeat their opponents. Masters of killing and torture, the Witch Hunters will seek out other powerful magic users to slay so that they can capture their souls and summon them in battle. These dark undead magicians will blindly serve them and obey their every command! Witch Hunters have also mastered both light and dark magic, which they can use to confuse and mentally torture their foes. Witch Hunters that have strayed to the side of light may be less proficient with their dark magic; however, they can use their mastery over light to heal and create powerful illusions. In fact, these warriors can use their light in ways that no other spellcaster class can. By combining their light with dark magic, they can trap their foes in worlds of illusion where they can torment and torture their foes. Oftentimes, a few moments within the illusion can seem like an eternity, and once an opponent manages to escape from the illusion they are broken and empty shells of their former selves. Controlling enemies and forcing them to do their bidding is no trouble for Witch Hunters.

Congratulations on reaching this high class!

You know what's worse than being a third wheel? Being stuffed in an apartment so small, you even get woken up by their exaggerated giggles. What the hell, man, this was so not what Ella signed up for. She needed a break. Now. So with a quick goodbye, she dawned her favorite boots, splashed some water on her wild curls, and headed out the door with her satchel in hand.

Ipod, Kindle, wallet, watch. Check, check, check, check. She didn't know where she was going, but that was half the fun of a new city anyway. When she agreed to take her friend with her on her next backpacking trip, they had specify vetoed out visiting any online friends they may hold feelings for. It made things complicated, they weren't going to do that to each other. When they flew into Norway, Martha had assured her Lee was "just a friend". Martha was a bloody lier.

The train doors opened and closed as it moved towards the heart of the city. Ella breathe in and out, trying to put aside her rolling emotions. It was a tactic that usually worked, but three weeks of being ignored and finding them cuddling on the couch designated as your bed was apparently her limit. ****ing a, man.

She slipped off the train at National Theater, the slight heels of her boots clacking in a way that made her smile as she weaved through the crowd. Her heart stuttered, everything went back.

Ella woke up on the ground, surrounded by strangers that seemed to know each other well enough. Most were talking amongst themselves, their faces furrowed in various forms of shock, confusion, or excitement. Oh God, had she fainted again? She squeezed her eyes close, trying to straighten her head. Things felt off. Like the way her eyelids squeezed and the place of her nose as she crinkled it. She chalked that off to disorientation, but where was the tell-tale headache that usually accompanied one of her episodes? And her heart wasn't off-beat. In fact, she felt fantastic, like someone had shot pure energy through her entire body and healed everything, -everything-.

She opened her eyes and gasped. She could see everything with incredible detail-- the fibers of the stranger's clothing, each individual hair on their heads. And how she most certainly wasn't in the train station anymore. She hastily pushed herself up, but she wasn't familiar with this body. Her new elven strength sent her flying a foot up and back, onto her ass. She screamed in shock, it was a girlish thing she was always embarrassed about doing, but she couldn't help it. She yelped, and the melodic pitch of this body's voice resonated through the air.

The scream faded out. She sat open-mouthed on the ground, her brain slowly comprehending that sound came from her. She looked down. She blinked. Her instincts kicked in, pushing aside her messy confusion until she was in a safe place, and she could address it.

"What the hell is going on?" She tried to sound strong, intimidating. If she was going to get out of this mess, she'd need to be, right? Her voice wobbled a little.

SOF was entirely dumbfounded by what just happened. His head ached as he blinked away his grogginess. "What the hell...?" He groaned as he rubbed his temples. Everything felt artificial to him, and his first instinct told his body to loosen up. Sinon looked at him like he was a creep as he just immediately started bouncing on the balls of his feet and as he swung his arms around him. "Good to know that it all feels real at least... Oh sorry Sinon... I didn't ask yet but are you okay?"

Sinon only gave a nod as she made herself seem small. SOF was a bit surprised to see her kind of use him as a human shield. He smiled at her shyness.

Then he was addressed by JD, SOF's face contorted as he knew his appearance from somewhere, weirdly he was also intimidated. JD's words however were far more comical than anything, and any fear that SOF had melted away with a friendly chuckle "Trust me, this is far from hell."
He then smiled at Rukia "He seems to be quite the handful."

When JD talked about Blade messing with his emotions, SOF Suddenly realized that he didn't really feel himself. He ran his fingers through his hair and a strand remained in his hand. "Why is it white?" He mumbled before turning to Sinon "Uh did I...?"

She shook her head "You're still you, I think, at least the feeling you give off hasn't changed... You did change somewhat as we fell here kind of like when i log into Alfheim."

