At first glance I would say demon, but if we defer from stereotypes then angels can also be pretty interesting, destroying the faith of an angel in a corrupt system could be nice, and turning a demon into a nice creature could also be nice

well initially of course he is going to become nicer under the influence of the angel

Name: His real name is unpronounceable by humans (I couldn't think of one)
Nickname: Shigure (this is what he calls himself when he disguises himself as a human)
age: unknown
Species: demon
Bio: He starts of as a typical demon. He loves sinning a lot. He regularly breaks the rules of hell as well, because he never listens to any summonings. His motto is basically: "What are they going to do? Throw me into hell?" (I didn't put much here on purpose because I want to built his character during the rp)
Weapon: would use anything to win a fight, dirty tricks included. He prefers to use a combination of magic (fire/dark/earth) and his badass demon sword which he can perfectly hide if sheated.

he can also go into a complete demon mode which doesn't look humanoid at all, very beastly, But I didn't find a nice picture
