As the title suggests, this is to test for interest in a cooking or gourmet RP. I have yet to see any so I was wondering if there was a market for this type of RP.

Hm, for starters, the first setting I had in mind would be a school of cooking. It's based off the setting of Shokugeki No Souma, or Food Wars. The school organises cooking competitions and stuff and most if not all the exams are testing the styles of cooking.

It sounds like it could work if done right? I've never seen it done before, so you'd have to pioneer this. If that can even be used as a verb.

It could work, but will need RPers to do a bit more research on things (recipes, cooking methods, etc.) which I thought may be a put off for many.

Depending on plot and whatnot this might be interesting. Not sure though. I mean the idea is interesting. But I'd have to have an idea of what the plot is. Since I'm not familiar with anything previously mentioned I can't say exactly if I would be interested or not. But the idea sounds shiney.

I think that this idea could work. If you wanted to try it out I would be interested in doing it with you.

I would totally be up for something like this. It would be a great break from the typical RP and allow expansion of horizons a bit.

I think I'll do a proof-of-concept RP which will have very little plot for the first run. Just to see how things turn up.

Sounds vey interesting! I'd be up for it. It's a very interesting concept, something I've never done before, though personally lots of research will be done on my part.
