PLOT
In the far future, Earth is facing a double crisis. The planet has become overpopulated, and an alien army is on its way to destroy it. To solve both problems at once, the International Government (IG) has funded a project, codename: ATHENA. The project is designed to quickly find and train people with a natural talent for warfare, while at the same time reducing the population. The project has been subject to extreme criticism and scrutiny, as the participants who fail the program three times are killed when the odds of success are 1/24. This has led the IG to recruit participants against their will, and typically during sleep.