"Explains the artificialness." That left him to the question of who he was and instinctually he checked for the char he would have loved most to be "I am the bone of my sword." He felt magic swirl around him and then the weight of two distinctive daggers in his hands. He smiled at Sinon and then Turned back to JD "SOF! I would shake your hand but as you said we are in a hurry to leave.

At this point, one would have gotten used to constact shifting through different realities but Garsot was finding it to be a bit overwhelming. He knew that his life is now forever changed from everything he has experienced with this group, all that he had ever known to be real now seemed like an illusion to him. This brought him into a state of both excitement and anxiety but he knew it would pass, he can adjust pretty well, he discovered. Pushing himself off the ground, he noticed that the others had yet again changed appearences and just as before they were all too easily comfortable with the situation.

"You seem to be able to accept all of this with relative ease. Almost as if you have it pre-programmed into your minds that you are meant for this. I admit I am a bit envious of such attitudes as I, myself, feel confused and a bit out of place." He looked over his hands, turning them back and forth, and had an idea of whose body he had taken over. One thing had not changed in him, his lust for strength and power, and this was certainly the body that gave him just those things. "However, I will do what I must to help bring an end to whatever disaster may come."

He wondered what would happen once all of this was over. Would he be returned to his own body? Would that mean he would possess no more power than what his original human form gave him? Though he did enjoy his own body, he could not help but think about how he would desperately miss having the abilities that he was learning to use over the course of this whole journey. Though, he had the slightest hope that there would be a way to obtain such powers after knowing that they do exist in alternate realities that are accessible, as he has discovered. This just means that once everything goes back to normal, he will have the proper motivation to seek out such power.

After Doce announced herself, as well as the other Doce, Garsot was curious as to who the other two were. Both of them seemed to be just as lost as himself, meaning they were likely new to this, neither one having the body of anyone he recognized but he knew an elf when he saw one. The curiosity would have to hold for now as the immediate danger of creating a paradox needed to be relieved, so he quickly followed suit and went the direction that JD and the others headed.

"Newbies huh?" JD said to both EllaRose and SOF as the elf girl shouted her question. "Well to not over complicate things, fiction is apparently a separate reality from our world, and you are now in that reality."

They had been walking for quite some time before JD realized something. He had been subconsciously searching for the resistance, but it wasn't like they were going to reveal themselves without a reason to do so...

"Crap. Why didn't I think of this before?" JD said, signaling everyone to stop. "We can't just expect them to show themselves. In fact odds are they are purposefully observing us right now while keeping hidden." he said.

A gun loading a ways off in a thicket was his answer. ""DUCK!" JD shouted as a large energy canon fired in his direction. It turned out to be a warning shot and hit at their feet.

"HALT!" a decidedly female voice shouted. JD smirked, recognizing Samus Aran coming out of hiding. "How do you know so much about us?"

"Good to see you too. Are you always this uptight about new people who look for you?" JD smirked. Samus wasn't amused.

Rukia took a different approach and morphed her body to resemble Eve's true form. "We aren't here to fight, we just wanted to find you and the rest of the resistance."

Death was smirking behind his mask. If only she knew she was looking at the same group that she would later be escorting to the base... he chuckled. "Not to sound rude, but we do have a time limit here..." his smirk widened at Samus' puzzled expression. She sighed. "Follow me. Try anything and I will not hesitate to call in reinforcements even at the cost of my life."

"Seriously, relax. We are NOT the enemy here! if we were I assure you we wouldn't have known you were hiding in the trees over there." Eve/Rukia smiled as friendly as she could given the odd circumstances.

Samus just huffed and turned to lead them in the right direction.

~Deja vu!~ JD inwardly smirked, thinking that this was almost the same as when they were here the first time.

It was remarkable how quickly they unearthed the resistance group. It felt to Doce as if they blinked and were suddenly in a totally different situation. However, looking at the back of Samus reminded her of something.

"Hey," she whispered to Rain, who she was still using as a mount, "do you remember?"

"Remember what...?" Doce2 trailed off before her eyes also locked onto Samus's back. "Oh..."

I hated being part of the resistance group! they recalled.

Last time I was a General, Doce fretted, But I got that position after a trial by fire. I'm too weak right now! I can't even fly yet! As her thoughts traveled this far, Doce started twisting and fidgeting on Rain's back. Muu! This is a virtual reality world! I should be off grinding mobs to gain strength--why am I following these guys to an advanced stage so fast? I didn't stay in the resistance long enough last time. Do they have training facilities? What do I do if they make me a ****ing foot soldier?! Aaarg!

