Yoshito was the first to begin reciting. His first poem had been written by Mizuki. Several of the listening dragons were moved to tears by it. Yoshito only thought that it was to be expected that their alpha's poem was the most beautiful, even if he himself was not present. Next was one if his own poems. It was not as beautiful as the one that Mizuki had written but still very nice. After that a few more Water dragons did their recitations. Before they had come to the festival they had chosen the most beautiful ones at the residence of the Water Tribe, so all of them were great.

Satoshi stuck around for the whole session, even though he didn't really want to. Sure the first few were pretty good, but he didn't really enjoy poetry that much. Soji had already left much earlier. Poetry was not his thing at all and he was hungry. He wanted to grab a bite before they had to perform.

After the poem recitals had ended there was a break for about an hour before the Air Tribe had to get ready for their big performance. Even though around the festival grounds there were already several little musical performances, those were just because they love playing.

Arete silently wandered around the woods, finishing some food and medicine. She silently curled up and stared at the ground, shivering with cold. At least, there wasn't anyone else around. She silently dragged her wings on the ground, upset at having been tossed from the festival. It was one of the few social events that she enjoyed. With a light sigh, she curled into a ball in her cave and stared out at the wall and listened to the birds, feeling a wave of pressure alleviating from her shoulders. She couldn't fix her banishment now, except by feeling better. So she may as well try and feel better. With a soft sigh, she took some more medicine then took a nap for awhile.

Erydia went to each performance, introducing all the Alphas in a formal manner and each of the tribe's performance. She enjoyed the collaboration of cultures and talents that had become the mainstay of this festival. As the Air Tribe was readying to there performance, Erydia gently stood on the stage she'd set up for them. She calmly introduced Satoshi and the others then stepped back to let them have the stage.

First the most renowned musicians of the Air Tribe performed several music pieces together in a band. The music ranged from light and happy music to which the spectators could danse to sad and heavy pieces which moved some to tears. They ended with a classical piece which almost everyone knew and could sing along with.
Then it was time for Soji's solo piece. He performed with his violin. A serious, yet gentle melody floated over the festival area. When he was done the applause was greater than for the previous band. Soji felt quite content as he glanced towards his brother. 'Try and beat this,' he secretly thought.
It was Satoshi's turn to perform. He had brought his flute with him. When he was standing on the stage he showed his famous charming smile. It made various lady dragons who didn't know him that well swoon over him already. Those that did know him better were not that easily taken in but still had to admit that he could be charming if he wanted to. After enjoying the attention for a moment, Satoshi started to play. A soft delicate melody drifted over the whole festival area. He had added his Air magic into the melody so that it was hearable thorough the area in a nice way. Soji had not been able to do this. While playing Satoshi started to move too. First a little and then more and more. Perfectly in to tune with his music he was swirling around the stage. Some of the Air Dragons in the spectators also broke out in a spontaneous dance capturing the dragons around them in it. The music went faster and faster, ending in a grand finale. Precisely when his piece was over, Satoshi's dance ended in a bow for the public. The applause was far greater than for Soji. But Soji didn't mind, he was fair and had to honestly admit that his brother was better than him. After that a few more groups of Air Dragons performed music pieces for the now enthousiastic crowd. Everyone danced and had fun.

Yorald enjoyed all the musical pieces that were being performed by the air dragons as he floated in the air, moved by all of the performances. He was glad he made it to the festival instead of skipping out like he would have normally done. The feeling of the area was as moving as the music and dancing that was going on, which he thoroughly enjoyed while watching over the rest of the village seeing all the dragons enjoying themselves.
