In a tavern along the edge of the Old Kingdom or so it was once named many years ago, a cloaked figure came inside.
“Good tidings, Inn Keeper. A room and meals for a few days once more, if you please or don’t please.” came a female’s voice.

A key was passed over the counter to the young woman who was taking the hood of her cloak down.
“Thank ye. I’ll show myself up.” She headed up to the room where she always stayed. She changed and unpacked before heading down the stairs for dinner.
She sat in her usual corner which was the cleanest spot in the tavern. And why not since she owned the tavern. Not that many knew that fact.

The Inn Keepers wife came over to see what she wanted.
“The usual. Any news around here?” she asked.
“No ma’m. It has been very quiet since you left last month. I’ll have your stew ready in a few minutes.” She spoke as she left.
The strange woman was writing a poster to be placed up on the board.

Wanted
Students who will travel to a dragon academy.
All willing students will receive free tuition, food, housing, clothing and 1 dragon egg. Must be in fit condition to travel many miles on foot to Dragonopia. Once there the student will be under the command of a Dragon Lorest who will guide the student in how to raise, care for and ride a full grown dragon. The student will be required to stay for a minimum of 5 years.
Once the student and dragon passes their final exam, they will be required to spend 5 years serving the Dragonopia as a military force.
All interested students must be at least 15 and not more than 25. They must be unmarried, without child, and have no outside obligations.
All interested students must be at The Dragon’s Den, Old Kingdom, on the 5th day of October. Testing will start on the 6th and those who pass will leave on 7th.
Anyone with questions will have their questions answered on the 5th day of October.

When the wife came back, the woman handed her the poster.
“Please post this. I will need a large load of supplies next month. Mostly staples such as flour, sugar, lard, nuts, dried fruit, smoked meats, oats. I will be bringing a few sets of oxen with me.” She spoke as she handed the poster to the wife.
“I’ll have the estimate before I leave in the morning. I’ll be leaving at first light.” The woman announced.
“I’ll have your usual ready for ye then.” Was the answer from the wife.

1) This is in the Omega Section just because I don't want to have to count each sentence, ect.... But the RP will only be as good as the RPers! If there is nothing to work off of, then this RP will die. Please do try to make at least 5 good sentences each post.

2) Post at least every two days or let me know here if you are going to be gone for more than two days. I know that Life hands you the bowl of pits sometimes and everyone is able to get ill from time to time, let me know what is going on and I can excuse me for a bit.

Pigmy Messenger Dragons are born without any fur, just a bit of fuzz all over the body. As it grows, the baby loses the baby fuzz and begin to grow silky hair that curls. It is recommended to keep the fur trimmed short. The front legs are shorter than the back legs. It will sit on your shoulder or any other perch it can find. It prefers to sleep under your blankets or in a cave like box. It is an omnivore and will eat anything but fish.

Now that it is an adult, the Pigmy Messenger Dragon might want to crawl under your covers. The wings are now leathery and the tummy is full of scales which will be pushed off as the new one replaces the old one.

Description:
The Xenica Messenger Dragon is more serpentine. It has fur down the ridge of it's back. The wings are unique because it does not have a major top bone around the top. Instead of the bone, it has a flexible ‘vein’ that is hollow until air is pumped into the ‘vein’. The air comes from a special tube from the lungs and is controlled by a valve. The Dragon breathes in and inflates the outer ‘wing vein’ which would spread the wings. It has 5 bones called floating ribs where are used for supporting the wing. When the dragon is done flying, it releases the air. This is how it can fold itself up tightly against it's body. It is also very flexible and can curl up in an 'S' shape which mimics the shape of a snake.
The other thing it has is web feet which enables it to swim.

Description:
This dragon was used in the last Dragon Wars as a Spy Dragon. It was fast and sleek with the added benefit of being able to send images to its owner.
As an infant the colors are pale but it darkens as it grows with the body being darker than the rest of the dragon. The claws are sharp and curved. The horns and wing hooks are dangerous as the claws. The tail strong and has a razor sharp curved spade shape end. The hide is thick and grows thicker with age. The scales will fall out by a new stronger scale takes its place. If someone grabs its back, the sharp ridges will slice through leather by the time it is ten years old.
As a young dragon, it has a huge appetite and eats frequently.

Gender: female
Personality: Kind but very firm when it comes to decision making. She is a loner and very lonely.
Looks: Mystique has long curls to the middle of her back. She is on the short side being5 foot even. She weighs in at 110 pounds. She always wears long dresses and skirts. A cloak is often worn as well as some sort of a scarf. Leather boots and gloves are worn to protect her hands. She has dark green eyes.

Personality: Majestic Lady tends to be aggressive and a leader of the pack, she is very protective, very particular about what she eats as well as being very active and curious about the world around her.