"Relax a bit," Doce2 transmitted to Eggy's mind. "Judging from their standards last time, I should be able to obtain a rank of General. Then I'll request you to be in my division. The resistance must have a system to improve their troops' strength. With Eggy's power, you'll get strong quickly."

Doce let out a long sigh after receiving the transmission. "Alright, fine."

She started to think that an entry trial might be a good idea. She had no idea where here fighting strength was at at this point. Testing it in an environment where her survival was guaranteed wasn't such a bad idea.

"Hey, we're going to introduce ourself later after the other timeline catches up. So, on our end, we should probably use our bodies' names. There can't be three Doce's--even if there are."

"Good point. Then for the time being, I'm Rain and you're Eggy."

They continued to dutifully follow the group.

There was nothing he could do about it. Once again, his girlfriend had managed to get the upper hand. It wasn't, exactly, that he deserved it. But, then, sometimes women could be such unbearable assholes.

Saying that aloud was a bad idea, turns out.

***

"Ow! What the **** was....that.....about..."

Ok. I know she didn't hit me that hard. The thought circled inside his head like a shark in a pool full of surfers. It wasn't very welcome, but then again, neither was what he was seeing. For a moment, he lay there, wondering if she had done some real damage this time, like spring a gear loose in his head. When he shut his eyes and opened them, however, nothing changed.

And so he sat up, and blinked against the sunlight streaming through the too-tall trees. Definately too tall, since he had been just walking in the front door of his house a moment before, which most assuredly was not in any forest. It had also been morning, not afternoon. He looked around at the tall trees, pines mixed with other deciduous ones that he could not recognize. High hills surrounding a valley, though he could only see bits and pieces of them through the dense foliage. And then he looked down.

Also, I am pretty sure I wasn't a girl before. There was nothing for it but to stare. reluctantly, he touched bits of his anatomy that had been decidedly flatter some thirty seconds before, and blinked as they actually touched something solid. Well, sort of solid. For a moment, he stood there just absolutely weirded the hell out. He must be asleep, the woman must have knocked his ass out cold, and he was having one HELL of a dream, because this couldn't possibly be real. Frantic thoughts burned in his head (Narnia....Sword Art Online....dot.hack/sign...a really good acid trip...)

And then he - she, as it was for the moment - dropped to her knees, and howled in consternation. Something seemed to stir deep within, and he swore to god if that was a period starting things were going to get extremely violent, extremely quickly. The feeling, though, seemed to spread outward, suffuse his limbs with a kind of light and life that he had never in all of his life experienced. Even certain illicit things didn't feel like this. It built, as if gaining pressure, as his - her - howl changed tone.

And it was as if something...changed. He knew what it was - on some instinctual level - but consciously he was as lost as, well, someone doing something they had never done before.

The ground trembled faintly, and quickly grew in intensity. The howl of outrage and confusion became one of horror, delivered in a crystaline tone of a young woman. The trees swayed as the ground shifted restlessly, and that feeling of light, life, and power seemed to flow out of her flesh and into the ground in a staggering wave. Abruptly, she stopped her shriek of terror, and when she did, the ground immediately quieted.

"What.....the..." she said in a low voice. Only mildly dazed, she rose to her feet, and looked around. A few trees had toppled, and there were some small cracks in the humus of the forest floor. All of the birds had ceased their chittering, and the land lay as silent as death itself. Uneasily, the woman - man, man, I'm a damned man - turned, and looked around in greater detail. A short distance off was a pool of water where a creek had been dammed by some creature or another. The surface had yet to fully still from her...her whatever it was...but it would serve the purpose she sought all the same. On unsteady legs, feeling oddly drained from that whatever it had been, she approached the pool and, reaching its shore, looked down.

In the shivering waters, she saw fish flit underneath rocks. And saw her face. She stared at it for a long, long moment.

After a time, she shook her head, hair of unaccustomed length shifting against the back of her neck. "Well. Its got to be the most twisted dream in the world." The words were low, meant only for herself. Clearly, there couldn't be anyone else here. It was a dream, and nothing more. Still, she - he, darnit! - had to wonder at how he ended up in this particular body. Still, it did explain some things. Well, it explained....that...but not how in the hell he had wound up as a she.

"Ok. So. This is a dream. All I need to do is wake up, then." Without a second thought, he slapped himself in the face. Hard.

"Ouch."

Well. That didn't work. How did one go about waking up from a dream? He was pretty sure it was never a question that anyone had to ask. You just did, eventually. And then you forgot everything that happened in it. Moving about in unfamiliar dress, feeling more awkward by the moment, he had to take stock of the situation. And found that he had no specific answers for dealing with something of this nature.

