Story
"You want to hear a story Artemis?" The old grandmother asked.
The young girl nodded. "Hundreds of years ago a vampire was causing a ruckus through a village. One day, a young girl managed to lock him away within a cathedral with a spell that only the girl, or whomever is related to her, can break.... But there is more!" The grandma told in a mysterious fashion. "Within that cathedral is an even deeper prison, holding the most mysterious power." The grandma then smiled seeing the captivated look from her granddaughter. " With each passing generation there is a new guardian of the old abandoned cathedral....But that is a legend, right? do not let it scare you."
Years passed and the young girl Artemis has become a fine young woman, her grandmother (however) was getting more and more sick as time went on. On her graduation day, instead of happy news, she received not so good news.
Her Grandmother had died, leaving behind only a strange looking old key and a note.
"Please take a basket to the old cathedral 10 miles down the dirt road. ....
You are chosen."
It confused her more than anything else, but she went to and did as her dead grandmother wanted.
What she did not know was how very real those legends were about to become.

Bio; Her parents died when she was young, so she has little to no memory of them. She went to live with her Grandmother in a run down cottage just outside of the main town.

Personality: Cain is ruthless and sadistic, enjoying the torment and pain of others. His time in solitude has caused him to sometimes speak to himself, although he never says the name out loud. Whatever else was in the cathedral with Cain has made him more unstable at times, causing him to lose what sanity he has left. Consuming blood will repair his mind state.
Looks:
Bio: Cain was once a kind vampire hunter who was engaged to the love of his life. Cain's best friend hunted with him, and they shared many things in common, including the love for the same woman. Cain's best friend and fiance lured him into a trap, pretending to be captured by vampires. Cain rushed in to save them, and when he realized he had been betrayed it was too late. The vampires betrayed his best friend and fiance, and brutally executed them right in front of Cain. Instead of killing him, they turned Cain, cursing him to become what he had hunted for so many years. Cain was no longer the person he once was. His bloodthirsty rampages were fueled by his pain and hatred of both vampires and humans. When Cain was locked inside the cathedral he discovered something that only warped him even more. His time in the cathedral cause him to create an nameless alter ego who he consults with at times
Other: Although Cain despises humans and vampires he is not a mindless murderer who slays everyone he comes into contact with. He prefers only to feed at night and rests during the day. Cain can go days without rest, but his powers will eventually weaken. Sometimes the man he once was surfaces and he has moments of kindness, and even heroism.