She stands 6 foot while laying and full grown, her head will be another 4 foot and 3 foot legs. She will be 10 foot long from chest to tail tip. The tip of the tail is a blunt point.

She hopes hopes become an educated and prosperous Lady. She loves taking care of animals and she knows a lot about farming by the phases of the moon.

Gender: Male
Personality: Although Yeeru prefers to be in groups and, Yeeru is a man of few words. He chooses his words carefully and never speaks out of turn. He's normally very generous with encouraging words and with his time, but not so generous with information. He's not shy, nor is he timid for he's usually very bold in his decision making, but he's extremely stubborn and has a hard time changing his mind on most matters. He enjoys teaching others but doesn't take to learning new things very well, especially when around other students who make a point to prove they know more than he does or snobby teachers.

Personality: Placid, extremely vigilant, loyal, and private.

As a Hatchling:
Udaya as a hatchling was a dark shade of blue with equally dark eyes. Her nose was rather snub but her ears were large for a dragon of her size. Her underside hadn't grown scales yet, however. Her hair was short and straight, coming form the spine of her back and only being an inch in length. She can hover and fly for short periods of time.

As an adult:
Udaya has two pairs of lungs and can fly on her own. Udaya's lung capacity allows her to produce large amounts of wind from her mouth and her slim and long body allows her to turn and move with great speed. Her under scales grew, but not with as much density or thickness of her other scales. However, as she grew, her colour started to deplete, her hair grew, and so did her snout and body length.

Udaya is 16 feet long with a body circumference of 60 inches. Her ears are 5 feet long and her hair is 3 feet long.

She only takes questions at the end of her lessons and she refuses to give any special care to specific students. She treats all students equally, believing that everyone has equal capabilities and should be treated the same. She believes in learning on the job and doesn't take excuses for anything. She's protective of her students however and is a safety freak and takes every precaution to ensure no one gets seriously hurt. Though a few bumps and bruises aren't bad.

Personality: Extremely aggressive towards other male dragons and extremely possessive of females.

As a Hatchling:
Imal is a pure breed dragon who's main purpose is to breed other strong, battle ready dragon. He was large as a hatchling and showed many signs of advanced agility and power. He was pure white with dark eyes and wings approximately 2/3's the size of him. He was aggressive at an early age, but he wasn't bias and generally attacked any dragon or person of threat.

As an adult:
Imal has grown to be a powerful, forceful dragon with great battle skills relying on brute force and strength. Since his hatching, Jiao has directed his aggression to threats ( mainly other aggressive males) so that way he won't attack the breeding females. Although his aggression hasn't fully been controlled, it's definitely a lot less than before, and Jiao works hard to keep him under control.

Imal is a massive dragon of 30 feet from head to tail and a wing span of 16. He has an elongated neck and show muzzle with sharp teeth. Imal is always ready for a fight and uses his massive weight to push fighting dragons around.

I'll do Jiao's entrance in my next post. Do teachers know anyone at the dragon school, more specially, Mystique (that's the inn keeper's wife, yes? I hope I'm not confused) ? And is she already a teacher or does she apply like everyone else? I don't know because I never saw any specifications in the old thread, even though I read through it.

McPainty- Your teacher would know of and believe in the legends of Dragonopia. The legends speak of the Last Dragon War where all of the dragons and riders were slain. You see once a dragon and rider are bonded, they are as one. If one is suffering the other one tends to suffer too... or die which is the case of this war. Basically the rider and dragon share the same fate. Back to thestory... the last of the dragons took turns mating with the Queen. The Queen went into hiding to lay eggs. Her rider - The Lore Master of that time- went into hiding as well. The Lore Master was pregnant as well for her mate came and laid with her. It has been several generations (100 years) and the eggs are stirring which called the present Lore Master to follow her calling. I am the descendant of that Lore Master that hid so many years ago. I should make a good story for the RP but this is the basics of the Legend. Your teacher would be seeking the Academy and may even be a descendant of one of the Last Dragon Riders.

If you want to, your teacher can have a set of the original book of the dragons. I will send you a few things that I would like for your to include in your curriculum. The teacher would know of the Lore Master but never met her because all of the people that served Dragonopia and their children left by ways that are unknown to anyone else.

I have not named the Inn Keeper or his wife. They are descendants of the Original People who owned the Inn. Mystique is the name of the Lore Master but she does not tell anyone. It is a special name of power and only one will know her name. It will be her Mate that will know her name.
I hope that this explains a lot to you. I'll make the background story up ASAP.

No posting order but I want everyone to post frequently. Preferably daily but at least every other day unless you have a specific reason why you can't. I hate it when people join then quit without letting me know. Which is why I started that rule.