"**** it. Guess I'm walking. I hope there isn't some kind of sex-crazed beast looking for teen-aged women lurking in this forest." A snort. "At this rate, I might run into little red riding hood."

Or the big bad wolf. Who could say, at this point?

"So big scary dude?" SOF said kind of loudly to JD "You see i was cool with crazy real life Sinon and i was cool with random murder cabin in the middle of nowhere but honestly this is really well, dumb." SOF furrowed his brow "I guess maybe not, its better than some of the places I've been so i really shouldn't complain ."

Sinon still followed close behind SOF being near so many unfamiliar people seemed to make her a bit uncomfortable. Her eyes flickered around as if she was afraid of an ambush or something SOF looked back at her "It seems like big guy knows whats going on, besides i'm pretty sure i can take a few hits in this body so just stay close." SOF gave the best smile he could which prompted a pout from Sinon "Its not like i need to use you for... its much appreciated." She said as if her entire tone switched half way through.

"So big guy, Can i get some background, it would be easier to figure out what we and or I are doing next." Then He looked around "Is it customary for no one to talk to each other in this group?" He asked tilting his head "Or is most of this just a typical Tuesday to you guys?"

SOF then thought for a second about exactly what was going on. He went on a Camping Trip and is now stuck in a parallel universe or something in a different body, seems totally reasonable. Now did this body have the full range of capabilities as the one in the source material or is it more cosmetic? Was it just the powers inherited or the full physical stature? His body did feel rather light comparatively to just a few hours ago. Eventually SOF stopped thinking and took a moment to take in his surroundings. "At least its not dreary." He mumbles.

Samus turned suddenly and led the group into an unfamiliar town full of more people from fiction. "Sorry for shooting at you earlier." She said. "However, we do need to stock up on supplies, and since you all are so intent on following me," She smirked. "You're going to help me carry them."

JD smirked at SOF's questions. "First off, call me Adam Blade for now. Or just Blade..." he said while Samus was distracted he added, "A paradox would happen if we go by our real names and meet... certain... people..." he smirked. "As far as background goes... We're in a world that is comprised of fiction. ALL of fiction. Try not to stare. some of those girls are guys from what I gather. There's a few things I still don't understand, but from what we know, there's a guy calling the shots known as the Overseer, and we're here to stop ourselves from stopping him so we can actually stop him. I hope that's not too confusing."

As Samus loaded Blade up with supplies and he carried them all like paper even though by now it was at least half a ton of equipment, he added, "Also, it's more like a typical month... we've been doing this for a while..."

Death was also being loaded with a lot more than the others due to his stature and strength. "Is all this really necessary?" He asked as she put a dozen canisters that were vaguely familiar to Blade and those who had previously known the Resistance. "Wait... What did you say was in these?" He asked, examining one. Samus frowned. "It's not my place to tell you, but open one and you die if you live through it."

Eve/Rukia Sighed and turned to Eggy and Rain. "I really don't want to go to another trial by fire. Maybe we shouldn't follow her to the-"

"WHAT was that?" Samus asked. "I'm right here you know. How did you know about the Power Quotient Generation System?"

"Oh... the what?" Eve lied.

"I am seriously trying not to kill you now. Not one of you are familiar to me, yet most of you act like we've been friends for life."

Death coughed awkwardly at that. She HAD known him... and still did as HellMaster Phibrizzo, but he couldn't let that slip! Not now!

"What was that?" A boy with a sword on his back, resting in a field opened one eye as he heard a scream that could have knocked over a city had it been in the vicinity of one. "Who cares. The boss said to look for the Resistance, not a screaming girl!" his companion said frowning. "When was the last time we had any fun?" the first asked, smirking. the second showed at least a small bit of interest. "Do as you wish. I won't stop you."

"Hmm? Well... I didn't expect someone as beautiful as you... then again, I ain't complaining!" The boy raised his sword near her skirt. "Try not to scream again, Beautiful! HEHEHE-ACH! WHAT THE HELL! MY ARM!!!!" he shouted as it went limp.

"I'm sorry... I wasn't aware it was a formality to allow someone to do what you were attempting. I suppose now you are going to beg for mercy, Blue Exorcist?" A gentleman asked on the other side of them. the kid with the limp arm's eyes widened. "****... the angel of dea-" he didn't finish his sentence as the weaponized string sliced into his skin.

"Miss... follow me if you please. with a scream like that we can't stay here long."

Between the clones, although Rain was currently at a higher power level, Eggy still had the superior physique, and each of the little girls were distributed around a hundred and fifty pounds of supplies.

"You know," Eggy scolded one of the soldiers, "this world encompasses most all of fiction, right? Ever thought of getting some storage rings or cosmos sacks?"

"They're expensive..." the soldier muttered, a bit helpless in front of the adorable but fierce Asura Spirit.

"So recruit some people with spatial abilities for a logistics team! Why would you need to pay full price?"

The poor man seemed grateful when Eve pulled the girls' attentions. Of course, immediately after, Sammus's button got pressed. The soldier did his best to hurry away from the three girls and back into formation before he got dragged into things.

"Well, dear Sammus, haven't you answered your own question?" Eggy smirked sassily. "We know you, but you don't know us, the answer is that we're time travelers... Most of us are, anyway. Some time ago and some time in the future, we defeated the Overseer. Well, mostly me, Death here, Rain, and two others who aren't here now. We beat him, but in a way that didn't prevent the end of the worlds... and also cut off any chance of preventing that destruction. I ****ing up my strategy a bit. It happens. Anyway, to explain it in a way that makes sense, let's say we used a special treasure to send ourselves back in time to before all that went down, so we can try again. Make sense?"

"Of course, our other selves still exist in this timeline, if we meet them too soon, it would be bad." Rain added.

"Exactly," Eggy nodded. "We know about the entry process because we joined you guys in another timeline. There was the forest and an illusion barrier, and some steps down into the ground. That Adam guy with the augmented arms and that Pink-haired Espada with the tongue fetish running the trial-by-fire machine! Did I miss anything?" she asked her clone.

"I don't remember very well either," Rain shrugged. "I had just escaped the fortress... I had other things on my mind."

"Oh yeah, the fortress! They were accommodating if nothing else. I kinda wanna infiltrate just to use that bedroom again."

"Maybe we shouldn't joke about that in front of Sammus. She's already trying not to kill us."

"Eh?" Eggy smirked. "Then how about I trade in some useful information? The Overseer's identity is... Fireheart? Fireflash? Fire-something, and his power is to transmute matter. I know more, as long as you don't shoot me~"

"mmmm" Katara slowly opened her bright blue eyes. "What in the...." she looked aloud a bit confused at her surroundings. she pulled a strand of dark brown hair out of her face trying to see a bit better. "Where am i?" Suddenly she heard a girl scream near by. She stood up without thinking running after the sound of the girl. As she got closer saw the man take a type of string and cut into the man that was on top of the girl. She froze looking a bit shocked at first. She looked at the scared girl and suddenly felt concern take over her as she ran over to her. "Oh my are you alright?" She looked the girl over. "I heard you scream are you hurt?" She looked over the girl for injury.

Into the clear light of day, out from beneath the towering trees and into a clearing that couldn't have been seen from more than a dozen paces off. And, of course, there would have to be someone here and, worse still, someone with rather dark thoughts on their mind. Deep inside her head, Naive grimaced at the words pouring from the bastard's mouth, already deciding how she was going to go about killing him. The only trouble with that was, of course, that she was unarmed. Also, the bit about being in a place she never recalled being before in her life, having just arrived and being more than a touch confused as to the circumstances now being forced upon her (HIM gods be damned, HIM!). As a final bonus, she knew that what she had done was not something that should even be possible, and yet she also knew that there was a great deal more she could do if pressed to it.

The how of it, however, was elusive. There were no easy answers to be had.

She opened her mouth to call the bastard down for his uncivil tongue, as well as threaten to relocate several parts of his anatomy, when he pressed matters even further. His advance was violent, and she was completely shocked when he overpowered her easily. I am not that goddamned weak! she thought to herself frantically, but whatever her personal thoughts about her own abilities were, the reality was that the bastard overpwoered her, overwhelmed her as if it was of no consequence. Getting her to the forest floor, there was something frantic rising in her mind - dude's gonna have his way with me, what the hell, doesn't he...oh - and the panic seemed to erase any coherent thoughts. That alien power she had called upon just minutes before seemed about as far away as the sun and the moon. She was about to despair of this whole ordeal when another voice cut through the sounds of her ineffective struggles. Laying on the ground with her assailant over her, she watched as the stranger effectively dealt with the threat, blade dropping from the dress she had found herself in just minutes before, dark eyes wide with shock. And no small amount of confusion, either.

"Excuse me," she began, a trifle unsteadily, but before she could finish what she was going to say, the new arrival was speaking. The tones were calm, cool and collected, and did not match the actions that were being delivered. She had heard of garotte wires, before, but never anything like this fellow was using. Curioser and curioser, she thought to herself. It had a wild edge to it. So apparently this is like Wonderland or Oz or something. Not a very...comforting thought. Apparently his girlfriend had hit him in the head harder than he had thought. Or she thought. Or whatever; it was turning into a confusing mess trying to come to grip with the sudden, drastic change in reality. Grunting inwardly, she decided to stop playing the pronoun game and just get on with it. He was now a she, and that was that. Bruce Jenner, eat your diseased heart out!

Blood flitted through the air in a fine mist, a faint patina of it flecking her cheek. She looked visibly ill at that - oh my God, that's another man's blood on my ****ing face! - and more than a little unsteady as she pushed the body off of her after it had fallen forward. Unsure if the bastard was dead or not, lying on the ground as he was with a gaping wound, she had to turn and look at the other - the one that the downed man had been calling the Angel of Death. He certainly didn't look like any angel she had ever thought of, before, but then she wasn't precisely aware of what the rules were in this fairy-tale land where the make believe seemed apparently real. Apparently? You just used magic, woman. Oh, sure, you used to do that all the time before that thing happened, right? Being sarcastic with herself. Well, it was a day for firsts apparently.

Grimacing, she regarded the stranger with wide eyes, and got to unsteady feet. "So, you just expect me to come along with you as if we were the best pals in the world, do you?" She shuddered at the thought. "Don't take candy from strangers, don't get in a stranger's car, and don't follow apparent sociopathic murderers into the woods. Sounds like sage advice, if you ask me." She took a step back, not really certain what she would do if he decided that her opinion on the subject didn't merit discussion. She was prepared to do battle with this new stranger. Not that she expected it to go any better than the first.

Yet another voice startled her from behind, and she whirled to try and face both unknowns at once, which turned out to be an impossibility. Unsure how to answer the clearly different tone of the third person to come upon her in this...whatever it was...she stared, dark eyes remaining as wide as they could be. "Um...I...don't think so? Other than my pride, a little?" she replied unsteadily, uncertainly. She turned her head back and forth between the two of them, a wild light entering her eyes. "Um...can someone please tell me what the **** is going on here?"

"Right, right a parallel universe, or whatever, I guess i just have to sort of accept that." SOF sighed "What do you think about this?" He asked nudging Sinon playfully. To which she scowled at him and rolled her eyes "Its like being trapped in Gun Gale..." Her tone suggests that this would be fine but her face flashed a bit of uneasiness and fear. SOF smiled wryly "I'm just glad we have some people around us, who are somehow very experienced with whatever the hell just happened."

Sinon let herself move away from SOF's back as she took up a natural position at his side. She looked around meekly before hearing Doce, and letting out a giggle "Time travelers huh?" She mumbled a bit sarcastically. SOF gave her a mock dissapointed look before striding up to the front "Ok, i get that you guys have all done this before, but the lack of respect is kind of disturbing, like Death do you have to question things and..." He looked at Eggy having no idea who she is "Who ever you are, Do you have to berate people just trying to do their jobs like your better than them."

SOF then felt a sharp pain on his cheek. As he blinked his eyes open he saw a **** looking Sinon "Don't be hypocritical, that speech was an butthole thing to do in it of itself."

SOF's posture deflated and he turned to them "I-I'm sorry, kind of bad at making conversation aren't I?" His subsequent laugh and facial expression was super nervous as if he were ashamed, "That was rude of me, especially how a referred to you." He looked apologetically and Eggy, "It would be easier if i say had a name, maybe for you as well. I might be a useful pawn who knows." He laughed as if it were a half joke.

Both Doce's felt a sudden pang of worry when one of the new members stepped foreward and seemed to call her out on something. She acted confident, but... Well, this whole thing was basically a laugh or you'll cry situation. Minimizing and mocking the situation was one of her coping mechanisms. Actually though, teasing people to this extent wasn't like her?
But it is like Eggy, she realized. This isn't the first time a new body's personality has gotten to me. After all, it's my consciousness but their body and their brain. They're still wired to conform more easily to certain habits and thought patterns. I only have so much control over that.
Eggy looked over at Rain and knew that they were thinking the same thing, ultimately.
"So... It's my fault?" Eggy frowned.
Rain nodded with a portion of worry in her eyes. "Probably. Resisting the host's personality and messing with the way their brains work to stay more yourself is why you've been having so much trouble with your powers these past few bodies. We heard rumors about stuff like that in the beginning, right? People who gave in entirely in exchange for more power... You're just unlucky because Eggy's personality is so different from ours."
Just as she was having a revelation, the newbie seemed to turn around and apologize for his rudeness.
"My name this time is Eggy," she said to him, notably not making any apologies for her previous actions. "This is Rain. We're actually the same person, but she's my clone. And then we got stuck in different fictional bodies. If that's too confusing, just think of us as fraternal twins or something."
She hesitated for a moment.
"Although I make like I'm used to it, you might get a little rude too if you were sent to an alternate dimension, had your gender swapped, kidnapped, escaped, joined a resistance, destroyed a world, entered another parallel game world, gender swapped again, broke it just when it was getting fun, forced to fight fictional monsters in the real world, told you ****ing up so bad that the only way to fix it is to go back in time, and had to start the whole damn thing over again!" She got slightly agitated at the end, and Rain hugged her and stroked her hair.
"Shh... We're almost done, okay."
"Sorry," she swallowed her tears and put on a calm face. "I'll wait to break down until after this is all over. Can we get moving already?" She glared at the surrounding resistance soldiers. Why were they still stopped to spectate something like this? Bastards.

SOF instinctively moved in front of Eggy to block the view of the Soldiers "Back off of her!" He summoned his most intimidating voice, a little yell he picked up in marine corp boot camp. He had hoped that was enough to have them disperse. To his dismay however they just started staring at him confusedly.

'Whatever' SOF thought 'As long as its me and not her.' He grit his teeth "Although I didn't understand everything she said, I know she has been through a lot and just thinking about it makes me respect her strength. And none of you even respected her as a human being. For what? Was this entertaining for you? You're all sick." SOF suddenly felt ashamed at his outburst, but he quickly swallowed it and turned back to Eggy.

"Sounds like you guys have had it hard, it also sounds like you've been doing some very important work, and for that you have my gratitude... Oh and its very nice to meet you both, my name is Archer. I wish I had been here sooner if only to alleviate the burden somewhat." He laughed nervously and smiled at her "I look forward to working with you."

SOF thought about how Eggy said that her character may be controlling her somewhat. Maybe that's why he was so headstrong and prone to outbursts Archer is kind of a cynical prick in FSN. SOF sighed, knowing that he'd have a long road ahead of him. A comforting hand patted his back and Sinon's pleasant voice rang near his ear, "So... I'm sorry for slapping you... And uh what you just did was pretty cool... Don't let it go to your head!" She added at the end as if to try and invalidate her own compliment. SOF smiled and shrugged "Got it, no more arrogance for me, but thanks for the compliment regardless." Or maybe It wouldn't be such a long road after all, neither he nor anyone else was alone.

Samus blinked, "Fire... what?" She muttered as she loaded more supplies on Eggy and the others. JD sighed, "Don't look at me. I was hollofiying and fighting against my will for most of that part of our little escapade."

Samus frowned at Eggy... egging her on(I am sooo sorry for the bad pun) to take the bait of "Don't shoot me and you get more knowledge", but wasn't able to decide whether or not she trusted them before Archer started arguing with the one who she was suspecting was a liar.

Samus attitude didn't seem to change much until she heard Eggy and Rain's explanatory dilema:

"Although I make like I'm used to it, you might get a little rude too if you were sent to an alternate dimension, had your gender swapped, kidnapped, escaped, joined a resistance, destroyed a world, entered another parallel game world, gender swapped again, broke it just when it was getting fun, forced to fight fictional monsters in the real world, told you ****ing up so bad that the only way to fix it is to go back in time, and had to start the whole damn thing over again!"

"I may not know just what you've been through, but it would be best if you had allies even if you don't want a rank in our Resistance forces." She sighed. "I don't know who you were before, but frankly it would be best if I knew so I don't do something stupid to give away your... 'position' shall we call it?"

JD was not particularly angry at SOF or Eggy... which was weird considering he usually got mad when this sort of thing happene-oh, right... no bi-polar in this body, even if it was a friggin' killing machine. "So... we need anything else?" He asked Samus. she checked over a list and shook her head. "I think that's all. Follow me."

They arrived at the entrance to the Resistance base, and like the first time were led through an illusion barrier leading underground. "Welcome back to the base, I guess?" She said as the supplies were taken from them and brought to wherever they were needed.

"Samus!" a voice said calmly through a loudspeaker system. "In my quarters. NOW!"

"I... uh... gotta take care of that..." Samus said awkwardly as she left the group.

"So... what now? I don't really like the idea of fighting when we know their base will be attacked soon!" JD whispered "I mean, last time we were here the roof caved in and we were ambushed..." He said, remembering something along the lines of mutilating a nether region in that particular timeline.

Walter, or as the now deceased Exorcist had called him, the Angel of Death, smiled calmly. "I assure you I am not a sociopath, nor am I vampiric in the slightest like the anime would suggest. However if we wish to live, we really should be on our way. If it helps I should mention that this world is just as real as earth, yet just as fictitious as I appear to be. Therefore you would be advised to make friends... of which I am offering. Now whether you choose to follow me or not is your prerogative, but I won't force either of you to do anything against your will. I shall take my leave now." He turned and started walking away with a calm demeanor. "Or you could just sit there and wait to be violated." he added, shrugging.

Katara sighed in relief at the girls reply. She was glad she was unharmed. She looked between the two of them and smiled. "I am glad you are not hurt your pride however can be restored eventually" She smiled at the girl. Katara smiled towards the man. "I am pleased to see you are uninjured as well sir" She smiled kindly. "But I do believe the man is right it seems a bit dangerous to be without friends or even allies" She turned to follow the man. For some reason even if she didn't know him or even his name she knew she could trust him. After all he apparently saved the other girl so he must not be all bad. She ran to catch up with him. "If its alright might i ask you a few questions since you seem to know a lot about this world" She looked at him smiling. "By the way my name is Katara. What is your name?" Her blue eyes seemed to sparkle with curiosity.

For some reason, being "protected" from the soldiers' stares made the looks feel even heavier. The oppressive awkwardness triggered Eggy's innate pride, and she barely kept herself from saying something unkind. It's the thought that counts? Psh. Results are what matter. Well, that was only half of what she really thought. Some part of her naturally appreciated the gesture, But it's cooler if you just act and don't make a big deal out of it with words... No, I'm getting distracted.

"You'll meet me as a smiley blonde guy in green clothes," Eggy said to Samus.

They had started moving again, so Eggy began thinking of ways to make her powers work. After a while, she had found a few points where her and her host's mind would sync easily. As long as I've got a good link set up, I should be able to use her powers at will. It's not like I have to remaster everything, since this body already knows it all.

They returned to the base and Samus was called away somewhere, but Eggy quickly called out behind her. "And Samus... You'll be seeing Lucile again soon. Remember to keep the big picture in mind when that happens."

"What's wrong with it?" Rain asked JD. "We survived last time, and now we have even more people to defend with." Neither Doce's were worried about the impending attack.

She grunted at his comment. Anime? She had heard of it, and even watched some...but it had been many years before. If his visage was supposed to strike some kin of recollection on her part, well, it had failed. "No, you give us so many choices when you tell us 'it's dangerous to go alone'. Why don't you add the obligatory 'take this!' to the end of that?" Good. Everything else might have changed about her, but she could still crank world class snark out without much trouble. She eyed the dark stranger with hooded eyes. The fact that she seemed so much weaker than the body she had been i before...whatever had happened...didn't seem to cross hr mind. Perhaps it would have led to a slight, well, moderation of the sarcasm. then again, Naive didn't moderate much of anything well. It was a full meal ticket, all or nothing; you got the whole schebang or you got nothing.

She turned to Katara with a sickly grin on her face. "I don't know how well my pride will heal when someone seems to have yanked it off and replaced it with after market parts." She indicated the bits of her that were, well, either more round and bulging, or less bulging, than should have been the case. She shot a dark look at the stranger, then dropped to her knees, turning over the corpse the oter had deposited neatly on the ground. "Only person that's going to be violated is you, Sherlock." Struggling, he managed to unclasp the buckle of the fellow's sword belt, and with a grunt of effort, she managed to pull it loose. Strapping it around her waist, she took hold of the sword from where it lay on the ground. It was...much heavier than it looked, and it required much more effort to lift than she thought possible. All the same, she got it up with both hands, and made an experimental swing or two, careful to not stab Katara in the face while she was at it. Ultimately unsatisfied, she sheathed the weapon and turned to face Katara. "Name's Naive. Used to be a dude, now I got boobs. I can't say that won't be its own kind of fun, but perhaps we ought to follow Captain Jackass here and see what kinda cave of wonders he leads us to. I have a few questions myself..."

Like the strange feeling that I am missing a part of myself...like I am missing some essential piece that makes me human. Shaking her head, she huffed and turned to follow. There were other mysteries too, of course. The twinkling shards in her mind that made no sense, that, when whole again, she was certain would shed some light. On something, anyway. "So, anyway, Azrael...what gives? How the hell did I end up here...well, how I ended up here. Are we here to slay the Jabberwockie and save Narnia, or is this some sick acid trip?"
